Surface cleaning apparatus
A hand vacuum cleaner with a finger grip area that is provided between a forward side of the handle and a rear side of the main body, and wherein the suction motor is positioned between the cyclone and the finger grip area and an axis that extends between the front of the cyclone and the handle extends through the suction motor.

VACUUM CLEANER IMPELLER AND DIFFUSER
An impeller comprising a hub, a shroud, a plurality of blades, and circumferential outlet. The hub extends to an outer diameter and is rotatable about a longitudinal axis. The should defines an inlet aperture, extends to the outer diameter, and is offset from the hub along the longitudinal axis to define a passageway between the hub and the shroud. The plurality of blades are located between the hub and the shroud, the blades dividing the passageway into a plurality of passages between each of the plurality of blades. The circumferential outlet is between the hub and the shroud adjacent the outer diameter. Airflow is generated by the plurality of blades, the airflow passing along a flow path within each of the plurality of passages. A size of a cross-sectional area perpendicular to the flow path increases linearly along the flow path from the inlet aperture to the circumferential outlet.
MOBILE CART WITH HIGH-POWER SLURRY VACUUM AND CONTAINMENT
A high-power slurry vacuum cart is well suited to collect and contain any slurry or wet residue produced through concrete and other surface processing operations. A multi-horsepower propane engine and propane tank are mounted on a mobile frame, along with a suction pump powered by the propane engine. A slurry containment vessel mounted on the frame has an input in communication with a squeegee and an output coupled to the suction pump. The squeegee may be adapted for floor contact to collect slurry for transfer to the slurry containment tank. The suction pump is directly coupled to the propane engine through a universal joint, thereby obviating the use of belts, chains or pulleys. The output of the pump may optionally be used as an air blower for surface drying, or the like, as well as use as an air blower to assist in emptying the slurry containment tank.

Cleaning device
Methods and apparatus for cleaning a surface with a cleaning device having a body with a handle, a connector, and one or more cleaning heads that are removably attached to the cleaning device. Each cleaning head include a lower surface arranged to contact a surface to be cleaned and a dirt collection chamber permanently attached to the cleaning head. The cleaning head may include a support structure to support the dirt collection chamber and a cleaning sheet. The cleaning head also may include a suction nozzle. At least a portion of the dirt collection chamber may be made of a filter material.

Wet/dry vacuum device
An improved shop vacuum with wet/dry capability uses a vacuum tube that terminates in a space between the canister and the vacuum compartment such that the substance and content exiting the vacuum tube is not directly opposed the negative pressure source. This allows the substance to drain into the canister in a more controlled and less volatile condition, reducing splashing and entrainment of the substance. Moreover, a second exit for the vacuum has been added to the canister to improve the efficiency of the vacuum and the overall performance of the device.
