At least some of the projections have a first end attached to the base, a second free end opposite to the first end, and include an elongated stem and a head at the second end. The head has at least one cantilevered portion outwardly extending from the stem and having a bottom surface generally facing the base. A substantial portion of the bottom surface of the individual first projection is inclined away from the stem; and a substantial portion of the bottom surface of the individual second projection is inclined towards the stem.

At least one of the projections, having a first end attached to the base and a second opposite free end, includes an elongated stem and a head at the second end. The head has a first cantilevered portion and a second cantilevered portion outwardly extending from the stem. The insert tray may be located within a middle axial section of the receiving trough and is in a fixed axial position relative to the blister carton through mating contact between a retaining section of the blister carton and a portion of the insert tray. An oral care implement is positioned within the receiving trough of the blister carton such that an an sate body of the oral care implement is positioned within a product receiving channel of the insert tray to prevent movement of the oral care implement relative to the insert tray.

A base component is configured to attach to said cleaning head component including a motor that is configured to vibrate said cleaning head component at a predetermined rate of a direction of motion of said cleaning head. An indicator indicates a status of said device.

The system provides means for collecting a user's vital signs and transmitting data into a readable, usable form for the user via an oral health care implement.

The present invention further relates to a device for application of oral compositions further comprising an oral composition comprising an effective amount of a small molecule inhibitor suitable for the prevention of maturation of dental plaque biofilms.

A saliva sensing device for detecting oral health and/or overall health includes a chemically treated test strip biomarker targeted to identify bacteria in the saliva. A breathalyzer for detecting bacteria in the mouth of a user includes a housing, a sensor, and an analyzer. The sensor is coupled to the housing and extends outwardly therefrom for placing in the mouth of user and for collecting a saliva sample. The analyzer is for testing saliva that contacts the sensor.
