A salad spinner includes a lid having a pull ring supported thereon and a strainer bowl having a strainer basket supported therein, the strainer basket having a pivotable strainer handle mounted on a chopper. The pull ring is configured to be angularly displaced away from the lid to impart a spinning motion to the strainer basket within the strainer bowl. The strainer handle defines a centrally disposed strainer aperture. The lid has a hex shaft that is removably coupled to the strainer aperture of the strainer handle. The hex drive shaft is further removably coupled to a hex opening of a chopper rod of a chopper. The hex drive shaft initiates the spinning motion to chop salad and to dry salad independently of each other.

A fruit and vegetable cleaning machine is provided, including a machine body. The machine body is provided with a cleaning tank with a top opening, and the cleaning tank is provided with the aeration plate at an inner bottom wall, such that an area enclosed by the aeration top plate portion, the side baffle portion, and the inner bottom wall forms a first dissolving zone for gas and water, and a second dissolving zone for bubbles and water is formed between a periphery of the aeration plate and the cleaning tank.

A fruit and vegetable cleaning machine is provided, including a machine body. The disclosure provides a food elevating platform with adjustable elements to selectively engage the walls of a container. The food elevating platform includes a mesh screen to allow liquids from food to pass through and collect in the bottom of the container. The food elevating platform includes one or more engaging surfaces about the edge of the platform that also may engage the surface of the container. One or more logos and/or text may be incorporated into the food elevating platform and/or its components.

An elevated colander facilitates separating a mixture of solids and fluid while reducing risk of contamination of the solids from backsplash than traditional methods and devices. The colander may be placed into a larger receptacle (e.g., sink) from which fluid may be disposed, and a mixture of solids and fluids may be poured into the colander to isolate the solids from the fluids. Fluids entering the colander may escape through a plurality of holes in outer walls of the colander and spill into the larger receptacle. A lower ring and bottom surface of the elevated colander below the outer walls may each prevent a measure of backsplash from reentering the colander, thereby minimizing contamination of the solids from the larger receptacle. A support structure extending from the bottom surface may elevate the colander and its contents above pooling fluid accumulating below.

A foldable straining and drying apparatus including a first hollow elongated flexible bag including a first open end, a channel formed about a middle section thereof with a collapsible ring formed within the channel and a perforated portion originating adjacent to the channel, and a second bag having an open end detachably attached to a middle section of the perforated portion of the first bag such that the perforated portion remains separated from a bottom of the second bag when the first hollow elongated flexible bag is held up in the air.

A foldable straining and drying apparatus including a first hollow elongated flexible bag including a first open end, a channel formed about a middle section thereof with a collapsible ring formed within the channel and a perforated portion originating adjacent to the channel, and a second bag having an open end detachably attached to a middle section of the perforated portion of the first bag such that the perforated portion remains separated from a bottom of the second bag when the first hollow elongated flexible bag is held up in the air.

The present invention relates to an unattended-cooking rice cooker device in which cooking ingredients such as rice or other grains are supplied, cleaned, and cooked and, more specifically, to an unattended-cooking rice cooker device comprising: a supply unit that divides and stores the cooking ingredients to supply the cooking ingredients; a cleaning unit that receives the cooking ingredients supplied from the supply unit and cleans the cooking ingredients supplied therein while forwardly and backwardly rotating; and a cooking unit including a rice cooker that receives and cooks the cooking ingredients cleaned in the cleaning unit, so as to automatically perform the cleaning and cooking of the ingredients. At the same time, a cleaning drum unit of the cleaning unit can be used as a lid (cap) of the cooking unit including the rice cooker, and thus the number of components can be reduced. In addition, the heat during the cooking is transferred into the cleaning unit to improve hygiene conditions in the cleaning unit.
