Surgical table disposable base cover
A disposable base cover includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion includes a top wall and a peripheral side wall extending orthogonally therefrom. The first portion also includes a side edge with a first fastening feature. The second portion includes a top wall and a peripheral side wall extending generally orthogonally therefrom. The second portion also includes an equipment zone that provides visual indicia of equipment zone bounds. The second portion includes a side edge with a second fastening feature that is complementary to the first fastening feature. The disposable base cover is configured for engagement with a base of a surgical table having rollers to provide mobility to the surgical table.

A medical device packaging comprises a container having an opening. A medical device is disposed within the container. The medical device includes an adhesive contact face facing the opening. A first cover is disposed over the opening in the container to close the container. A second cover is disposed over the adhesive contact face of the medical device. The first and second covers are connected such that removal of the first cover from the container causes detachment of the second cover from the medical device.
Medical device packaging systems and methods
A method includes hermetically sealing a medical device within a pouch, the pouch including peeling panels that are free from one another. The pouch is placed within a tray and the peeling panels are attached to unloading handles of the tray. The unloading handles are releasably coupled together. The method further includes simultaneously separating the unloading handles and the peeling panels to open the pouch and expose the medical device for removal thereof.

DIABETES TESTING KIT AND METHODS FOR ITS USE
Methods and apparatuses for use in screening for and assessing neuropathies, such as severe diabetic neuropathies of the feet, also known as Loss of Protective Sensation (“LOPS”). The methods and apparatuses described herein employ a kit including one or more of an insert having at least one testing instrument attached thereto, the at least one testing instrument comprising at least a holder and a monofilament; an enclosure including inner compartments for holding and securing the insert; a folder having one or more pockets for securing the insert and one or more of a mirror, a packet and other material, such as instructions. The apparatuses safely secure and protect the testing instrument(s) so that the risk of breaking or otherwise damaging the testing instruments during storage and/or shipping is significantly reduced. The methods and apparatuses are easy and low cost to manufacture, easy to use, scalable, and allow users to self-screen/test for, among other things, severe diabetic neuropathies of the feet.
