Artificial chordae tendineae implantation system
An artificial chordae tendineae implantation system includes a clamping device, a puncture device, a pushing device, and a detection device. The pushing device includes a pushing shaft. The clamping device includes a clamping push rod that receives an artificial chorda tendineae, and a distal clamp and a proximal clamp for cooperatively clamping a valve leaflet. The detection device includes one probe that is movably disposed in the pushing shaft. A probe outlet is provided at one of a clamping surface of the proximal clamp and a clamping surface of the distal clamp, and a probe accommodation chamber corresponding to the probe outlet is provided at the other one. When the clamping device is closed, the distal end of the probe protrudes from the probe outlet and is accommodated in the probe accommodation chamber, and whether the valve leaflet is clamped is detected.
Suturing devices for heart valve surgery
Disclosed are devices and methods for delivering several sutures accurately and simultaneously around the perimeter of an annular prosthetic device (prosthetic heart valve, annuloplasty ring, etc.) to secure the prosthetic device within a native heart valve region. Devices can comprise a proximal handle portion including an actuator and a distal suturing portion including several curved and straight needles arrayed around the shaft axis. The straight needles and the curved needles are configured to simultaneously guide a plurality of sutures through the native tissue and through the annular prosthetic device. The actuator can cause the straight needles to move axially relative to the curved needles and can also cause the curved needles to rotate, such that the motions are coordinated to simultaneously place all the sutures.
AORTIC LANDING BAND SUPPORT METHOD AND SYSTEM
A method of providing support in an aortic region. The method includes wrapping a landing band around an outside of a portion of an aortic vessel in a vicinity of a sinotubular junction (STJ) to form a wrapped portion of the aortic vessel. The method further includes securing the landing band to form a secured landing band. The method also includes endovascularly delivering a stent graft in a radially constricted configuration into the aortic vessel. The method also includes deploying the stent graft to a radially expanded configuration such that the stent graft contacts the wrapped portion of the aortic vessel. The method also includes connecting the stent graft in the radially expanded configuration to the secured landing band.
CLOSING TISSUE OPENINGS
A suture system can comprise a first and a second curved double arm needle, and a needle docking device configured to maintain the first and the second curved double arm needles in alignment with and parallel to one another and at predetermined orientations relative to the needle docking device. The system can include a needle manipulating instrument having a distal portion configured to engage the first and the second curved double arm needles while the first and second curved double arm needles are in the needle docking device, and to maintain the needles in predetermined orientations.
Artificial chordae tendineae and artificial chordae tendineae implantation system
An artificial chordae tendineae includes a chordae tendineae main body with at least one end connected to a fixing member. A side of the fixing member facing away from the chordae tendineae main body is provided with a puncturing connection member. An artificial chordae tendineae implantion system includes a clamping device, a puncturing device including a puncture needle, the artificial chordae tendineae, and a pushing device including a pushing shaft. The puncturing device and the clamping device are received in the pushing shaft. A proximal clamp of the clamping device is provided at a distal end of the pushing shaft. A distal clamp of the clamping device is provided at a distal end of the clamping push rod. A distal end of the puncture needle is provided with a tapped straight tip. The artificial chordae tendineae is received in the clamping device. The fixing member corresponds to the puncture needle.
ARTHROSCOPIC ACL REPAIR SYSTEM AND METHOD
An arthroscopic system for the repair of a ruptured anterior cruciate is provided. Aspects of the invention include a scaffold attached by a suture to an fixation device and inserted into a repair site via arthroscopic equipment. The scaffold and suture are further secured near or at the repair site via arthroscopic equipment having an elongated delivery member that contains the scaffold and suture prior to inserting the scaffold and suture into the repair site.
LANDING ZONE FOR ENDOVASCULAR PROCEDURES
Systems and methods for building a landing zone for an endovascular procedure are described. This procedure is “hybrid” in that it involves both direct access (e.g., sternotomy or partial sternotomy) to the site for installation of the landing zone, as well as endovascular installation of a TAVR or TEVAR device (e.g., stent graft) once the landing zone is installed. The landing zone is installed by wrapping a landing band around a portion of a vessel. The landing band may be selected to be fixed at a diameter so that it inhibits any expansion of the vessel, and also supports a later-installed TAVR or TEVAR device. The TAVR or TEVAR device is then endovascularly delivered to the vessel and deployed therein. The device expands until it contacts the vessel, which is supported from the outside by the landing band, which thus constrains and supports the device from outside.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MANIPULATING NASAL TISSUES
Described herein are devices and methods for applying a tension force to various tissues. The devices may be delivered in minimally invasive fashion and used to manipulate tissues in the nose, ear, and throat. Force may be maintained by the devices for a time period that allows shaping, compression, or approximation of tissues.
BIOLOGICAL TISSUE ADHESIVE SHEET, BIOLOGICAL TISSUE REINFORCEMENT MATERIAL KIT, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING BIOLOGICAL TISSUE ADHESIVE SHEET
The present invention provides a biological tissue adhesive sheet having excellent tissue adhesiveness. The biological tissue adhesive sheet according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a nonwoven fabric made of fibers containing a crosslinked cold-water fish gelatin. Thereby, the biological tissue adhesive sheet according to the present invention is superior in tissue adhesiveness and film strength to conventional medical sheets.
BONE FUSION DEVICE
A bone fusion device includes: a shaft including a porous section and a threaded proximal section configured for facilitating a compression.
