Sheet product dispensers and related methods for reducing sheet product usage
A resistance mechanism for a sheet product dispenser for dispensing a length of sheet product from a roll of sheet product rotatably supported by the sheet product dispenser is provided. The resistance mechanism includes an arm configured to frictionally engage a surface of the roll of sheet product, and a spring attached to the arm and configured to bias the arm into engagement with the surface of the roll of sheet product, such that the resistance mechanism provides a pull force resistance opposing a pull force applied to a tail portion of the roll of sheet product.
Support spindle assembly for a roll
A support spindle assembly for rotatably supporting a coreless paper roll for dispensing, the support spindle assembly including a spindle base, a spindle element having a central longitudinal axis (X) and having first and second ends, the spindle element being attached to the spindle base at the first end and rotationally fixed in relation to the spindle base and a rotatable sleeve rotatably disposed about the spindle element, and rotatable in relation to the spindle base and to the spindle element. The support spindle assembly includes a resilient member disposed about the first end of the spindle element, which resilient member is arranged to cooperate with the spindle base and with the rotatable sleeve in order to provide the rotatable sleeve with a rotational resistance.

Wipes dispensers having multiple wipe contact points
Embodiments of dispensers for dispensing wet wipes are disclosed herein. An exemplary wipes dispenser includes a container, having an opening, a cap, and a first wipe engagement member. The first wipes engagement member includes an opening therethrough. The first wipes engagement member is configured to provide sufficient force on a wipe to prevent the wipe from falling back into the container. A second wipes engagement member is also included. The second wipes engagement member located away from the first wipes engagement member. The second wipes engagement member includes a pull through portion and a grip portion. An access point is located between the first wipes engagement member and the second wipes engagement member. The access point configured to allow a user to grip a lead edge of a wipe as the wipe is threaded through the first wipes engagement member.
Sheet product dispenser
A dispenser comprising a body, a dispensing device having an orifice, a gate configured to move between a first position and a second position with respect to the orifice, a biasing device to bias the gate towards the first position, and a dampener coupled to the gate and configured to impede the biasing device from biasing the gate towards the first position to delay, in time, the gate from moving from the second position to the first position; and wherein in the first position the gate engages the sheets passing through the orifice with enough force to break a perforation separating two contiguous sheets of the series to cause single sheet dispensing; and the delay allows multiple sheets of the series of interconnected sheets to pass through the orifice, when pulled at a given rate, before the gate moves from the second position to the first position.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING CORELESS ROLL PAPER
A method for producing coreless roll paper includes a winding step in which paper 11 is wound on a shaft 20 in a roll shape, and an extracting step in which the shaft 20 is extracted from roll paper 12 to form a center hole 13. The shaft 20 includes a body part 22 having grooves 23, and a sleeve 30 is put on and fixed to the body part 22. In the winding step, the paper 11 is wound on the sleeve 30.
CENTER FEED ROLL DISPENSING APPARATUS
A center feed roll dispensing apparatus including: a roll support that extends in a first direction from a first end to a second end; an end wall located in the first direction with respect to the first end of the roll support, the end wall comprising a dispensing aperture; and a roll stop located in the first direction with respect to the first end of the roll support and spaced from the end wall.
CORELESS ROLL OF ABSORBENT SHEET AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A coreless roll of an absorbent sheet product, such as napkins, toilet paper, towels etc., including a spirally wound continuous web of absorbent material having a first end and a second end and a coating composition comprising a specific polymer coated onto the second end is disclosed. The coreless roll has excellent resistance to collapsing, as well as excellent flexibility and elasticity. Moreover, the coreless roll has excellent disintegrability in water and can be used along its whole length. Also disclosed is a process for the manufacture of the coreless roll.
SENSING ARRANGEMENT FOR A DISPENSER
A sensing arrangement for indicating the depletion of a coreless roll of absorbent paper web material in a dispenser, the sensing arrangement includes a roll support for supporting an inner circumference of the coreless roll, the roll support extending along a longitudinal center axis, the roll support comprising at least one roll expanding portion extending over a part of the roll support length and having a maximum radial extension defining a first radius from the center axis, and at least one sensing portion, extending longitudinally over another part of the roll support length and having a maximum radial extension defining a second radius from the center axis, wherein the first radius is greater than the second radius by a sensing offset length, and a sensing element arranged to sense at the sensing portion the amount of web material remaining on the roll when arranged over the roll support length.
Dispenser for static center-feed coreless roll of sheet product
A sheet product dispenser for dispensing a strip of a sheet product from a static center-feed coreless roll of sheet product is disclosed. The roll includes a central cavity. The dispenser includes a container for accommodating the roll, and a dispensing piece which protrudes toward an interior of the container from one end of the container and which includes a guidance between a receiving opening for receiving the strip of sheet product from the roll and a dispensing opening for dispensing the strip of sheet product outside of the dispenser. The dispensing piece is arranged to engage into the central cavity of the roll. The dispensers provide a dispensing opening so that withdrawal of a sheet product is facilitated by avoiding collapsing or clogging. Furthermore, the dispenser has a compact configuration that gains space during delivery and transportation.
