APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING A USER IN A FORWARD-LEANING POSITION WITH FACEPLATE PIVOTABILITY
An apparatus for supporting a user includes a faceplate, an arm, a bridge, and a base. The bridge is rotatably attached to the faceplate to allow the faceplate to be pivotably adjusted. The bridge includes a hub with first and second hub bodies. Locking pins on the hub bodies slidingly engage pivot adjustment holes in first and second pivot adjustment rings. First and second buttons can be depressed to slide the hub bodies inwardly to separate the locking pins from the pivot adjustment holes to allow the hub to rotate, thereby allowing the faceplate to pivot. When the buttons are released, the hub bodies slide outwardly to insert the locking pins into the same or different pivot adjustment holes to prevent the hub from rotating.
PILLOW WITH INDEPENDENT-SUPPORTING STRUCTURE
A pillow has an independent-supporting structure, a headrest cushion, and a supporting cushion. The independent-supporting structure has a supporting plate. The supporting plate has multiple supporting elements disposed at intervals. Each one of the multiple supporting elements is elongated and is able to be independently pressed, to independently restore, and to be independently deformed. The multiple supporting elements are parallelly disposed and apart from one another. The headrest cushion is resilient and is supported by the supporting plate for supporting a head of a human. The supporting cushion is resilient and is disposed below the multiple supporting elements for supporting. When a user rests his head on the pillow, each supporting element is deformed independently to provide independent support to the cervical spine of the user.
Bed divider
A bed divider is disclosed that is positionable atop a mattress to extend between two partners in a co-sleeping arrangement. The bed divider includes a support column that acts a support post, two side arms removably securable to opposite sides of the support column, and a divider removably securable to a third side of the support column to extend generally perpendicularly from the side arms. The divider and the side arms can be composed, in part, of an antibacterial and hypoallergenic material, such that the transmission of infectious diseases may be reduced. The divider and the side arms are sized to fit into a pillowcase, thereby providing a protective layer that is removable and machine washable. The divider and side arms are detachable from the support column, such that each may fit easily into a storage bag.
PILLOW SUPPORT
A pillow support comprising an upper surface and a lower surface, wherein the upper surface is arranged to support a pillow, and wherein the lower surface is configured to be at least in part convex such that the pillow support can rock along the direction of convex curvature when supporting the pillow.
Apparatus For Assisting Sleep
An apparatus for assisting sleep is provided that includes a body, a central groove formed in a center of the body and extending in a first direction, and a plurality of accommodation grooves formed in a symmetrical shape with respect to the central groove and arranged in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, in which the plurality of accommodation grooves is disposed closer to an upper end of the body than a lower end of the body.
Prone position pillow system
A prone position pillow system has a head support portion, an elongated torso component with a cavity, and an insert pillow that can be inserted into the cavity to form an empty space below. The torso component includes a sagittal oriented face hole and an air tunnel having side openings sized and dimensioned to allow a patient to insert hands into the space below the face hole. A travel pillow rests on the head support portion to support a user's face. An adjustable leg elevation component and a cylindrical component support the user's legs in a comfortable position. The head support portion has one or more grooves that can hold a breathing tube. The torso component can have a second cavity designed to create space for the user's genital area.
Pillow with Rod-Shaped Insert
A pillow with a removable rod-shaped insert is described herein. The rod-shaped insert is removably insertable into a cavity and/or trough within the pillow. Both the rod-shaped insert and the cavity and/or trough are substantially semi-circular at each vertically oriented cross-section thereof. The cavity includes an opening in a side of the pillow opposite a side thereof which is in contact with a user's head and/or body. The rod-shaped insert has a plurality of parallel ridges on at least one outer surface thereof and extends between both lateral sides of the pillow.
In some configurations, the rod-shaped insert is a single substantially planar structure which is folded into a substantially semi-circular shape. In some configurations, the rod-shaped insert has an internal removably-insertable structure.
Position adjustment mechanism for lifting balance device
A position adjustment mechanism for a lifting balance device contains: a first cover and an adjustment device. The first cover includes at least one lifting balance device, and each of the at least one lifting balance device includes a first support, a second support intersected with the first support, and a shaft configured to connected the first and second supports. The adjustment device is located bellow the shaft. The adjustment device is fixed inside the first cover, the first cover has a first opening located below the shaft. A threaded sleeve is connected with the first opening and is screwed with a threaded tube, such that the threaded tube is adjustably moved relative to the threaded sleeve so as to change a position of a top of the threaded tube and to limit a lowest descending position of each of the first support and the second support.
Multi-use ergonomic pillow
A multi-use pillow that provides for a shape guided by and contemplated for use in therapeutics, ergonomics, and comfort. The multi-use pillow comprises of an outer shell configured with a first enclosure, a second enclosure, and a channel separating the two enclosures. A first inner pod and a second inner pod are received into the first enclosure and the second enclosure, respectively, and are structured to conform to a size of their respective enclosures. The multi-use pillow may be folded at the channel and allow the pillow to be adapted for use as a stacked pillow or back support.
