Fluid circulation system for dishwasher appliances
Fluid circulation systems for dishwasher appliances are provided. A dishwasher appliance includes a tub that defines a wash chamber. A fluid circulation system includes a sump for receiving fluid from the wash chamber, the sump comprising a chamber having a sidewall and a base wall. The fluid circulation system further includes a pump, the pump including an impeller disposed within the chamber. The fluid circulation system further includes a filter disposed within the chamber and surrounding the impeller, the filter including a sidewall, the sidewall defining a plurality of perforations extending therethrough. In some embodiments, a volume within the filter is greater than a volume between the sidewall of the chamber and the sidewall of the filter for a given height from the base wall. In some embodiments, volumes of the plurality of perforations increase along a height from the base wall.
ALTERNATING PUMP DIRECTION FOR FLUID DETECTION
A domestic appliance and a method at the domestic appliance for detecting presence of process water in a pump of the domestic appliance are provided. The method of detecting process water in a pump of a domestic appliance may include operating the pump to rotate in a first direction, recording a first response of the pump rotating in the first direction based on a measured pump operation parameter, operating the pump to rotate in a second direction, and recording a second response of the pump rotating in the second direction based on the measured pump operation parameter. The method may further include comparing the first response and the second response, and determining the presence of water in the pump based on the comparison of the first and second response.
LOWER RACK FOR A DOMESTIC DISHWASHER HAVING A LOWER-RACK RAISING MEANS
A lower rack for a domestic dishwasher is constructed for being liftable and includes a fixed lower rack element, and a removable lower rack element connectable to the fixed lower rack element and constructed for removal from the fixed lower rack element to thereby unblock access to a bottom area of a washing container of the domestic dishwasher.
Filter assembly for a dishwasher appliance
A filter assembly for filtering wash fluid to be recirculated by a circulation pump in a dishwasher appliance is provided. The filter assembly includes a first filter member and a second filter member. The first filter member defines a first filter panel and the second filter member defines a second filter panel. The first filter panel is spaced from the second filter panel along an axial direction of the filter assembly and is configured in series flow with the second filter panel. More particularly, the first and second filter panels are configured such that wash fluid is filtered by the first filter panel and by the second filter panel prior to being recirculated by the circulation pump.
DOMESTIC DISHWASHER
A household dishwasher includes a washing container holding a dishwasher load, and a spray arm for applying washing liquor and/or fresh water to the dishwasher load. The spray arm is mounted for rotation about an axis of rotation and is actively driven by a drive entity. The drive entity includes a drive shaft mounted for rotation about an axis of rotation which extends in parallel relation to and at a distance from the axis of rotation of the spray arm.
MOBILE DISHWASHER
A mobile dishwasher comprises a washer having a nozzle for discharging a cleaning fluid, and a first cart being configured to be detachably coupled to the washer. The first cart comprises two or more side-openings for receiving soiled utensils before being coupled to the washer.
Dishwasher
A dishwasher includes a washing tub defining a space that is configured to receive dishes to be washed by wash water, a sump configured to receive and collect wash water flowing from the washing tub, a filter unit disposed at the sump and configured to filter the wash water flowing from the washing tub to the sump, and a cap configured to prevent the wash water received in the sump from flowing from the filter unit to the washing tub.
Dishmachine
The present disclosure relates to a dishmachine that includes one or more features directed to water, energy or material savings. The disclosed dishmachines are still capable of meeting the soil demands of the articles to be cleaned.
Washing appliance having a recirculation circuit
A method of treating at least one of laundry or dishes in a treating chamber of an appliance comprising, recirculating liquid through the treating chamber, centrifugally removing particles greater than a predetermined size from the liquid during recirculation of the liquid, and coagulating particles greater than the predetermined size in the liquid during recirculation of the liquid.
System and method for washing items
A system and method for washing items with water includes a water inlet and a container for receiving the items to be washed. The system comprises a water purification apparatus for purifying water introduced through said water inlet to produce purified water. The water purification apparatus comprises at least one filter for filtering off particulate solids, a reverse osmosis device, and at least one deionizing filter. The system further comprises a reservoir for storing purified water produced by the water purification apparatus, said reservoir being connected to said water purification apparatus and said container, so that the items are washable inside the container with the purified water.
