A neuromonitoring needle electrode placement gun which includes a housing, at least a first needle electrode and housing assembly, an elongated channel dimensioned and configured for accommodating axial movement of the at least a first needle electrode and housing assembly within the channel and for directing movement of the at least a first needle electrode and housing assembly and a pusher dimensioned and configured for engaging the at least a first needle electrode and housing assembly and for axially displacing the at least a first needle electrode and housing assembly.
Medical device transportation systems
A system for containing and transporting a medical device may include a container including a bottom face and surrounding side faces as a closed first end and an open second end to form an inner portion for receiving and retaining the medical device. The liner may be extendable over the side faces to line the inner portion of the container to an outer surface of the bottom face of the container. The liner may act as a protective barrier to the container to minimize contamination when receiving and/or retaining a used medical device. First and second covers may be removably attachable to the container, over the liner, to enclose a medical device therebetween. A first cover may have a color or marking indicating the medical device is “clean”, while a second cover may have a color or marking indicating the medical device is “used”.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF PLATE TRIAL PACKAGING
A packaging system includes a packaging container and a packaging element. The packaging container include a first half having a base surface and an outer wall defining an inset receiving area, a second half sized and configured to couple to the first half in a locking relationship, and a coupling element extending from the base surface of the first half. The packaging element includes a central coupling body defining an opening sized and configured to receive the coupling element of the packaging container therethrough and a plurality of secondary coupling elements each coupled to an outer perimeter of the central coupling body. A plurality of surgical elements are each coupled to one of the plurality of secondary coupling elements.
SURGICAL SHARPS TRAY
A receptacle for the safe passing of surgical instruments during surgical procedures, the receptacle comprising: a first pick-up well for receiving one or more surgical instruments and defined by a protective wall and one or more first walls, each of the protective and one or more first walls having a top edge which collectively define an opening to the first pick-up well, and the top edge of the protective wall projecting above the top edges of the one or more first walls; and a handle external to the first pick-up well and comprising an elongate member projecting from the protective wall and adapted to be gripped in a human hand; wherein: the protective wall is located between the elongate member and the first pick-up well; and the elongate member joins the protective wall at a position and orientation such that, in use when a user is gripping the elongate member, the hand of the user does not project above the top edge of the protective wall.
Packaged medical device
To provide a packaged medical device in which a medical device in a container is stably fixed and which can be easily opened. Specifically, provided is a packaged medical device comprising a container having an opening portion and a flange portion formed to extend outward in a peripheral portion of the opening portion, a medical device housed inside the container, and a lid member having a gas impermeable film and peelably heat-sealed to the flange portion, in which the inside of the container is set to a negative pressure to the atmospheric pressure so that the medical device is pressed by the lid member and the peel strength to the flange portion of the lid member is 2 to 50 N/in.
Surgical instrument with charging station and wireless communication
An apparatus comprises an electrically power surgical instrument having a handle assembly. The apparatus also comprises a communication device positioned within the handle assembly. The communication device is operable to communicate with at least a portion of the electrically powered surgical instrument. The apparatus further comprises an external device in wireless communication with the communication device. The external device is operable to receive information from the communication device and the external device is operable to provide an output viewable to the user.
STERILISATION CONTAINER FOR RECEIVING STERILE MEDICAL GOODS
A sterilization container for receiving cleaned or sterilized medical goods or medical goods to be cleaned or sterilized. The container includes a sterilization container lower part forming a receiving space for the goods and a sterilization container lid that can be detachably mounted on the sterilization container lower part to seal the receiving space. At least one handle element is located on the sterilization container lower part and can be positioned between a carrying position projecting from the sterilization container lid and a locking position that locks the sterilization container lid to the sterilization container lower part. A receiving region is formed in the sterilization container lid for receiving the handle element in the locking position. The receiving region is a trough like handle recess in the form of a depression projecting into the receiving space with respect to the lid plane for receiving the entire handle element.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR BIODIFFUSION CHAMBER STORAGE
An apparatus includes a chamber container and a tray. The chamber container has a first portion and a second portion removably coupled to the first portion. The first and second portions collectively define an inner volume. The tray is configured to be removably disposed within the inner volume of the chamber container. The tray includes a first portion and a second portion coupled to the first portion via a hinge. The first portion includes a first retention surface. The second portion includes a second retention surface. The tray is configured to receive a biodiffusion chamber between the first portion and the second portion such that the first retention surface and the second retention surface engage a portion of the biodiffusion chamber to (1) place the biodiffusion chamber in a predetermined orientation and (2) maintain the biodiffusion chamber in a substantially fixed position relative to the tray.
