Water-conducting household appliance and method for operation thereof
A water-conducting household appliance has a closable treatment chamber, in order to treat articles therein, at least one chamber water inlet into the treatment chamber, at least one sump under said treatment chamber, a coarse particle filter for separating coarse particles having a size ≥5 mm from water exiting from the sump, wherein the coarse particle filter has a coarse particle filter inlet, a coarse particle filter water outlet and a coarse particle filtrate outlet. According to the invention, exactly one pump having a pump inlet and a pump outlet is provided for the entire household appliance, said pump being connected downstream of the sump and the coarse particle filter water outlet. Water lines, valve devices and a discharge outlet from the household appliance are also provided, wherein a water line leads from the coarse particle filter water outlet to the pump or to the pump inlet.
Turbidity Sensor Assembly Including an Integral Water Level Indicator
A turbidity sensor assembly for a dishwasher appliance is provided. The turbidity sensor assembly measures the turbidity of wash fluid in a manner similar to conventional turbidity sensors, but also includes an integral water level indicator. The water level indicator is an opaque buoyant ball that rises and falls with the water level to provide a water level indication that can be used to shut off the drain pump when the sump is empty. More specifically, when the water level drops below a predetermined level, the opaque ball blocks the transmission of light between the emitter and receiver of the turbidity sensor, thus indicating that the sump is almost empty. As a result, the pump operating during a drain cycle need only operate long enough to drain the sump, and this may be achieved without an additional measuring device or complicated control system.
DOMESTIC DISHWASHING MACHINE AND METHOD
A household dishwasher includes a dishwasher cavity for receiving an item to be washed, a hydraulic circuit configured to circulate fresh water and/or wash liquor in the dishwasher cavity, a pump device configured to apply fresh water and/or wash liquor to the hydraulic circuit, and a closure manufactured from a water-soluble material. The closure is configured to disconnect part of the hydraulic circuit from the pump device during a one-time calibration process of the household dishwasher and dissolves in the fresh water and/or the wash liquor during and/or after completion of the calibration process.
Dishwasher comprising a fruit and vegetable washing apparatus
The present invention relates to a dishwasher for washing fruits and vegetables with less water and minimum energy use. The dishwasher (M) comprises main body; first basket (S); bottom area (1) in which there are provided two-way valve (1a), first channel (1b) and second channel (1c); washing compartment (2) comprising third channel (2a), first water outlet (2b), second water outlet (2c) and drainage connection unit (2d); fruit and vegetable washing apparatus (F) located on the first basket (S) and comprising chamber (4) in which fruits and vegetables are washed, carrying member (2) providing connection to the first basket (S) and one side of which is connected with lower side of the chamber (4), first water inlet (7) through which water reaching the first water outlet (2b) is transmitted into the carrying member (2), second water inlet (8) transmitting water from the second water outlet (2c) into the chamber (4); and control unit which controls operation of the valve (1a) such that water is transmitted to the second channel (1c) for washing fruits and vegetables or to the first channel (1b) for washing dishes inside the dishwasher (M), in response to the user-selected washing program of the dishwasher (M).
Dishwasher and method for operating a dishwasher
A dishwasher includes a pump device operated by a pump current for supply of washing liquor to a first spray device via a first hydraulic arrangement for providing a first washing zone and to a second spray device via a second hydraulic arrangement for providing a second washing zone. A third spray device is connected to one of the first and second hydraulic arrangements for providing an intensive washing zone. In a first switching state, the third spray device is isolated from the one hydraulic arrangement, and in a second switching state the third spray device is connected to the one hydraulic arrangement. A control device determines a current switching state of the third spray device as a function of a difference between the pump current when washing liquor is supplied to the first hydraulic arrangement and when washing liquor is supplied to the second hydraulic arrangement.
DISHWASHER HAVING A HEAT EXCHANGER
A dishwashing machine comprising a tub, a sump, a first water tank, a second water tank and a heat exchanger. The sump is fluidly coupled to the tub. The first water tank is directly fluidly coupled to a water supply external the dishwashing machine and having a fresh water. The second water tank includes a singular inlet that is selectively fluidly coupled to the first water tank through the sump. The heat exchanger is located inside the first water tank.
Dishwasher with high-velocity sprayer
A dishwasher for treating dishes according to a cycle of operation, the dishwasher comprising a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber, a dish rack received within the treating chamber and configured for receiving dishes for treatment during the cycle of operation, a sprayer located within the treating chamber and above the dish rack, and emitting a liquid onto the dish rack to form a high-speed spray.
Dishwasher with multi-level dishwasher rack
A dishwasher may utilize a multi-level dishwasher rack that in some instances may be reconfigurable into different configurations to optimize the rack for different types and/or combinations of utensils. A movable divider may be used in some instances to selectively expose a deep portion of a rack, and a drawer may be used in some instances to provide access utensils stored underneath a divider. A movable portion of a bottom of a rack may also be used in some instances to provide different support surfaces in the rack at different elevations. A tubular spray element or another rotatable spray tube may also be positioned relative to a multi-level dishwasher rack in some instances to facilitate concentrated washing of different facing surfaces of different utensils stored in the rack.
Dishwasher appliance water valve mounting bracket
A water valve bracket for a dishwasher appliance is provided. The dishwasher appliance includes a base rail having a curvilinear cross-sectional shape. The water valve bracket includes a curvilinear flange which is configured to mount on the base rail with the curvilinear flange in contact with the base rail. A curvature of the curvilinear flange of the water valve bracket conforms to the curvilinear cross-sectional shape of the base rail.
DISHWASHER WITH MULTI-LEVEL DISHWASHER RACK
A dishwasher may utilize a multi-level dishwasher rack that in some instances may be reconfigurable into different configurations to optimize the rack for different types and/or combinations of utensils.
