DOMESTIC DISHWASHING MACHINE AND METHOD
A household dishwasher includes a dishwasher cavity for receiving an item to be washed, a hydraulic circuit configured to circulate fresh water and/or wash liquor in the dishwasher cavity, a pump device configured to apply fresh water and/or wash liquor to the hydraulic circuit, and a closure manufactured from a water-soluble material. The closure is configured to disconnect part of the hydraulic circuit from the pump device during a one-time calibration process of the household dishwasher and dissolves in the fresh water and/or the wash liquor during and/or after completion of the calibration process.
SYSTEM COMPRISING A DISHWASHER, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER
A system includes a dishwasher accommodating an item to be washed, a control device carrying out a washing program of a number of washing programs for washing the item, an optical sensor acquiring an optical sensor signal of the item, and a determining unit determining a possibility for washing the item as a function of the acquired sensor signal. The possibility for washing is embodied as a first positive possibility for washing that specifies which one of the washing programs is useable to wash the item, or as a second positive possibility for washing that specifies which one of the washing programs and/or which of a number of aids are useable to wash the item, or as a negative possibility for washing that specifies that the dishwasher is unsuitable for washing the item. An output unit outputs a recommendation to a user based on the possibility being determined for washing.
DISHWASHER WITH OBJECT RECOGNITION
A dishwasher comprises an image sensor, first and second drawers, first and second actuators configured to respectively extend or retract the first and second drawers, and a computer system. The computer system is configured to receive images from the image sensor, determine whether an object is within a threshold distance, and in response to determining that an object is moved to within the threshold distance, use a washwear recognition system to determine whether the object comprises an washwear item. A determined washwear type and a washwear dimension are used to identify an unoccupied location in of a size and configured suitable to receive the washwear item. In response to identifying an unoccupied location of a size and configured suitable to receive the washwear item, an actuator among the first actuator and the second actuator is caused to extend a corresponding drawer to thereby receive the item of dishware.
CUSTOMIZING CLEANING CYCLES
A method includes receiving, at an artificial intelligence (AI) accelerator of a computing system, image data of one or more objects from an image sensor and performing an AI operation on the image data at the AI accelerator of the computing system using an AI model. The method further includes determining a custom cleaning cycle at the AI accelerator in response to performing the AI operation.
Dishwasher and method of operation with settings influenced by food preparation
A dishwasher can be included in a home network and can be utilized to complete a cycle of operation. The dishwasher includes a controller capable of automatically determining treating at least one cycle parameter based on the communication of at least one aspect of a recipe. The at least one aspect of a recipe can be wirelessly provided to a computer system that is in communication with the dishwasher. The computer system can be the controller or any known computer system in communication with the dishwasher.
Spot detection assembly for a dishwasher appliance
A dishwasher appliance includes a cabinet having a wash chamber for receipt of articles for cleaning, a rack assembly slidably received into the wash chamber and configured for the receipt of the articles, and a fluid dispensing assembly for dispensing a fluid onto the articles in the rack assembly during operation of the dishwasher appliance. Further, the dishwasher appliance includes a spot detection assembly. The spot detection assembly includes a transparent component and an imaging device arranged adjacent to the transparent component. As such, the imaging device is configured to detect one or more fluid spots on the transparent component, which is indicative of fluid spots being present on the articles.
HIGH SPEED REUSABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER WASHING SYSTEM WITH CONCENTRIC HOUSING MEMBERS
A beverage container washing system may be used for rapid washing and/or sanitizing of beverage containers, e.g., for use in a retail environment to wash and/or sanitize customer-provided beverage containers prior to filling the beverage containers with purchased beverages, among other applications. The beverage container washing system may include multiple concentric housing members supported on a base, with each having one or more openings that may be selectively aligned through driven movement of at least one of the concentric housing members to provide access to a wash chamber.
DISHWASHER, ARRANGEMENT HAVING A DISHWASHER, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER
A dishwasher includes a controller for executing a washing program for washing a dirty item to be washed, and a receiving unit for receiving a sensor signal indicative of a dirt type adhering to the dirty item to be washed from a plurality of dirt types, with each of the dirt types being determined by a dirt parameter matrix, in which each position is assigned to a dirt parameter. A determining unit determines the dirt type adhering to the dirty item to be washed as a function of the received sensor signal, with the controller executing the washing program as a function of the determined dirt type.
DISHWASHER, IN PARTICULAR IN THE FORM OF A COUNTER MODULE FOR A COUNTER SYSTEM
A dishwasher (1) for cleaning washware items (2) in the form of drinking vessels is configured as a counter module of a counter system and includes at least one treatment zone (3) having a placement area (4) associated with the treatment zone (3) and a removal area (5) associated with the treatment zone (3), wherein the washware item (2) can be placed into the treatment zone (3) via the placement area (4) and the cleaned washware item (2) can be removed from the treatment zone (3) via the removal area (5), wherein the placement area (4) and the removal area (5) are disposed opposite one another with the interposition of the treatment zone (3). At least one bracket (15) is provided in the treatment zone (3) for in releasably securing and/or positioning the washware item (2) placed onto a placement surface (20) in the treatment zone (3).
SYSTEM COMPRISING A DISHWASHER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER
A system includes a dishwasher including a receptacle for an item to be washed, and a control device for carrying out a washing program, which can be parameterized by a number of different washing program parameters. An image-capturing device captures an image of the receptacle and an image analysis unit classifies the item to be washed in the receptacle in dependence on the captured image of the receptacle and to output a classification result to the control device. The control device is designed to parameterize the washing program depending on the classification result.
