Disclosed are devices, systems, and methods for modular vacuum cleaners. An example vacuum cleaner system includes a canister vacuum cleaner device and a robotic vacuum cleaner device, where the robotic vacuum cleaner is removably coupled to or is digitally communicable with the canister vacuum cleaner device. The canister vacuum cleaner device comprises a canister to collect debris, a vertical hollow structure that located towards a rear of the canister and coupled to the canister, a flexible extendable hose, and a housing located below the canister, wherein the housing includes a retractable electrical cord. The robotic vacuum cleaner device comprises: a storage area to collect debris, a battery, a plurality of wheels that are removably coupled to one or more motors, and a lever or a valve structured to direct debris either to the storage area or to the canister.

A filtering device for an evacuation station includes a filter bag configured to collect debris evacuated from a cleaning robot by an evacuation station. The filtering device includes an interface assembly configured to interface with the evacuation station. The interface assembly includes (i) a base attached to the filter bag along an opening of the filter bag, (ii) an access door configured to provide or limit access to a space within the filter bag depending on whether the access door is in an open position or a closed position, and (iii) one or more hinges connecting the base to the access door. The access door is rotatable around the one or more hinges from the closed position to the open position.

Apparatus and method for receiving and holding debris in a collection chamber of a vacuum cleaner. The collection chamber has an inlet opening through which debris-entrained air enters the collection chamber. When the vacuum cleaner is off, an internal valve prevents debris from leaving the collection chamber through the inlet opening. The internal valve is movable from a first sealed position, in which the internal valve covers the chamber inlet opening, to a second unsealed position in which the internal valve does not cover the chamber inlet opening.

A docking station for a mobile cleaning robot can include a base portion configured to receive the mobile cleaning robot. The docking station can include a housing connected to the base portion and a pad cleaning system. The pad cleaning system can be connected to the housing and can include a cleaning head engageable with a cleaning pad of the mobile cleaning robot to remove debris from the cleaning pad, the cleaning head can include a nozzle configured to discharge a fluid onto the cleaning pad.

A surface cleaning apparatus has a housing defining at least part of a cyclone chamber and a pre-motor filter chamber. In one embodiment, the housing is pivotally mounted to the main body of a hand vacuum cleaner. The housing is moveable between an in use position and an emptying position, in which the cyclone chamber and the pre-motor filter are concurrently openable.

A sweeping and mopping integrated household intelligent robot includes a host machine and a base station. Dust bins are arranged in the host machine. A mopping mechanism is arranged at the bottom of the host machine. A cleaning system and a dust collection system are arranged in the base station. The cleaning system is used for cleaning the mopping mechanism; and the dust collection system is used for recycling garbage in the dust bins. The sweeping and mopping integrated household intelligent robot of the present disclosure has excellent obstacle crossing capability, achieves a better mopping effect by virtue of rolling mops with double cloth-bundled rollers, provides a strong dust collection force and has a variety of optional work modes; the rolling mops of the host machine are automatically cleaned by the base station; and a base station dust bag can be replaced quickly and conveniently.

Provided is a cleaning system including: a robot cleaner including a dust collecting device having a dirt outlet and an outlet door configured to open and close the dirt outlet; and a station including a collecting device configured to generate a suction force to suction dirt of the duct collecting device and a lever device provided with a lever configured to be fixable to the outlet door as the outlet door is being opened to allow the collecting device and the dust collecting device to communicate with each other, and a lever driving source configured to generate power for driving the lever.

A surface cleaning device for removing debris from a surface is described. The surface cleaning device comprises a cleaning head comprising a housing, wherein the housing defines an inlet and comprises brush chambers; at least one vent coupled to a top portion of the housing; and a sweeper assembly coupled to the housing and comprising brushes having bristles, wherein the cleaning head is configured create a suction with a surface by directing air flow into the housing through the inlet and out of the housing through the at least one vent.

A vacuum cleaner includes an improved dual-action filter cleaning mechanism using both a rotational flicking action and a vertical shaking action. A debris removal assembly of the vacuum cleaner can include a filter assembly having a first filter and a second filter arranged in a nested configuration, and a filter cleaning mechanism configured to impart a combination of vertical shaking of the first filter and rotational flicking of the second filter. The filter cleaning mechanism can include a camming mechanism configured to simultaneously move the first filter along the axis and rotate the first filter about the axis while the second filter remains stationary.

Provided is a cleaning system including: a robot cleaner including a dust collecting device having a dirt outlet and an outlet door configured to open and close the dirt outlet; and a station including a collecting device configured to generate a suction force to suction dirt of the duct collecting device and a lever device provided with a lever configured to be fixable to the outlet door as the outlet door is being opened to allow the collecting device and the dust collecting device to communicate with each other, and a lever driving source configured to generate power for driving the lever.
