Devices, apparatus and systems for preventing towels from slipping off a towel holder are disclosed. The apparatus, devices and systems may include a surface that provides a frictional interface between the towel and towel holder. Two opposing edges of such a device may each include at least one raised or enlarged attachment formation which, when the device is moved from an unraveled condition to an engaged condition, may be aligned and connected to effectively connect the edges to each other. Such a device may further include a plurality of friction formations configured to face and contact a towel and a plurality of ridges configured to face and contact a towel holder when the device is in an engaged condition, surrounding a towel holder and supporting a towel.

The support member includes a first segment, a second segment and a third segment. The apparatus includes a hook member. The hook member includes a shank member mounted to the third segment and an engagement portion extending from the shank member. The engagement portion is adapted to be positioned on a curtain rod, thereby securing the apparatus on the curtain rod. The apparatus secured onto the curtain rod enables a user to simultaneously secure the shower curtain through the hook member and the article to the clip member.

In one embodiment, a towel includes magnets in rows, whereby a folding of the towel aligns some magnets with other magnets and thereby facilitates a hanging of the towel on other objects. The pockets are configured on the towel such that when the towel is folded the pockets are within the folds of the towel to ensure that objects placed in the pockets are secured within the folds of the towel. In certain embodiments, the towel can have two surfaces. One surface can be of a smooth material while the other surface can be of a rough material. In one embodiment, the invention is a foldable piece of material with magnets configured on the piece such that a folding of the piece allows the piece to be hung on an item via the interaction of the magnets.

A towel with an integrated retention tab includes a distal end, opposed sides, and a proximal end that is affixed to a towel. The retention tab is formed of a different material than the towel, and is secured to the towel at an attachment area. The retention tab is configured to be positioned over a portion of the towel that is wrapped around a person's body in order to assist with retaining the towel in a wrapped position around the person's body. For increased securing ability, the retention tab may optionally have tapered edges and/or define a gripping pattern. Furthermore, the retention tab may define a through hole to allow the retention tab and the affixed towel to be hung for drying and/or storage purposes.
