Artificial Airway Management Devices, Systems and Methods
Systems and methods for cleaning and maintaining artificial airways sized for insertion within pediatric or neonatal patients (e.g., external diameters of less than 5 mm) are disclosed. The system includes a multi-port ventilator manifold configured to couple to a ventilation source, thereby forming a ventilator circuit with the patient. The manifold includes an occluder configured to advantageously reduce an amount of dead space in the manifold so as to prevent less of positive end expiratory pressure of the ventilator circuit and reduce the likelihood of broncho-pulmonary dysplasia of the patient, or even premature death.
Ultrasonic endoscope
An ultrasonic endoscope includes: an ultrasonic transducer having an ultrasonic vibrator; a distal end portion body disposed continuously with a proximal end side of the ultrasonic transducer; an erecting base housing portion that is disposed in the distal end portion body and has an opening which opens toward one side in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the distal end portion body; a treatment tool lead-out port that communicates with the inside of the erecting base housing portion, an erecting base that is disposed in the inside of the erecting base housing portion and changes a lead out direction of a treatment tool led out from the treatment tool lead-out port; and a cleaning communication hole that is formed in a wall surface on a side opposite to a side where the opening of the erecting base housing portion is disposed and communicates with an outside.
Endoscopic cleaning and lubrication system
The endoscopic cleaning and lubrication system is a mechanical structure. The endoscopic cleaning and lubrication system is a medical device. The endoscopic cleaning and lubrication system clamps an endoscope to a working surface, such as an operating table, such that the endoscope can be cleaned and lubricated before use. The endoscopic cleaning and lubrication system comprises an endoscope clamp, a clamp mount, a gooseneck tube, and a table clamp. The gooseneck tube attaches the clamp mount to the table clamp. The table clamp attaches the endoscopic cleaning and lubrication system to the working surface. The clamp mount attaches the endoscope clamp to the gooseneck tube. The endoscope attaches to the endoscope clamp. The endoscope clamp holds the endoscope in a fixed position relative to the endoscopic cleaning and lubrication system. The gooseneck tube is a flexible structure that allows for the repositioning of the endoscope clamp.
MEDICAL DEVICE INSPECTION SYSTEM
A medical device inspection system may include a base, a medical device holder on the base, a fiber scope holder on the base, a moveable roller moveably attached to the base such that it is free to rotate around an axis and move from a first position to a second position along the base, and a feeder coupled with the base for feeding a flexible portion of the fiber scope into a lumen of the medical device. During use, the flexible portion of the fiber scope may extend from the handle, around the moveable roller, and through the feeder to enter an opening in the lumen of the medical device.

Remote pathogen eradication
A method and device for the remote eradication of pathogens comprising a light source for emitting UV light in the pathogen killing wave length range, and a tangible transmission medium, which is at least initially resistant to degradation by the UV light. An optical interface between the UV light source and the tangible transmission medium is provided whereby the emitted UV light is collected from the light source and transmitted through the tangible transmission medium, whereby UV light emitted from the tangible transmission medium and directed against a pathogen in proximity thereto is at a power level sufficient to substantially effectively kill the pathogen within a reasonable period of time. The device is used for sanitization of biopsy channels of endoscopes and for treating of pathogens within humans and animals.
ENDOSCOPE CONDUIT CLEANING TOOL AND ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
A conduit cleaning tool includes a long shaft. The shaft includes a linear first part and a second part arranged on a proximal end side with respect to the first part. The second part includes a plurality of bent portions bent to a corrugated shape in a predetermined direction with respect to a longitudinal direction N, and the plurality of bent portions are configured to rub an inner surface of the conduit.
Apparatus for sterilising an instrument channel of a surgical scoping device
Sterilisation apparatus comprising a sterilisation instrument configured to be inserted through the instrument channel of a surgical scoping device and a withdrawal device for withdrawing the sterilisation instrument from the instrument channel at a predetermined rate. The sterilisation instrument comprises an elongate probe having a probe tip with a first electrode and a second electrode arranged to produce an electric field from received RF and/or microwave frequency EM energy. In operation the instrument may disinfect an inner surface of the instrument channel by emitting energy whilst being withdrawn through the channel.

The system includes a multi-port ventilator manifold configured to couple to a ventilation source, thereby forming a ventilator circuit with the patient. The manifold includes an occluder configured to advantageously reduce an amount of dead space in the manifold so as to prevent loss of positive end expiratory pressure of the ventilator circuit and reduce the likelihood of broncho-pulmonary dysplasia of the patient, or even premature death.
Encoscope-cleaning device
An endoscope-cleaning device ensures effective cleaning of an endoscope. The endoscope-cleaning device includes a long flexible core member inserted into a twisted tubular body including a weft yarn including a microfiber yarn, wherein the microfiber yarn is made of polyester and the tubular body is twisted at 5 twists/5 cm to 15 twists/5 cm.
