Sphincterotomes and methods for using sphincterotomes
Sphincterotomes and methods for making and using sphincterotomes are disclosed. An example sphincterotome may include an elongate shaft having an outer surface and a distal end region. The sphincterotome may also include a sphincterotome wire assembly having a distal end coupled to the distal end region of the elongate shaft and a body portion extending along the outer surface of the elongate shaft. The sphincterotome wire assembly may be designed to shift the distal end region of the elongate shaft between a first configuration and a curved configuration. The body portion of the sphincterotome wire assembly may include a cutting region and a non-conductive region.
Tissue specimen removal device, system and method
A tissue specimen removal device comprises a specimen bag; a flexible ring, the flexible ring configured to form a top opening of the specimen bag; a cannula assembly comprising: an inner tube portion and an outer tube portion. The device may further comprise a connector carrier, the connector carrier configured to retain at least one connector housing, the at least one connector housing comprising one or more connector portions and reside within an interior of the connector carrier, and wherein the connector carrier can be moved from a position within the cannula assembly to outside the cannula assembly.
ARTICULATED ENDOSCOPIC INSTRUMENT
An endoscopic instrument containing a retractable tool at its end that is articulated by engaging an actuator that moves pull wires to angularly move the tip of the instrument along a plane for conducting a procedure at a target site. The tool of instrument is linearly move from an extension position to a retracted position by another actuator. The instrument provide rotational control of the tool and instrument tip portion with a rotational actuator for rotating housings that carry both pull wires and a conducting wire connected to the tool.

The body portion of the sphincterotome wire assembly may include a cutting region and a nonconductive region.
Endarterectomy device
An endarterectomy device configured to remove plaque from an occluded artery is disclosed. The endarterectomy device uses an adjustable wire loop end effector to establish and advance a dissection plane in the subadventitial space of the artery. The endarterectomy device is passed down the length of an artery in the subadventitial plane, adjusting the size of the wire loop end effector as needed to navigate the artery and dissect a plaque column, until the end of the plaque is reached. The wire loop end effector is then used as a plaque cutter to transect the distal end of the plaque column. The endarterectomy device is further configured along its length with support arms that facilitate removal of the plaque column as the device is removed from the artery.
THROMBECTOMY DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
A thrombectomy system includes a frame having plurality of struts joined at an apex, a netting coupled to the plurality of struts, a pestle moveable relative to the frame and configured and arranged to macerate a clot within a vessel, adherent to its walls and against a portion of the apex of the frame.
DEVICE FOR TISSUE REMOVAL
A medical device that comprises a rim defining a loop in a plane and defining a width measured perpendicular to the plane, at least one wire coupled to a distal end of the rim and extending proximally from the distal end out of the plane to a proximal end of the rim, the at least one wire having a cross-sectional dimension measured perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the at least one wire, the cross-sectional dimension being smaller than the width of the rim, and a sheath configured to cover at least a portion of the rim and a portion of the at least one ware.
Explantation assembly for retrieving intracorporeal autonomous capsules
The present disclosure relates to an explantation assembly for retrieving an intracorporeal capsule implanted in a tissue of a patient comprising a first tube and a second tube. The first tube comprises a snare and a tissue. The second tube is configured to interact with the snare of the first tube and configured to be attached to the tissue of the patient.
Devices and methods for ocular surgery
Devices, systems, and methods for performing an ophthalmic procedure in an eye are disclosed. The devices include a hand-held portion and a distal, elongate member coupled to the hand-held portion having a lumen operatively coupled to a vacuum source. A drive mechanism operatively coupled to the elongate member is configured to oscillate the elongate member. When in use, the device is configured to aspirate ocular material from the eye through the lumen. The drive mechanism retracts the elongate member with a retraction speed profile and advances the elongate member with an extension speed profile. The retraction speed profile is different from the extension speed profile.
ENDOCARDIAL LEFT ATRIAL APPENDAGE MANAGEMENT
Disclosed are methods and devices for endocardial left atrial appendage management (LAAM) by inversion and excision. The methods may comprise inserting an inverter apparatus into an interior cavity of the left atrial appendage (LAA) of a subject and inverting the LAA, closing the base portion of the inverted LAA with the one or more closure devices, separating the inverted LAA from the left atrium with a separation apparatus positioned at the base portion of the inverted LAA adjacent to the one or more closure devices, and removing the separated LAA from the subject.
