Device for securing poles at the edge of a vessel or a swimming pool
A pole for a swimming pool comprises a tool for swimming pool maintenance located at one end of the pole and a device for preventing the pole from sliding into the swimming pool. The device comprises a face that surrounds the pole generally perpendicular to the pole and a baffle that extends from the outside edge of the face generally parallel to the pole. The device prevents the pole from sliding into the swimming pole by a user placing the baffle on a surface at the edge of the swimming pool.

TOOL FOR CLEANING SURFACES
A tool for cleaning a surface is provided. The tool includes a body and a first cover. The first cover is slidably coupled to the body between a first position and a second position, the first cover having a first leading edge. A second cover is slidably coupled to the body and movable between the first position and the second position, the second cover having a second leading edge adjacent the first leading edge. A blade is coupled to the body and being disposed between the first cover and the second cover when in the first position and at least partially extending outward from the first leading edge and second leading edge when in the second position.

COATED SCRUBBING DEVICE WITH A PROTECTIVE HANDLE
A coated scrubbing device with a protective handle is disclosed by this invention. The protective handle protects the fingernails, knuckles and digits of a user during use. The protective handle is flexible and malleable. The user grips the protective handle and rolls it over their fingernails, digits, upper knuckles and lower knuckles and tucks their thumb either behind or in front of the handle. The protective handle then protects the user's fingernails, knuckles and digits during use. The coated scrubbing device with a protective handle has a coating material which completely coats it. The coated scrubbing device or scouring material impregnated into part or all of the coating material or an attached accessory pad which can scrub or scour surfaces.

Cleaning device
A holder for a cleaning pad or the like can include a base and one or more features to inhibit damage to a surface adjacent a surface being cleaned. For example, the holder can include a lip extending downwardly from an edge of the base along one or more sides to inhibit the pad from being coupled to the holder so that the pad extends beyond the edge of the base. The holder can also include one or more contacting features extending outwardly from the base on the side(s) including the lip to space the base and lip from the adjacent surface during use. The contacting features can be one or more wheels horizontally disposed on a top surface of the base.
