MEDICAL DEVICE WITH DISTAL TORQUE CONTROL
20180008166 · 2018-01-11 ·

A catheter with a distal end that rotates through the conversion of linear motion to rotational motion, thus the distal end may be rotated without longitudinally advancing or retracting the distal end. The catheter includes a tube with a single helix or a dual chirality helix cut into the tube, a distal end segment, means for linear displacement of the helix, and means for coupling the junction point of the helix to the distal segment.

MEDICAL OBSERVATION SYSTEM, APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND IMAGING APPARATUS

A light emitting device irradiates a surgical area with first wavelength light and second wavelength light. A wobbling operation of a focus lens included in an imaging device is controlled according to an emission timing of the first wavelength light and the second wavelength light when the surgical area is alternately irradiated with the first wavelength light and the second wavelength light. The present disclosure can be applied to an endoscopic surgical system, for example.

STACKED LENS, OPTICAL UNIT, ENDOSCOPE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OPTICAL UNIT

A stacked lens includes: a first optical device; a second optical device disposed on an optical axis of the first optical device; and an adhesive layer bonding the first optical device and the second optical device and including a projection projecting outside a side surface of the first optical device and a side surface of the second optical device.

An image pickup unit includes a first optical device including a lens and a spacer arranged around the lens and having a circular inner circumference, the spacer having a thickness continuously decreasing outward, an adhesive layer disposed on an adhesive surface of the spacer of the first optical device, a second optical device adhered to the first optical device by the adhesive layer, and an imager receiving light condensed by an optical system including the first optical device and the second optical device.

Ultrasonic probe with connecting butt joint portion, torque transmitting portion, plug portion, and sheath portion

A sheath assembly is adapted for an ultrasonic probe and includes a plug portion and a sheath portion connected to each other. One end of the plug portion of the sheath assembly is used for detachably and fixedly connecting with a connecting butt joint portion of the ultrasonic probe, so that the plug portion and the connecting butt joint portion are detachable after the ultrasonic probe is used. An inside of the plug portion communicates with an inside of the sheath portion to receive a torque transmitting portion of the ultrasonic probe.

Biopsy cap and biopsy cap housing

The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical instruments. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a biopsy cap and endoscope biopsy cap housing with improved stability and stress distribution to securely and removably attach to an endoscope biopsy port. In one example, a biopsy cap housing may include a first center-split half comprising a first half of an upper and lower chamber and first pivot member, and a second center-split half comprising a second half of an upper and lower chamber, and second pivot member, wherein mating surfaces of the first and second center-split halves may be configured to interlock to define the upper and lower chambers.

Endoscopic instrument

This disclosure relates to instruments and methods of performing an endoscopy. An endoscope for producing images of a surgery in vivo may include a hub and an imaging rod extending from the hub, the imaging rod being configured to receive light and direct the light to an imaging sensor located adjacent to a distal end of the imaging rod, the hub and the imaging rod being attached to form an assembly having a center of mass established distally of the hub. In other implementations, the hub may be omitted.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ASSISTING LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY - DIRECTING AND MANEUVERING ARTICULATING TOOL

A surgical controlling system for controlling the 3D spatial position of at least one articulating surgical tool includes a controller configured to provide instructions to control movement of the surgical tool. The controller comprises a processor to determine a location of the surgical tool using at least one location estimating feature and to determine movement of the surgical tool using a database in communication with at least one movement detection feature. The location estimating feature is configured to real-time locate the 3D spatial position of the surgical tool at any given time t, and the movement detection feature is configured to detect movement of the surgical tool.

IMAGING CATHETER AND IMAGING DEVICE
20220386853 · 2022-12-08 ·

An imaging catheter and an imaging device relate to a technical field of medical devices. The imaging catheter includes a metal wire tube, a tip and a retaining ring. A metal wire exposed at one end of the metal wire tube forms a conductive end, which is electrically connected with the tip so as to allow the metal wire to be used as a conductive medium to lead static electricity out of the tip, thereby reducing effects of static electricity on a photographing assembly at the tip, and the harm of static electricity to human body. The retaining ring covers the conductive end and is connected with the tip, so as to make the metal wire tube fixedly connected with the tip.

Adhesive for endoscope, cured product, endoscope, and method for producing endoscope

Provided are an adhesive for an endoscope, a cured product thereof, an endoscope produced using the adhesive for an endoscope, and a method for producing the endoscope. The adhesive for an endoscope is a two-component adhesive for an endoscope. The two-component adhesive has a base and a curing agent. The base includes at least one epoxy resin (A) selected from the group consisting of bisphenol A epoxy resins, bisphenol F epoxy resins, and phenol novolac epoxy resins.
