Disposable circumcision apparatus and method of use of this apparatus

New disposable system devises and procedure for circumcision. The new procedure is by using the clamp in the same way of using bone cutter forceps, the penis marked by skin marker below the level of coronal sulcus, the prepuce retracted, a glans protector probe introduced above the glans, the prepuce pulled back over the probe, grasped by fingers on the probe to have painless holding. The modified bone cutter with blind cut end and groove on the upper surface is applied on the level of the skin mark. Light pressure separates the glans protector from its handle, then strong pressure on prepuce applies by this modified bone cutter, a sharp knife cuts the prepuce above the instrument, left a skin tag in the groove of the instrument, a heated oval shape stainless steel coated cupper cautery pass above the grove, the heating is by gas or electricity, but the electrical current must be cut off before application, the temperature between 140-300, glans protector removed no need for any dressing. Another modification is the removable disposable heads of the bone cutter. The result is very rapid circumcision with the lowest complication specially bleeding.

Ultrasonic surgical instrument with replaceable clamp pad

An ultrasonic instrument includes a body, a shaft assembly, and an end effector. The shaft assembly extends distally from the body. The shaft assembly includes an acoustic waveguide configured to acoustically couple with an ultrasonic transducer. The end effector includes an ultrasonic blade, a clamp arm and a clamp pad. The ultrasonic blade is in acoustic communication with the waveguide. The clamp arm is pivotally coupled with the shaft assembly. The clamp pad is configured to removably couple with the clamp arm while the clamp arm is pivotally coupled to the shaft assembly.

A bipolar forceps includes a mechanical forceps including first and second shafts each having a jaw member extending from a distal end thereof and a handle disposed at a proximal end thereof for effecting movement of the jaw members relative to one another about a pivot. A disposable is housing is configured to be releasably coupled to at least one of the shafts and an electrode assembly is configured to be releasably coupled to the disposable housing. The electrode assembly includes electrodes releasably coupled to the jaw members. At least one of the electrodes includes a knife channel configured to receive a knife blade therethrough to cut tissue grasped between the jaw members. A tissue stop has a knife slot that aligns with the knife channel to receive the knife blade. An actuation mechanism advances the knife blade through the knife channel to cut tissue.

Manipulator for grasping tissue

A manipulator adapted to grasp and draw tissue comprises first and second arms having proximal ends and distal ends separated by a distance. First and second grasping surfaces each connected to and extending from respective distal ends of the first and second arms are biased toward each other by a respective spring force. When the first and second arms are actuated to reduce the distance, the manipulator is configured such that tissue arranged between the first and second grasping surfaces resist actuation of the first and second arms. The first and second arms are further actuatable to overcome the spring force of the first and second grasping surfaces so that the first and second grasping surfaces pivot at respective pivot points such that the distance between the distal ends of the first and second arms is reduced.

SURGICAL STAPLING DEVICE WITH SLEEVE TO IMPROVE GRASPING CAPABILITY

A surgical device includes gripping sleeves that can be secured to jaws of the surgical device to allow the device to function as a grasper. The gripping sleeves include nonslip surfaces which are brought into juxtaposed alignment with each other when the surgical device is moved from an open position to a clamped position to clamp tissue between the nonslip surfaces of the gripping sleeves.

The disclosed technology is directed to a treatment tool comprises a shaft to extend from a proximal-end side toward a distal-end side. A first jaw is disposed on the distal-end portion of the shaft. A second jaw having a gripping surface that faces the first jaw, an opposed back surface of the gripping surface and a first engaging portion. The second jaw is angularly movable about a turn axis of the first engaging portion so as to be opened or closed with respect to the first jaw. A movable shaft having a recess defined in a distal-end and is movable along the longitudinal axis with respect to the shaft for angularly moving the second jaw about the turn axis with respect to the first jaw. A cover having a protrusion that protrudes toward a proximal-end side of the second jaw and a second engaging portion formed on the protrusion.
