SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING A SOUS-VIDE COOKING CYCLE IN A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
A method of controlling a dishwashing appliance may include determining that a cooking operation has been input to the dishwashing appliance via a mobile device, receiving an input option for the cooking operation via the mobile device, and activating the pump to supply a predetermined volume of fluid to the container at a predetermined temperature.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING A SOUS-VIDE COOKING CYCLE IN A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
A dishwashing appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber, a pump configured to deliver a liquid into the wash chamber, a spray assembly provided within the wash chamber, conduit in fluid communication with the spray assembly, a rack slidably provided within the wash chamber, container attached to the rack and in fluid communication with the conduit, and a controller in communication with the pump and the spray assembly. The controller is configured to perform a series of operations, including determining that a cooking operation has been input to the dishwashing appliance, activating the pump to supply the liquid to the container at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined amount of time such that an amount of liquid within the container is above a first predetermined amount, and deactivating the pump after the predetermined amount of time.
FAUCET WITH UTENSIL FLUSHING MECHANISM
A faucet with a utensil flushing mechanism comprises a faucet mechanism, a water inlet mechanism, and the utensil flushing mechanism. The faucet mechanism comprises a tube body and a first water passage disposed at least partially in the tube body. The water inlet mechanism is connected to the first water passage. The utensil flushing mechanism is disposed on the faucet mechanism and comprises a nozzle configured to be in communication with the water inlet mechanism. The utensil flushing mechanism is movably disposed on the tube body, and the nozzle is configured to be controlled to be in different positions through movement of the utensil flushing mechanism.
DISH WASHER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A dish washer includes a cabinet; a tub in the cabinet; a sump underneath the tub; a case brake on a side wall of the tub and connected to the sump; a water supply valve connected to an external water supply source; a filter assembly between the water supply valve and the case brake and including a plurality of flow path valves to open or close a plurality of flow paths corresponding to the plurality of flow path valves to guide water supplied from the external water supply source to the case brake; and a processor configured to open the water supply valve and one of the plurality of flow path valves at different points in time to start supplying the water and close the water supply valve and the one of the plurality of flow path valves at different points in time to stop the supplying of the water.
HIGH SPEED REUSABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER WASHING SYSTEM
A beverage container washing system may be used for rapid washing and/or sanitizing of beverage containers, e.g., for use in a retail environment to wash and/or sanitize customer-provided beverage containers prior to filling the beverage containers with purchased beverages, among other applications. Separate entrance and exit openings may be provided in some instances to minimize employee interaction with unwashed customer beverage containers.
AUXILIARY GRAY WATER SOURCE DEVICE FOR COMMERCIAL KITCHENS
An auxiliary gray water supply device captures used wash water from a commercial warewashing machine for supply to a pre-rinse station without substantial modification of the commercial warewashing machine. The captured wash water and treatment agent are delivered to a pre-rinse station for pre-rinsing of dishes that will be washed within the commercial warewashing machine.
DISHWASHER FOR USE IN A MEANS OF TRANSPORT
The invention relates to a dishwasher (110) for use in a means of transport (114) The dishwasher comprises a) at least one cleaning chamber (122) for receiving an item (112) to be cleaned, b) at least one application device (130) for applying the item (112) to be cleaned in the cleaning chamber (122) with at least one cleaning fluid (126): c) at least one washing tank (128) for receiving the at least one cleaning fluid (126), wherein the dishwasher (110) is designed to control a fill level of the washing tank (128) with the cleaning fluid (126) to a variably adjustable target level; d) at least one receiving device (186) for receiving at least one item of spatial information relating to the dishwasher (110); and e) at least one controller (166), wherein the controller (166) is programmed to determine the target level according to the spatial information.
Dishwasher
A control method for a dishwasher that includes a spray arm, a sump configured to provide a space where washing water is stored and to collect washing water sprayed from the spray arm, a housing configured to connect the sump and the spray arm, a heater located in the housing, an impeller located in the housing and above the heater, and a motor configured to rotate the impeller, is described. The control method includes the actions of supplying washing water to the sump; rotating the impeller by supplying electricity to the motor; measuring an amount of electric current supplied to the motor during the rotating of the impeller; and heating washing water located in the housing by operating the heater based on the amount of electric current supplied to the motor during the rotating of the impeller being greater than or equal to a preset reference amount.
ALTERNATING PUMP DIRECTION FOR FLUID DETECTION
A domestic appliance and a method at the domestic appliance for detecting presence of process water in a pump of the domestic appliance are provided. The method of detecting process water in a pump of a domestic appliance may include operating the pump to rotate in a first direction, recording a first response of the pump rotating in the first direction based on a measured pump operation parameter, operating the pump to rotate in a second direction, and recording a second response of the pump rotating in the second direction based on the measured pump operation parameter. The method may further include comparing the first response and the second response, and determining the presence of water in the pump based on the comparison of the first and second response.
Dishwasher and controlling method therefor
The present invention relates to a dishwasher for washing the dishes or the cooking utensils by spraying washing water and steam and a controlling method therefor. The method of controlling a dishwasher includes: a steam supply step of supplying washing water to the sump from an external water source; and a steam generation step of maintaining a water level of the washing water existing inside the washing pump at a certain water level or higher and heating the washing water.
