NEOSTOMY APPARATUS
A neostomy apparatus, including a grasping device, a cutting device and a control handle. The control handle includes a housing and a manipulation portion disposed in the housing, the manipulation portion can move axially relative to the housing; the grasping device or the cutting device includes an elongated member, and the manipulation portion drives the elongated member to move axially; the elongated member is partially located in the housing, and a first limiting structure is further disposed in the housing, the first limiting structure has a groove or a through hole, and a portion of the elongated member located in the housing is at least partially disposed in the groove or the through hole of the first limiting structure.
Medical device and related methods
Exemplary medical devices may include a snare device. The snare device may include a first leg having a proximalmost end and a second leg having a proximalmost end. The first leg and the second leg may form a distal loop. The proximalmost end of first leg may be independently moveable relative to the proximalmost end of the second leg.
MULTIPURPOSE HANDLES AND MEDICAL SNARE OR OTHER DEVICES INCORPORATING THEM
Described are a multipurpose handles that can be incorporated into medical device delivery systems. Also described are medical devices, including medical snare devices, that can incorporate the handles or features thereof. An actuation button of the multipurpose handle can be moved longitudinally to move a device portion (e.g. snare loop) longitudinally, e.g. for deployment or retraction. The actuation button can also be rotated to rotate a device portion (e.g. snare loop). Sealing arrangements can be provided and can provide sealing functions in respect of a controlled medical device structure while the actuation button is moved longitudinally or rotated. Methods of using the handles and medical snare or other devices incorporating them are also described.
Papillotome for percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy
A papillotome for percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy including a front opening located in a free end region of a catheter and at the outlet of a first lumen, a rear opening further from a free end than the front opening and connects the first lumen to the outside, and a cutting wire located in the first lumen in an axially displaceable manner and extends through the front opening and the rear opening and is located on the outside between the front opening and the rear opening. When the cutting wire is tensioned, the free end region is deformed in an arc shape and the cutting wire forms a transversely extending cutting edge between the front opening and the rear opening. The front opening is arranged at a distance of at least 3 mm from the free end. A projection is formed between the free end and the front opening. A cutting tip is formed at the free end of the catheter. The cutting tip is connected to the cutting wire and forms the foremost end of the papillotome.
THROMBECTOMY DEVICES WITH CONTROL ASSEMBLIES
A device suitable for use in a body lumen and comprises an elongated control member having a distal and a proximal end, and a radially expansible member disposed at or near the distal end and adapted for collection and/or shearing of matter (i.e. thrombus) from a wall of the body lumen (i.e. a vein or an artery). The radially expansible member has a proximal end and a distal end and is adjustable between a contracted orientation and an expanded orientation. The elongated control member comprising a proximal arm connected at or adjacent to the proximal end of the radially expansible member and a distal arm connected at or adjacent to the distal end of the radially expansible member such that movement of one arm relative to the other arm effects adjustment of the diameter or radial strength of the radially expansible member. The device comprises a control mechanism operatively connected to both arms and adapted to provide resistance to the movement of one arm relative to the other. The control mechanism may be a biasing means, a brake means, or both.
Devices for manipulating tissue and related methods
A medical device may include an insertion device having a proximal end, a distal end, and a lumen extending therethrough. The medical device may further include a snare device configured to transition between a contracted state within the lumen of the insertion device, and an expanded state extending distally of the insertion device. The snare device may include a loop including a pair of legs and a distal tip. The distal tip may include a plurality of stabilizers between the pair of legs.
MEDICAL SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND RELATED METHODS
A medical device for insertion into a body may include a handle assembly including a handle body and a ball joint; a sensor assembly configured to electronically communicate with a magnet; a body extending longitudinally from the handle assembly; an articulation portion coupled to a distal end of the body, wherein the articulation portion includes a magnetic material; and an end effector coupled to a distal end of the articulation portion. The articulation portion may be configured to move upon application of a magnetic field from the magnet.
Method and apparatus for oral hygiene
An oral hygiene device having a main body including a first end and a second end, with a main body extending therebetween. At least one end has an extraction tip. The main body may be composed of a flexible material. The device may be used for removing tonsil stones.
Surgical basket
An apparatus including a basket device including a basket section; and a sheath on the basket device. The basket device and the sheath are configured to longitudinally slide relative to each other. The basket section includes at least two groups of loop petals including a first group having at least two first loop petals and a second group having at least two second loop petals, where the first loop petals have a different size than the second loop petals.
Snare assembly portion, an endoscopic catheter assembly and a method for utilizing the same
An endoscopic catheter assembly including a catheter portion is disclosed. The catheter portion includes a proximal portion and a distal portion. The catheter portion includes a tube-shaped body defining a passage extending there-through.
