Refill for a dispenser, bearing unit and dispenser
Refill for a dispenser, with a material web wound to form a roll and at least one substantially axially adjustable bearing journal. The at least one substantially axially adjustable bearing journal is adjustable substantially axially outwards away from the roll starting from a defined inner end position in which it protrudes axially beyond the roll. A bearing unit for such a refill, and a dispenser for housing the refill and dispensing the material web are also provided.
PRODUCTS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING TOILET PAPER CONSUMPTION
A toilet paper roll includes toilet paper wrapped to define a central opening having an interior diameter. The toilet paper is scored to form sheets. Each sheet has a width in a range of 2 inches to 3.6 inches. A toilet paper roll adapter includes a first portion to engage an interior diameter of a roll of toilet paper roll and a second portion concentric with the first portion. The second portion has a radius greater than the interior diameter of the toilet paper roll and adapts the width of the toilet paper.
Support bar for a dispenser and dispensing system
A support bar for a material web wound onto a roll. The support bar has, on each end, a bearing journal which is arranged on the longitudinal axis thereof. At least one of the two bearing journals is provided with a fitting surface which is not designed as a rotational surface and is rotatably arranged on the support bar. The bearing journal can be inserted into a guide of a dispenser. The guide is continuous from the insertion position to the dispensing position.
DISPENSER FOR DISPENSING WEB MATERIAL FROM A ROLL
Dispenser for dispensing web material from a roll, the dispenser including a housing and a spindle intended to rotatably support a roll of web material during dispensing. The spindle is movable between a loading position and a dispensing position. The dispenser further includes a deflecting member being movable between a protruding position protruding towards the spindle in dispensing position and a retracted position retracted into the housing away from the spindle in dispensing position. The deflecting member is connected to a blocking member moving in response to the movement of the deflecting member.
DISPENSER FOR DISPENSING WEB MATERIAL FROM A ROLL
Dispenser for dispensing web material from a roll, the dispenser including a housing defining an interior of the dispenser and an arm hinged at a hinge point to a support member. The arm is adapted to pivot about the hinge point. The dispenser further includes a spindle attached perpendicular to the arm. The spindle is adapted to rotatably support a roll during dispensing. The arm is pivotable between a first position in which the spindle is arranged in a dispensing position within the housing of the dispenser and a second position in which the spindle is arranged in a loading position outside the housing of the dispenser in order to allow loading of a roll onto the spindle.
PAPER ROLL DISPENSER
A dispenser for rolled paper includes a shell mounted to a spindle assembly which is mounted to a wall for convenient access in a bathroom or other facility. The dispenser also includes a lid assembly mounted to the shell and spindle assembly for rotational or pivotal movement to and between closed and open configurations. When in the closed configuration, a free edge of the paper roll may be pulled from the roll and the roll rotates on the spindle assembly for dispensing the paper. The paper roll may be inspected and/or replaced by rotation of the lid assembly about a pivot pin to an open configuration. Cooperating cam and cam surfaces and the bias of a spring on the pivot pin urge the lid assembly away from the shell during rotation toward the open configuration to allow for proper clearance and positioning of the lid assembly relative to the shell.
Rolled web material dispenser material lockout systems
A lockout system that limits use of a rolled web material dispenser assembly to dispense only authorized rolls of web material. The lockout system includes a hub and an insert that cooperate with one another to define mating registration elements that removeably cooperate with one another and provide a rotational cooperation therebetween when engaged with one another. The insert is shaped to be received in a bore of discrete authorized roll of web material. In one embodiment, the insert includes an overlapping portion formed between opposing ends of the insert and preferably between rotational bearing surfaces associated therewith. In another embodiment, the hub supported by the dispenser is moveable relative to the dispenser and renders the hub unavailable for operative cooperation with inserts that are not configured for cooperation therewith.
Dispenser
A sheet dispenser system having a roll of sheet material and a housing to receive the roll. The roll of sheet material comprises a first end portion incorporating a key, and the housing comprises a mounting portion arranged to support the first end portion of the roll. The mounting portion comprises a lock arrangement which is movable between a locked condition and a free condition. The lock arrangement comprises a rotatable element configured for rotation about an axis, and a locking element configured for engagement with the rotatable element to inhibit rotation of the rotatable element, such that, when the locking element and the rotatable element are engaged, the lock arrangement occupies the locked condition, and when the locking element and the rotatable element are disengaged, the lock arrangement occupies the free condition. The mounting portion is arranged such that the roll is movable between an engaged condition, in which the key engages the mounting portion, and a disengaged condition, in which the key is disengaged from the mounting portion, such that, when the roll is moved from the disengaged to the engaged condition, the first end portion of the roll moves the lock arrangement into the free condition, thereby permitting rotation of the rotatable element. The locking element and the rotatable element are configured for engagement by relative movement of the locking element and the rotatable element towards each other in a direction along the axis of rotation of the rotatable element.
Rolled web material dispenser material lockout systems
A lockout system that is configured to limit use of a rolled web material dispenser assembly to dispense only authorized rolls of web material. The lockout system includes respective first and second mating registration elements that removeably cooperate with one another and provide a rotational cooperation therebetween when engaged with one another. One of the registration elements is associated with each authorized roll of web material and the mating registration element is associated with the rolled web material dispenser assembly. The first registration element defines an insert engaged with a bore of discrete authorized rolls of web material. The corresponding and mating second registration element defines a hub that is supported by the roll dispenser. Mating of the first and second registration elements provides a rotatable linkage that facilitates rotation of the roll relative to the dispenser assembly during the dispense activity.
