Surgical Instrument Including Inductively Coupled Accessory
A surgical instrument system includes a surgical instrument, a power supply, and an accessory. The surgical instrument has a first induction device positioned therein. The power supply is electrically coupled to the first induction device. The accessory is selectively operably couplable to the surgical instrument. The accessory includes a second induction device that is inductively coupled with the first induction device when the accessory is operably coupled to the surgical instrument such that the power supply provides power to the accessory.
DETACHABLE MOTOR POWERED SURGICAL INSTRUMENT
A detachable motor-powered surgical instrument. The instrument may include a housing that includes at least one engagement member for removably attaching the housing to an actuator arrangement. A motor is supported within the housing for supplying actuation motions to various portions of a surgical end effector coupled to the housing. The housing may include a contact arrangement that is configured to permit power to be supplied to the motor only when the housing is operably attached to the actuator arrangement.
Multistage pushbutton switch device and multistage pushbutton switch device for endoscope
In a multistage pushbutton switch device, n pushbutton switches and at least one load absorption spring are movably arranged in between a pushbutton member and a reaction force wall in the same axial line, each of the n pushbutton switches is composed of an electrical switch member and a pressing member that operates the electrical switch member, and (n−1) that is one less than n, or more pushbutton switches is arranged with an intermediate spring member, when the pushbutton member is pressed and displaced, the n electrical switch members are sequentially turned on, the load absorption spring is arranged in at least one of between the pushbutton member and the pushbutton switch that is the nearest to the pushbutton member, between pushbutton switches that are adjacent, and between the reaction force wall and the pushbutton switch that is the nearest to the reaction force wall.
Tensioner-balancer for knee joint
A knee gap tensioning apparatus includes: a tensioner-balancer, including: a baseplate; a top plate; and a linkage operable to move the top plate relative to the bottom plate between retracted and extended positions in response to application of an actuating force, the linkage including: a first toggle linkage, including: a lower link having a first end pivotally connected to the baseplate; an upper link having a first end pivotally connected to the top plate, wherein second ends of the first and second links are pivotally connected to each other; a second toggle linkage, including: a lower link having a first end pivotally connected to the baseplate; an upper link having a first end pivotally connected to the top plate, wherein second ends of the first and second links are pivotally connected to each other; and a connector linkage interconnecting the first and second toggle linkages.
Aneurysm neck bridge with a closeable opening or lumen through which embolic material is inserted into the aneurysm sac
This intrasacular aneurysm occlusion device includes a neck bridge with a closeable opening through which embolic material is inserted into an aneurysm sac. After the neck bridge has been expanded within the aneurysm sac, a catheter is inserted through the opening and embolic material is delivered through the catheter into the aneurysm sac. After the aneurysm sac has been filled with embolic material, the catheter is then withdrawn and the opening is closed so that embolic material does not escape out of the aneurysm sac.
Battery-powered hand-held ultrasonic surgical cautery cutting device
A battery-powered, modular surgical device comprising an electrically powered surgical instrument that requires a pre-determined minimum amount of electrical energy to complete a surgical procedure, and a power module assembly that has a battery that powers the surgical instrument and has a current state of electrical charge, and a control circuit that is electrically coupled to the battery and the surgical instrument and has a memory and a microprocessor. The microprocessor determines the current state of electrical charge of the battery, compares the current state of electrical charge to the pre-determined minimum amount of electrical energy, permits the battery to discharge if the current state of electrical charge is above the pre-determined minimum amount of electrical energy, and maintains the battery in a non-discharge state if the current state of electrical charge is below the pre-determined minimum amount of electrical energy.
Control end of surgical instrument and surgical instrument having the control end
The present disclosure discloses a control end of a surgical instrument, which comprises a housing and a power assembly, the housing comprises a first body and a second body, a first cavity for accommodating the power assembly is provided between the first body and the second body, and the power assembly is detachably mounted in the first cavity.
ROBOTIC SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS HAVING ONBOARD GENERATORS
Various exemplary devices, systems, and methods for robotic surgical instruments having onboard generators are provided. In general, a surgical instrument is configured to releasably and replaceably couple to a robotic surgical system. The surgical instrument is configured to receive an input from the robotic surgical system that causes the surgical instrument to generate electrical power.
TENSIONER-BALANCER FOR KNEE JOINT
A knee gap tensioning apparatus includes: a baseplate, a top plate, and a linkage operable to move the top plate relative to the bottom plate between retracted and extended positions, the linkage including: a first toggle linkage, including a lower link and an upper link; a second toggle linkage, including a lower link and an upper link; a connector linkage interconnecting the first and second toggle linkages; wherein the links comprise parallel pivot axes and the linkage is configured so as to produce linear movement of the top plate relative to the base plate, in response to a rotational movement of one or more of the links; and wherein the linkage includes an input shaft coupled to the linkage and configured to accept a rotary input about an axis parallel to the parallel pivot axes of the links of the linkage.
