An oral care implement with a soft tissue cleaner. The oral care implement may include a handle and a head, the head having a first surface, and an opposite second surface, and a peripheral surface extending between the first and second surfaces. A soft tissue cleaner may have a first cleaner fixed to the second surface of the head and a second cleaner fixed to the peripheral surface of the head. Furthermore, a second cleaner may incorporate a plurality of grooves extending at least a portion of the distance from the first surface to the second surface along the peripheral surface.

A method for manufacturing a sheet 1 for use in a tongue plaque cleaner for scraping off tongue plaque, includes: a step of heating a sheet material having multiple looped thread members 2 protruding from one surface of the sheet material, at a temperature below the melting point of the thread members 2; and a step of forming first thread members 3, 8 and second thread members 4, 9 by cutting loops of the thread members 2 heated.

The present invention relates to a disposable tongue scraper which has a strong and simple structure, a durable and efficient operation, comparatively inexpensive to manufacture, and a novel combination and arrangement of parts comprising a scraper body that forms a curved shape after bending at an acute angle at a bending point for scraping operation, a pair of handle casings attached with the scraper body, and a storage tissue net attached to the bottom of the scraper body to store the scraped oral wastes and to absorb the oral fluid. The present invention aims to provide the tongue scraper not only utilized for scraping the coating from the tongue, but also for storing the scraped oral wastes and saliva wastes from the mouth to maintain hygiene.

Disclosed is a portable multifunctional oral cavity cleaner which includes a tongue scraper, a material storage bottle, a material spraying device and a detachable housing; the tongue scraper can be changed into a contracted state from a stretched state via bending, rotating or folding, so as to reduce the volume of the oral cavity cleaner; an oral cavity cleaner body including the tongue scraper in the contracted state is housed in an inner cavity of the housing; and the housing can be reversely combined at the bottom of the oral cavity cleaner after being detached and used as a handle for prolonging the length of the oral cavity cleaner. A tongue cleaner that can be used by an operator or an individual that is capable of being connected to an apparatus that has suction/vacuum and a fluid reservoir system. The head part of the tongue cleaner includes a scraper edge, irrigation ports and a cavity well housed with suctions ports. The handle part of the cleaner includes the conduits for carrying the egress and ingress fluids to the head, a connection ports for the tubing that connects to the apparatus and a valve system that allows the user to control the irrigation and suction. The head part of the tongue cleaner is made to be disposable so that every new user would be using a fresh sterilized cleaner.

A self-contained tongue cleaner having a strip/band of material to provide a method of disinfecting and freshening the tongue as it is stroked against the tongue. The improvement comprises of a disinfecting/mouth freshener strip or gel located on the head in close proximity to the tongue scraper edge. The present invention is a consumer-oriented dental scraper, which helps the user maintain healthy teeth and gums via scraping away calculus, tartar, plaque, food particles, and other undesirable formations on teeth. The core components of the invention are a scraping head having a scraping edge and at least one scraping surface, a handle, and a finger grip, which are configured as follows: the back face of the scraping head is attached to the front end of the handle, and the finger grip is attached to the back end of the handle. The handle is optionally curved for better access to teeth. Optionally, the present invention is combined with a second scraping head, a dental pick, a flosser, a tongue scraper, or a toothbrush for greater flexibility in maintaining dental hygiene. Further, the present invention is produced in a disposable and biodegradable fashion.
