CATHETER SYSTEM
A catheter system is disclosed. A catheter system comprises a catheter module and a magnetic robot, which can be coupled to the catheter module, wherein: the catheter module comprises a catheter having an accommodation space formed on the front end thereof, and a rotational magnet that is rotatable; and the magnetic robot comprises a body and a magnet member, which is coupled to the body and induces magnetism with the rotational magnet.
TETHER-FREE ROBOTIC SYSTEM TO PERFORM A REMOTE MICROSURGERY IN THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM (CNS)
The present disclosure relates to systems that comprise a millimeter size tetherless object powered by an external magnetic field, and an interactive hardware-software platform separate from the miniature device that generates, modulates and controls magnetic fields in a defined three-dimensional operational volume to propel, navigate the miniature device to a specific anatomical target to complete a (microsurgical) mission or task, as well as using such systems to perform microsurgery in the central nervous system (CNS).
Control method, control device, storage medium, and electronic device for magnetic capsule
A control method, a control device, a storage medium, and an electronic device for a magnetic capsule endoscope is provided. The method includes: obtaining a safe operating range of a magnetic moving member to obtain a spatial range parameter, wherein the magnetic moving member controls the movement of the magnetic capsule endoscope through the movement of a magnetic field during movement; controlling a drive mechanism to drive the magnetic moving member to move within the safe operating range according to a specified movement mode according to the spatial range parameter, wherein the magnetic capsule endoscope moves under the attraction of the moving magnetic field of the magnetic moving part; and controlling the magnetic capsule endoscope to transmit captured videos or images during the movement.
Fistula formation devices and methods therefor
Described here are devices, systems, and methods for forming a fistula between two blood vessels. Generally, the systems may comprise a first catheter and a second catheter, which may comprise one or more fistula-forming elements. The first and second catheters may comprise one or more magnetic elements, which may be used to assist in bringing the first and catheters in closer proximity to facilitate fistula formation. In some variations, the magnetic elements may have magnetization patterns such that the flux generated by the magnetic elements is locally concentrated. In some instances, the system may comprise a magnetic control device, which may comprise a magnet, and may be used to increase or create an attractive force between the first and second catheters.
GUIDANCE APPARATUS AND CAPSULE MEDICAL APPARATUS GUIDANCE SYSTEM
A guidance apparatus includes: a magnetic field generator configured to generate a magnetic field that acts on a magnet; a magnetic field shielding material configured to shield the magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generator; an operation input device configured to receive an input of at least one of a target position and a target posture for guiding a position and a posture of a capsule medical apparatus; and a controller configured to control the magnetic field generator to generate a magnetic field that has been corrected to offset or reduce a deviation amount of the position or the posture of the capsule medical apparatus with respect to the target position or the target posture, caused by distortion, due to the magnetic field shielding material, of a magnetic field for guiding the capsule medical apparatus to at least one of the target position and the target posture.
IMAGING CAPSULE
Described embodiments include a capsule, including a cyclically everting sleeve shaped to define a sleeve interior, a fluid, configured to facilitate the everting of the sleeve, contained within the sleeve interior, and a plurality of electrically-conductive coils coupled to the sleeve. The coils are configured to, when at least two of the coils are magnetized, advance the capsule within a lumen by applying an everting force to the sleeve. Other embodiments are also described.
Therapeutic agent targeting and fixation medical device using magnet array
Provided is a therapeutic agent targeting and fixation medical device that precisely targets a therapeutic agent including a magnetic substance by using an optimized array of magnets in consideration of an affected area of a patient.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REMOVING TISSUE FROM A BODY
Disclosed embodiments provide an apparatus and method of removing tissue from a body of a human or non-human animal. The disclosed embodiments includes a tool that may have a cutting edge to drill into tissue. The tool has magnetizable segments, which may be translated or rotated by an applied magnetic field
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CAPSULE ENDOSCOPE
A system and method for controlling a capsule endoscope is provided. The control method includes: measuring a magnetic field value of the environment in which the capsule endoscope is subjected; obtaining a critical magnetic field value for suspension of the capsule endoscope according to the magnetic field value; adjusting a traction force on the capsule endoscope according to the critical magnetic field value for suspension; and controlling the movement of the capsule endoscope in a horizontal and/or vertical direction, wherein the movement of the first magnet is controlled by moving the second magnet, and the capsule endoscope is in a quasi-suspended state as moving in the horizontal and/or vertical direction. The system and method reduce friction between the capsule endoscope and wall of the target area during movement by controlling the capsule endoscope in a quasi-suspended state, which makes the scanning of the target area more accurate.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CATHETERIZATION USING AN INTRALUMINAL ELECTROMAGNETIC WORKING CAPSULE
There is provided a system for cardiac electromagnetic/magnetic catheterization for diagnosing and treating blood vessels of a patient. The system having at least one electromagnetic intraluminal capsule able to force its way through a narrowing blood vessel, the capsule carrying a camera allowing visualization of blood vessels of a patient. There is a portable electromagnetic tip, where the tip pulls the electromagnetic capsule by electromagnetic force, and when the magnetic tip moves along a body of a patient and pulls the intraluminal electromagnetic capsule along with it towards a narrowing blood vessel visualized by the camera, so that the capsule then treats the narrowing site and clears the blood vessel from coronary plaque. In addition working capsule can replace diseased valve in any cardiac position for either temporary or permanent needs.
