A combination whisk and spatula assembly includes a handle that has a flattened base and the handle is standable in an upright position having the flattened base resting on a horizontal support surface. A whisk is coupled to and extends away from the handle such that the whisk can be manipulated for mixing a fluid food material. A cup extends around the whisk and the cup captures fluid dripping from the whisk when the handle is stood upon the flattened base. A pair of blades is each coupled to the whisk and each of the blades has a curved profile. In this way each of the blades can be scraped against an inside surface of a mixing bowl for removing fluid food material from the inside surface of the mixing bowl.

A microwave whisk assembly for mixing food while in the microwave includes a whisk body having a top end and a bottom end. The bottom end has a receiving cavity extending towards the top end. A suction cup is coupled to the top end and is configured to selectively engage a roof of a microwave. Each of a plurality of whisk attachments includes an engagement shaft and a mixer extension. The engagement shaft has an upper end and a lower end. The engagement shall conforms to, and is selectively engageable with, the receiving cavity of the whisk body. The mixer extension is coupled to the lower end of the engagement shaft and is configured to mix the contents of a bowl rotating within the microwave.

Drinking straw for mixing and drinking beverages

A drinking straw has an outer straw member having a lower portion, an upper portion having a top, and a mixing element, the mixing element having radially expandable and retractable vane members defined by two longitudinal slits, an upper hinge attached to the upper portion and a lower hinge attached to the lower portion and an inner straw member located internal to said outer straw member, the inner straw member having a bottom and a top, wherein the lower portion of the outer straw member is attached to the inner straw member, the outer straw member movable between a retracted position and a deployed position where stop portions of both straw members engage with each other so that the mixing element vane members radially extend away from the inner straw member and wherein the vane members retract when the outer straw member is in its retracted position.

Apparatus for agitating liquid foodstuff

An apparatus for agitating liquid foodstuff, comprising a whisk that includes a magnetic rotor of a brushless electromotor assembly, and a main body including a liquid foodstuff container in which the whisk is receivable such that it is rotatable around a rotation axis thereof, and a stator of the electromotor assembly. The stator is configured to electromagnetically drive the rotor in rotation, and includes at least one magnetic sensor configured to provide a signal that reflects positional changes of the magnetic rotor relative to the magnetic sensor. The main body also includes a controller configured to detect an initial, manually effected rotational movement of the whisk around its rotation axis from the signal of the magnetic sensor, and, once such initial movement of the whisk is detected, to operate the apparatus independent of said initial, movement.
