SYSTEM FOR JOINING A DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR A MEDICAL DEVICE, TO A SUPPORT
This disclosure relates to a removable system for joining a device to a support, using a male part interacting with a female part;
the male part including an arm having a free end provided with a series of bearing teeth extending radially;
the female part including at least one locking plate in which is arranged an opening delimiting retaining teeth able to come face-to-face with a bearing tooth to prevent the disengagement between the male and female parts;
the female part and the male part including an angular locking device able to angularly lock the female and male parts, the angular locking device including a latch mounted radially movable on the back face of the locking plate.
MEDICAL APPLIANCE THAT CAN BE SET DOWN OR HUNG UP
A medical appliance including a housing having a front face for displaying and, on the opposite side, a rear face, the housing being equipped with at least three legs to keep the medical appliance in a stable position when set down on a supporting surface, at least one of the legs being a hanging leg projecting out from the housing in the form of an arm and ending at its free end in a curved part, the housing being equipped with a fixing system for fixing to support equipment in such a way that each hanging leg is clear of the supporting surface so that at least one medical device can be hooked onto each hanging leg.
Endoscopic Ultrasound Fine Needle Aspiration Device
A handle for a medical device includes a proximal segment defining a proximal lumen extending therethrough and sized and shaped to receive an endoscopic medical device therein. A medial segment is received within a distal portion of the proximal segment and has an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter thereof. A medial lumen extends through the proximal segment and is open to the proximal lumen. A distal segment is received within a distal portion of the medial segment and defines a distal lumen extending therethrough open to the medial lumen. The distal segment has an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the medial segment. The medial segment includes a first movement limiting mechanism limiting movement of an endoscopic medical device inserted therethrough along an axis of the distal lumen and a second movement limiting mechanism limiting advancement of an endoscope attached to the distal body portion.
MEDICAL DEVICE INSPECTION SYSTEM
A medical device inspection system may include a base, a medical device holder on the base, a fiber scope holder on the base, a moveable roller moveably attached to the base such that it is free to rotate around an axis and move from a first position to a second position along the base, and a feeder coupled with the base for feeding a flexible portion of the fiber scope into a lumen of the medical device. During use, the flexible portion of the fiber scope may extend from the handle, around the moveable roller, and through the feeder to enter an opening in the lumen of the medical device.
LUNG BIOPSY DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LOCATING AND BIOPSYING AN OBJECT
According to embodiments, a substantially coaxial arrangement of a camera, a light source, and an ultrasonic sensor can be positioned in an housing of a system that can be deployed from the tool port of a standard bronchoscope. Illumination from the light source facilitates positioning of the system by an operator using information from the camera. The ultrasonic system can determine when an object to be biopsied is adjacent to a biopsy needle.
Endoscopic dilator
A dilator releasably connected with an endoscope to dilate a stricture as the dilator that is releasably connected to a portion of a cylindrical body of the endoscope passes through the stricture. The endoscopic dilator is moveable between an open position and a closed position configured to enable the dilator to be secured to the endoscope. When the dilator is in the closed position, an inner surface or a component on the inner surface of the dilator frictionally secures dilator to the portion of the cylindrical body of the endoscope. When in the open position, the dilator is not frictionally secured to the portion of the cylindrical body of the endoscope.
Endoscope manipulation training apparatus
An endoscope manipulation training apparatus includes: a body including an organ support plate, two support leg plates, and an insertion tube support body; and a net body. Fitting portions are formed on both end portions of the organ support plate, threaded holes are formed in both corner portions of both end surfaces of the organ support plate, a fitting hole is formed in one of the fitting portions such that the fitting hole extends inward from an end surface of the fitting portion, and a latch groove is formed in the one of the fitting portions on both sides of the fitting hole. The support leg plate is formed such that an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface exhibit a regular octagonal shape.
Enhanced flexible robotic endoscopy apparatus
An enhanced flexible robotic endoscopy apparatus includes a main body and flexible elongate shaft. The main body comprises a proximal end, a distal end and a housing that extends to the proximal end and the housing comprises a plurality of surfaces and a plurality of insertion inlets which reside on at least one of the surface of the housing at the proximal end of the main body, through which a plurality of channels for endoscopy are accessible. Each of the insertion inlets has insertion axis corresponding thereto, along which flexible elongate assemblies are insertable, with the insertion axes of the insertion inlets being parallel to the central axis of the flexible elongate shaft at the proximal end of the flexible elongate shaft.
Set of sampling parts
A set of medical sampling parts for use with an endoscope, including: a sampling device; a sample container including a separator part located at a top of the sample container, a base located at a bottom of the sample container opposite of said top, and a container part at least partly enclosing a sample volume located at the bottom of the sample container, so that a container axis extends between said separator part and said base; and a connector for connecting the sampling device with the sample container, wherein the sample container can be detached from the sampling device by a translational movement along a detachment axis, whereby a smallest angle between said container axis and said detachment axis is equal to or greater than 45 degrees.
