The motor receives power from a power cord that enters the lower portion of the main body through a power cord opening. The main body also includes a drain opening, configured to allow egress of any liquid in the main body. The power cord opening is higher than the drain opening. The vacuum also includes a protective tubular frame that surrounds the battery. The tubular frame is energy-absorbing, and is removable and replaceable.
Upright vacuum cleaner
An upright vacuum cleaner includes a main-body part (10) having a dust-collection chamber (14) fluidly connected to a motor chamber (13) via a coupling pipe (15). A fan (13f) and a motor (13m) are housed in the motor chamber. A cleaner head (20) is pivotably and fluidly connected to the main-body part and suctions air through a suction opening (23) when a suction force is generated by the fan and the motor in the motor chamber. A straight suction passageway (24) extends through a central portion of the interior of the cleaner head in plan view. SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus comprises an air treatment chamber, a pre-motor filter and a suction motor. The suction motor and the pre-motor filter are laterally spaced from the air treatment chamber. When the surface cleaning apparatus is positioned on a horizontal surface with the upper end of the air treatment chamber above the lower end of the air treatment chamber, the pre-motor filter is positioned at a higher elevation than the suction motor.

The present disclosure relates to fine filter part kit (63), comprising a replacement fine filter part (15) that is adapted to be mounted to a fine filter section (12) for a dust extractor (1). The fine filter part kit (63) further comprises a filter lid (16) that is adapted to be mounted to a corresponding used fine filter part (15) to be replaced, already mounted to the fine filter section (12), and thereby seal an opening (28) of a particle containing space inside the used fine filter part (15) before removing the used fine filter part (15). In this way, release of particles contained in the particle containing space into the ambient air is prevented and a secure disposal of the used fine filter part (15) is enabled.
