FOOD CUTTING ASSEMBLY
A food cutting assembly is described. The food cutting assembly includes a container with an open top configured to receive a food product, a food cutting device configured to fit closely inside of the container and cut the food product, and a lid configured to engage the opening of the container to cover the container. The container and lid are made from a material that is microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. The lid has a plurality of holes proximate its edge for draining water from the food. The food cutting device includes a peripheral frame structure defining an aperture therein, a plurality of cutting members each having an edge for cutting food, located within the support structure and arranged in a lattice across the aperture to define sections between the cutting members, and one or more handles affixed to the peripheral frame structure. The cutting members are disposed vertically within the aperture, with their edges arranged in a plane proximate the bottom of the food cutting device.
Methods, cookware, and cooking appliances for the preparation of small portions of lasagna
Disclosed apparatus and methods make it convenient for small portions of lasagna to be prepared conveniently and quickly. A cooking vessel and its top re described. The internal chamber of the cookware is rectangular, and its internal sidewalls are vertical. Length of the chamber is selected to accommodate layers of lasagna including a single piece of pasta. A foil container is inserted into the chamber, in which the lasagna layers are constructed, and the lasagna is cooked within the vessel and its insert. Walls of the cookware are made of ferromagnetic material such as cast iron and have a thickness that is capable of holding a significant amount of heat, which is transferred conductively to the lasagna during cooking, including pressure cooking. An induction cooking device is disclosed that does not require the cookware to be heated in a conventional oven. The device functions conjointly with the cookware.
PASTA BINDING VESSEL AND METHOD
A pasta binding vessel includes a base, a mating lid, and a closure component. The base is a sheet with shaped troughs. The lid is linear and/or has a shape mirroring the troughs. The vessel binds long pasta together as it cooks, preserving the cohesion of the pasta noodles. A method of producing bonded pasta includes inserting elongated pasta into the pasta binding vessel; closing the pasta binding vessel; submerging the pasta binding vessel into boiling water; cooking the pasta for a predetermined period; removing the pasta binding vessel from the boiling water; cooling the pasta for a predetermined period; opening the pasta binding vessel; and removing the bonded pasta from the pasta binding vessel. The pasta is rigid enough to be cut into manageable pieces and dunked into sauce or used as “edible toothpicks” inserted into items such as meatballs, shrimp, and chicken.
Self-contained electronic boiling and straining system
A cooking and draining system includes: a vessel including a bottom and an upstanding side wall forming an interior region of the vessel and an opening opposite the bottom of the vessel, the vessel further including: a heating element located in one of the bottom and the side wall; a valve located in one of the bottom and the side wall, the valve selectively controlling outflow of fluid from the interior region of the vessel; a lid selectively sealing the opening opposite the bottom of the vessel; and a base selectively coupled to the vessel and selectively causing the heating element to heat the interior region of the vessel.
COMPRESSION TYPE RAMEN COOKER USING INDUCTION HEATER
A compression type ramen cooker according to an embodiment includes a main frame including side plates formed on both sides thereof, an upper main bar connecting the upper portions of the side plates, and a lower main bar connecting the lower portions of the side plates, a cooking vessel part rotatably mounted on the inner sides of the side plates, a compression chamber mounted above the upper main bar to seal or open the cooking vessel part by moving up and down, an induction heater rotatably mounted on the rear side of the cooking vessel part to heat the cooking vessel part, a ramen discharging part for discharging cooked ramen from the cooking vessel part, and a drain mounted in the lower end of the side plates on both sides to discard the water used for cleaning the cooking vessel part after cooking.
COMPRESSION CHAMBER FOR COMPRESSION TYPE RAMEN COOKER
A compression chamber for a compression type ramen cooker is capable of cooking ramen by compression by blocking a discharge of air in a cooking container while cooking ramen. The compression chamber includes a lid, a chamber container having an upper portion on which the lid is mounted and a bottom surface to which the cooking container is coupled to seal the cooking container, a heater installed through the lid and mounted inside the chamber container to heat the water stored in the chamber container, a supply valve unit installed through the lid to supply water to the inside of the chamber container, a discharge valve unit installed through the lid to supply water in the chamber container to the cooking container, and a vapor discharge unit on a lower side of the chamber container to discharge compressed steam inside the cooking container.
One-step noodle forming mechanism with rolling and cutting and a noodle machine integred with producing and cooking
A one-step noodle forming mechanism with rolling and cutting is provided, including multi-layer noodle roller sets in s disposed on a machine frame and noodle forming blades disposed below the multi-layer noodle roller sets, in which the multi-layer noodle roller sets and the noodle forming blades are driven to rotate by the same motor through a gear transmission mechanism. The dough entering the noodle forming mechanism is directly made into noodles through rolling and cutting of multiple layers. A noodle machine integrated with producing and cooking including the noodle forming mechanism is also provided.
NOODLE BOILING APPARATUS
A noodle boiling apparatus includes a noodle boiling unit, and a hot water supply mechanism supplying water, which is heated, to the noodle boiling unit. The noodle boiling unit includes a boiling tank storing the water and boiling noodles, a hot water pipe supplying the water, which is heated, to the boiling tank, and a discharge pipe discharging the water from the boiling tank to the hot water supply mechanism. The hot water supply mechanism includes a heat exchanger heating the water to a desired temperature and a circulation pump pumping the water to the heat exchanger. The hot water supply mechanism is configured to circulate the water constantly between the boiling tank and the hot water supply mechanism when the noodles are boiled.
MACHINE FOR COOKING A DOSE OF PASTA IN A CONTAINER
A machine for cooking a dose of pasta in a container has: a frame comprising an upper structure and a lower structure facing the upper structure; a dispenser, which comprises at least a first opening for delivering steam and at least a second opening for delivering hot water, is supported by the upper structure, and extends from the upper structure towards the lower structure in the space between the upper structure and the lower structure along a longitudinal axis; a reference element, which is supported by the lower structure and is configured to place the container with the top opening in correspondence of the dispenser.
