TOASTER OVEN WITH TACTILE FEEDBACK CONTROL
Embodiments of a heating appliance with control features such as knobs can provide tactile feedback to the user during knob operation. Tactile feedback through the knob, e.g., during rotation in one or more directions, can improve control precision. Beneficial control accuracy features, such as can be utilized during appliance operation and setting of parameters of the heating appliance. A user's desired setting, such as various cooking modes or an off position can therefore be input into the heating appliance with tactile control aspects. A user's desired setting can therefore be accurately set, including with the benefit of tactile control aspects.
AIRFRYING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for preparing food that includes a holder for holding the food and an apparatus. The apparatus includes a processing chamber that is RF-impermeable and air-impermeable, a holding device for holding the holder inside the processing chamber, an RF-antenna to radiate RF-energy to the inside of the processing chamber for heating the food inside the holder, a fan for circulating the air in the processing chamber through an air-permeable side and through the holder, and a heater to provide heat to the circulated air. The fan and the heater are to air fry the food inside the holder. The processing chamber includes a top shell having a top inner space and a top rim forming an access opening to the top inner space, and a bottom shell having a bottom inner space and a bottom rim forming an access opening to the bottom inner space. In a closed position, the top shell and the bottom shell are to envelop an interior space that includes the top inner space and the bottom space. The processing chamber is shaped such that the RF-wave has a node substantially at the top rim and/or the bottom rim in the closed position.
Temperature sensing system for a cooking appliance
A cooking appliance including a temperature sensing system having an upper housing having a first heating surface and a lower housing having a second heating surface includes a temperature sensing probe, a control panel and a control unit in electrical communication with the temperature sensing probe and the control panel. The temperature sensing probe is removably received by the upper housing and extends through the first heating surface. The control panel has one or more input buttons for allowing a user to select at least one input parameter including a desired internal temperature of a food item.
Detachable coupling arrangement for connecting a handle to a utensil
A detachable coupling arrangement (1) for connecting a handle (2) to a utensil comprises a male portion (5), a female portion (4) adapted to receive the male portion (5), and a stop element (6) for preventing movement of the male portion (5) relative to the female portion (4) in an upward direction (A) A first retention element and a resiliently deformable second retention element (8) are configured to cooperate to prevent movement in a downward direction (B) when the female portion (4) is coupled to the male portion (5). The first retention element includes a retention surface and a lower surface (23). The second retention element (8) engages the lower surface (23), as the male portion (5) is received in the female portion (4) in the upward direction, and resiliently deforms so that the second retention element (8) locates over the first retention element and abuts against the retention surface.
Thermally efficient cooking grate
A cooking grate for a grill is provided having substantially hollow rungs in fluid communication with each other and/or with a substantially hollow border to provide improved thermal management and more efficient heat transfer.
Upper plate arrangement for clamshell griddle
A griddle apparatus, includes a lower cooking plate and an upper cooking plate, where the upper cooking plate is mounted for movement relative to the lower cooking plate between a lower cooking position and an upper access position by a biasing arrangement that provides an upward force sufficient to move the upper cooking plate up to the upper access position once the upper cooking plate has been manually moved to a set raised location between the lower cooking position and the upper access position.
GRILL MODULE
Provided is a grill module for cooking an object to be cooked. The grill module includes a lower plate grill on which a flat object to be cooked is placed, an upper plate grill facing the lower plate grill to cook the object to be cooked, and a transfer unit to transfer a guide and a spatula for placing the object to be cooked onto the lower plate grill and taking out a completely cooked object.
Incinerating container for broiling
An incinerating container for grills and similar broilers. The incinerating container receives products of combustion from a gas burner or hot gases from an electric element or other heat source. Apertures in a top of the incinerating container receive oil into the incinerating container, such as oils from melted fat as food cooks. The oils are incinerated within the incinerating container. The apertures formed in the top allow hot oils to enter the incinerating container for combustion of the oils within the incinerating container, and are constructed to prevent flames from materially exiting the incinerating container.
COOKING APPARATUS
A cooking apparatus is provided. The cooking apparatus includes: a cooking chamber to receive a food item, and an infrared lighting unit including one or more infrared light sources to provide infrared radiation to the food item received in the cooking chamber. The infrared lighting unit is positioned such that the food item is exposed to infrared radiation from the one or more infrared light sources. Further, the cooking apparatus includes: a shielding unit including one or more shielding elements respectively positioned between each of the one or more infrared light sources of the infrared lighting unit and the cooking chamber, a first air guiding unit to conduce air flow through the shielding unit, and a second air guiding unit to circulate hot air inside the cooking apparatus to heat the food item received inside the cooking chamber.
ROASTING SYSTEM
A roasting system is provided in a form factor of a countertop roasting device including a blower and a roasting assembly in fluid communication with the blower. The roasting assembly receives air from the blower with a heating element of the roasting assembly producing a heated air stream fed through the roasting assembly. A food product is received in a container of the roasting assembly, with the heated air stream roasting the food product. The system includes a microphone and a controller that adjusts operating characteristics of the system based on whether a shell of the food product has cracked during roasting, as determined with the microphone. A waste product from the food product is separated during roasting and collected in a waste collection assembly with a spray bar assisting with smoke suppression.
