An apparatus for cleaning and treating hard to reach areas of the human body is provided. The inventive apparatus includes an elongated, telescoping handle for manual manipulation by an individual. A pair of applicators are removably attached to, and extend from, attachment supports positioned at the lower end of the handle for cleaning. An abrasion pad is pivotally and removably mounted to one of the attachment supports for abrading surfaces of the foot or back. A planar brush is also removably mounted one of the attachment supports and can be extended for brushing exterior surfaces of the foot to improve podiatric hygiene. A mirror and an applicator pad can also be attached to the supports. The upper end of the handle is curved and includes a hook member for manipulating socks onto the feet of the user.

Compression garment donning aid devices, methods, and kits including a compression garment donning aid with flexible sheets, each of the flexible sheets having: a sheet leg edge having a first sheet leg corner opposite a second sheet leg corner; a mateable sheet leg fastener attached to the first sheet leg corner and the second sheet leg corner; and a sheet waist edge opposite the sheet leg edge, the sheet waist edge having a front sheet waist corner opposite a back sheet waist corner. The donning aid further includes a sheet back fastener attached to the back sheet waist corner of one of the flexible sheets and the back sheet waist corner of the other of the flexible sheets; and a sheet front fastener attached to the front sheet waist corner of one of the flexible sheets and the front sheet waist corner of the other of the flexible sheets.

Assembly (2) for donning a compressive garment (4), comprising a set of ring sections (6, 6′) together forming an openable closed ring structure (8) which extends around a main ring axis (R), said ring structure (8) comprising a circumferential wall (10) for receiving a stretched compressive garment (4) thereon, wherein the ring structure (8) is configured for resisting radial compression of the circumferential wall (10) by the received garment (4), wherein at least two of the ring sections (6, 6′) are moveable with respect to each other for opening the ring structure (8), wherein at least one passage (12a, 12b) is provided in the circumferential wall (10) of the closed ring structure (8).

A method includes providing an apparatus including a frame including a first sub-frame and a second sub-frame that is slidable relative to the first sub-frame along a first direction. A first peg is coupled with the first sub-frame, and a second peg is coupled with the second sub-frame. A compression stocking is provided and includes a stocking body having a proximal end and a distal end, the body defining an opening. The compression stocking also includes a plurality of sleeves disposed on an exterior of the body, and each of the plurality of sleeves are oriented in a longitudinal direction relative to the body. The first peg and the second peg are coupled with respective sleeves of the plurality of sleeves, and the second sub-frame is slid relative to the first sub-frame in the first direction to expand the opening defined in the body.

An apparatus for donning and doffing a stocking includes a frame including a base portion, a first rail having a first longitudinal axis, and a second rail having a second longitudinal axis. A first post is coupled with the first rail and is slidable in a direction parallel with the first longitudinal axis, and a second post is coupled with the second rail and is slidable in a direction parallel with the second longitudinal axis. A first clasp member is coupled with the first post and has a first prong adapted to engage a first portion of the stocking. A second clasp member is coupled with the second post and has a second prong adapted to engage a second portion of the stocking. A third clasp member is coupled with the base portion and has a third prong adapted to engage a third portion of the stocking.

A sock holding dressing aid 10 has a frame 32 with side members 28 and a spacing member 30 provided at the back of the frame. The spacing member 30 provides a gap between the side members 28 for a foot of a user so the foot can be inserted into a sock fitted around the outside of the frame 32. This enables the user to quickly put on a pair of socks without having to excessively bend over, thus saving them time, difficulty and discomfort.

A liner to an appendage of a user includes a base member, a bracket adjustably mounted to the base member to a desired height position, and a plurality of arms pivotably mounted to the bracket. Each arm can include a rotating member, such as a roller ball, coupled to a top end of the arm. The plurality of arms can extend from the bracket in a generally upright position and can support the liner thereon in an inside out position so that the application of downward pressure by the appendage of the user within the plurality of arms permits the arms to pivot outward, thereby allowing the plurality of arms and roller balls to slide the liner around the appendage of the user.
