Wet/dry sheet dispenser with dispensing cup

A wet/dry sheet dispenser. The dispenser has an elongate refill which holds a liquid and fits into a complementary base. Liquid is selectively dispensed from the refill by longitudinal activation of a pump. The pump may be disposed on either the refill or base. Liquid flows from the refill, upwardly to a dispensing cup. The user may then, optionally, take a sheet and wet it with liquid from the cup at the point of use. This arrangement allows for convenient and selective one hand pump operation, so the other hand is free to grasp the sheet. The sheet may be used wet or dry as desired at the point of use.

Device and Related Compositions and Methods for Use in Surface Decontamination

The representative examples are intended to help illustrate the invention, and are not intended to, nor should they be construed to, limit the scope of the invention. Indeed, various modifications of the invention and many further embodiments thereof, in addition to those shown and described herein, will become apparent to those skilled in the art from the full contents of this document, including the examples and the references to the scientific and patent literature included herein. The examples contain important additional information, exemplification and guidance that can be adapted to the practice of this invention in its various embodiments and equivalents thereof.

Device and related compositions and methods for use in surface decontamination

Devices are provided for applying an indicator composition and, optionally, a disinfectant composition to an article being dispensed through the device. The device includes a housing at least partially surrounding an interior volume and having a wall defining a dispensing aperture extending through the wall, a reservoir having at least one chamber sized to contain an indicator composition, and an application mechanism positioned within the housing relative to the dispensing aperture. The reservoir optionally has a second chamber sized to contain a disinfectant composition. The application mechanism is configured to be in fluid communication with the reservoir to apply an amount of the indicator composition and the optional disinfectant composition from the reservoir to an article dispensed through the dispensing aperture. Related compositions, articles, and methods are provided.

DRY NONWOVEN ANTIBACTERIAL ARTICLE

The invention relates to the field of individual hygiene and in particular disinfecting nonwoven articles. A dry antibacterial article comprising at least a dispersible nonwoven layer is characterized in that unprotected and dry bacterial spores are spread within the nonwoven layer, said spores being selected to specifically inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria upon reactivation. The invention further relates to the use of the antibacterial article, a dispenser for wipes made from the article as well as manufacturing processes.

WIPE DISPENSING

Devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure are directed to dispensing wipes that are treated as the wipes move through a housing of a dispenser. Such in situ treatment of the wipes may facilitate, for example, achieving control over one or more of the concentration, composition, or distribution of one or more chemicals carried by the wipes. Further, or instead, the one or more chemicals may be formed within the housing (e.g., just prior to treating the wipes), which may be useful for treating the wipes with chemicals that have limited stability and/or for reducing chemical handling requirements along a supply chain.
