The roller brush body is rotatable around a first rotation center line and has a bristle (12) provided thereon. The scraping sleeve is rotatable around a second rotation center line noncoincident with the first rotation center line and sleeved over the roller brush body. The scraping sleeve has a scraping sleeve hole defined thereon. The bristle is adapted to be extended out of or retracted into the scraping sleeve hole in a wall thickness direction of the scraping sleeve.
SURFACE CLEANING DEVICE WITH ODOR MANAGEMENT
A surface cleaning device includes a nozzle and an odor dial assembly. The nozzle includes a nozzle housing and a dirty air passageway. The odor dial assembly include a fragrance member and a dial body configured to be removably coupled to the nozzle housing. The dial body at least partially defines a fragrance cavity configured to at least partially receive the fragrance member and a fragrance passageway extending therethrough. The odor dial assembly is configured to transition between a plurality of user-selectable positions to adjust an amount of fragrance particles released by the fragrance member into the dirty air passageway.
Cleaning unit having agitator
The present invention provides a cleaning unit, comprising: a columnar body part having a rotation guide opening formed on the outer circumferential surface thereof; a shaft installed to reciprocate a predetermined distance in the longitudinal direction thereof in a hollow formed in the body part; a drive part that protrudes from the shaft in the radial direction thereof; a brush part that has one side installed on the outer circumferential surface of the body part along the longitudinal direction thereof and rotates on the basis of the one side as a rotation axis; and a driven part that extends from the brush part toward the drive part, passes through the rotation guide opening, and is inserted into a rotation guide groove formed in the drive part. The rotation guide groove extends at a predetermined angle with respect to the longitudinal direction of the shaft, and as the shaft reciprocates, the driven part is guided to rotate by means of the rotation guide groove, and the brush is rotated by means of the rotation of the driven part. The cleaning unit may include a robot cleaner or a cleaner operated by means of a user's operation.
Autonomously Driven Floor Vacuum Cleaner, Method for Vacuum Cleaning and Use of an Autonomously Driven Floor Vacuum Cleaner
The present invention relates to an autonomously operable vacuum cleaner that has a modular design. The vacuum cleaner in this respect comprises a cleaning head module as well as a separate canister module. The cleaning head module and the canister module are in this respect connected to one another via a hose so that dust sucked in via the cleaning head module can be conveyed into the canister module.
Surface cleaning apparatus having a brush motor internal of a rotating brush and brush motor for driving a rotatable brushing member
A surface cleaning apparatus is provided. The surface cleaning apparatus includes a dirt inlet, a rotatable brushing member, and a brush motor drivingly connected to the rotatable brushing member. The brush motor includes a plurality of field coils, a first motor sub-unit, a second motor sub-unit, and a motor controller. The first motor sub-unit includes a first rotor portion, a first stator portion, and a first field coil. The second motor sub-unit includes a second rotor portion, a second stator portion, and a second field coil. The first and second rotor portions are rotatable about a motor axis and are drivingly connected to the brushing member. The second motor sub-unit is axially spaced along the motor axis from the first motor sub-unit. The motor controller is operable to direct electric current through the plurality of field coils generating magnetic fields and driving rotation of the rotor portions.
Dirt collecting device for a cleaning device, particularly a sweeping vehicle, and vacuum cleaner nozzle for a vacuum cleaner, and method for operating both devices
Method for operating a dirt collecting device for a sweeping vehicle or for a vacuum cleaner nozzle of a floor or upright vacuum cleaner, which each comprise a suction fan with controllable speed and/or power, wherein in a first method step, the suction power of the suction fan is set at such a low level that the suction pressure in the dirt collecting device or the vacuum cleaner nozzle is merely sufficient to convey and deposit the absorbed coarse dirt into the intermediate container, and to convey the absorbed fine dirt into a downstream collection container, (normal operation); and that in a second method step, the filling level in the intermediate container is detected with respect to the coarse dirt deposited therein; and that in a third method step, if the filling level in the intermediate container is exceeded, the suction power of the suction fan is increased such that the coarse dirt, which is temporarily deposited in the intermediate container, becomes dispersible and is conveyed into the downstream collection container (emptying mode).
Vacuum cleaner
A vacuum cleaner includes a main body and a suction nozzle that suctions up dust on the floor. The suction nozzle includes a housing, a driver, and a rotating brush. The housing includes an entrance through which the dust travels to the main body, a first shaft member, and a first rib disposed along a circumference of the first shaft member. The rotating brush includes a cylindrical body rotated by the first shaft member. The rotating brush also includes a brush member attached to an outer surface of the cylindrical body. The brush member rubs against the floor to direct the dust on the floor towards the entrance. As the brush member rotates, it also comes into contact with the first rib. The brush member includes a plurality of filaments. Some of the filaments are elastically deformed in the direction of the rotation axis upon contacting the first rib.
ALLERGEN REDUCTION DEVICE
An allergen reduction device may include a body, a dust cup removably coupled to the body, a plurality of agitators rotatably coupled to the body and disposed within respective agitator cavities defined in the body, a suction motor disposed within the body and configured to cause air to flow along corresponding cleaning airflow paths from the agitator cavities into the dust cup, a hot air outlet fluidly coupled to the suction motor, the suction motor being configured to urge the air through the hot air outlet along a heated exhaust airflow path, and a heater positioned within the heated exhaust airflow path between the suction motor and the hot air outlet, the heater being configured to heat the air that is urged from the hot air outlet.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS WITH USER INTERFACE
A surface cleaning apparatus includes a cleaning head adapted to move over a surface to be cleaned, a housing coupled with the cleaning head, a first user interface on the housing, and a second user interface on the cleaning head. The first user interface includes at least one user input control. The second user interface includes a plurality of status indicia.
