A power management system for a dispenser that includes a passive infrared radiation sensor arranged along the dispenser and configured to detect infrared radiation emitted by one or more users within a prescribed detection range, area, or zone of the dispenser. When the passive infrared radiation sensor does not capture infrared radiation within the prescribed detection range, area, or zone, the dispenser is placed in a low power state with the passive infrared sensor remaining connected to a power source and a controller, a dispensing mechanism, and/or the proximity sensor being disconnected from the power source. Other aspects also are described.

PAPER DISPENSER

A paper dispenser includes a base, paper dispensing portion and cover. The paper dispensing portion has two support members and a paper dispensing unit. The paper dispensing unit has an auxiliary roller, paper dispensing roller, swing unit and paper dispensing cutter disposed at the swing unit. The paper dispensing cutter swings between the inside and outside of a receiving groove of the paper dispensing roller. The support members each have a roll resilient positioning unit, arcuate pivotal connection unit and cam guide groove surrounding the pivotal connection unit and being closed. Two sides of the paper dispensing roller are pivotally disposed at one end of the pivotal connection unit. The guide unit is movably disposed at the cam guide groove. The cover is pivotally disposed at the base and has a paper discharge hole. The paper dispensing portion is disposed between the cover and base.

Automated wetted or dry sheet product dispensers

An example sheet product dispenser includes a housing with a base portion and a loading door. A motor drives a base portion roller or a loading door roller to cause dispensing of the sheet product along a sheet product path and through an outlet. A pump is in fluid communication with a liquid reservoir and a spray mechanism, and is configured to cause liquid from the reservoir to spray onto the sheet product through the spray mechanism prior to dispensing. A controller is configured to determine whether to operate in either a dry mode or a wet mode based on user input provided. When in the dry mode, the controller causes the motor to operate to dispense dry sheet product. When in the wet mode, the controller causes the motor to operate and the pump to operate to dispense wetted sheet product.

DISPENSER WITH CAPABILITY TO DISPENSE TISSUE PRODUCTS OF MORE THAN ONE VARIANT

A dispensing system can include a dispenser. The dispenser can include a dispenser housing configured to hold a supply of substrate. The dispensing system can include an actuation mechanism configured to provide a length of substrate as a tissue product. The dispensing system can be configured to produce and dispense tissue products of more than one variant. The more than one variant of tissue products can be distinguished from one another by at least one characteristic of the tissue products. The dispensing system can be configured to dispense a tissue product of a particular variant of the more than one variant of tissue products based on input independent of user interaction with the dispensing system.

The devices may be powered by a battery pack or may receive power from a wall outlet.

WET SHEET DISPENSING DEVICE

A wet sheet with a predetermined length is securely provided while drying is prevented. When a motor control part receives a detection signal from a hand hovering sensor, a motor is driven from a standby state to rotate a driving roller. When a cutting line is detected by a cutting line detecting sensor, the driving of the motor is continued until a predetermined time set beforehand in which the detected cutting line reaches the side downstream of a contact point between the driving roller and a driven roller in terms of the feeding direction has elapsed, to be stopped. The detected cutting line is located downstream of the contact point between the driving roller and the driven roller in terms of the feeding direction. In front of the detected cutting line, the wet sheet for one sheet is present and is detected by the sheet detecting sensor.
