METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRACER-AIDED DETERMINATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF INTOXICATING SUBSTANCE IN BREATH SAMPLE
The present invention relates to a breath analyzing system and method. In particular the invention relates to a breath analyzing system and method arranged to provide tracer-aided classification of the presence of a breath intoxicating substance above a limit concentration and providing status to a user about the progression of the classification. The method/system detects a peak in the tracer signal and defines an evaluation period corresponding to the duration of the peak. Measurements classification of the concentration of the intoxicating substance is used for the evaluation period, and if required to achieve a result, for a plurality of evaluation periods.
ORAL APPLIANCE
A sheet-shaped oral appliance is provided that is detachably attached to an oral body device and includes a functional portion with a sensor unit that acquires information in an oral cavity and an energy irradiation unit that radiates energy into the oral cavity, an electrical connection portion, and a wiring portion that connects at least one of the sensor unit and the energy irradiation unit to the electrical connection portion. The functional portion, the connection portion, and the wiring portion are formed by a wiring layer having first and second main surfaces that oppose each other, a first insulating layer arranged on the first main surface and a second insulating layer arranged on the second main surface. Moreover, in the functional portion, a thickness of the first insulating layer is smaller than a thickness of the second insulating layer.
Systems and methods for generating an alimentary plan for managing skin disorders
A system for generating an alimentary plan is disclosed. The system comprises a computing device which is configured to receive an input that includes physiological data related to a skin sample. Computing device is configured to extract a plurality of biological indicators related to disease state from the physiological data. Computing device is configured to determine a biological indicator score for each biological score for each biological indicator of the plurality of biological indicators. Computing device is configured to generate a skin disorder classifier by receiving skin disorder training data. The computing device is configured to classify, using the skin disorder classifier, the at least one biological indicator and the biological indicator score to a positive result for a skin disorder. Computing device is configured to generate an alimentary plan as a function of the positive result. A method for generating an alimentary plan is also disclosed.
Diode-pumped multipass cavity raman gas sensor and method of use
A method for enhancement of spontaneous Raman scattering (SRS) from gases comprising a multimode blue laser diode which receives feedback from a near concentric bidirectional multipass cavity in such a way as to generate a circulating power of order 100 W for a sample volume of 10 mm.sup.3. The feedback, provided via a volume Bragg grating, reduces the laser bandwidth to 4 cm.sup.−1. Spectra of spontaneous Raman scattering from ambient atmospheric air, detected collinearly with the pump, were recorded with a limit of detection below 1 part-per-million.
GAS MONITORING DEVICE
An animal emission monitoring device for positioning on cattle, the animal emission monitoring device comprising a snout member comprising a sensor unit for detecting the quantity of methane emissions and a positioning means for positioning the device on the head of an animal such that the snout member locates the sensor unit over the nostril of the animal.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BREATH-BASED BIOMARKER DETECTION AND ANALYSIS
The present invention provides a device for non-invasive monitoring and/or detection of diabetes in a subject based on detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the exhaled breath of a subject. The device comprises a functionalized carbon nanotube-based array sensor which can reversibly bind VOCs, which alters the electrical conductivity of the sensor array, which can be interpreted to monitor and/or diagnose diabetes.
DRUNK DRIVING PREVENTION SYSTEM WITH BYPASS MODE AND DRUNK DRIVING PREVENTION METHOD USING THE SYSTEM
Disclosed are a drunk driving prevention system and a drunk driving prevention method using the system that includes a sensor module measuring the alcohol content in exhaled breath of a driver at the time of breath-checking of the driver and a control module configured to check an intoxication state of the driver based on the alcohol content measured by the sensor module to determine whether or not a breath-checking is complete and block an engine start when the breath-checking fails, wherein the control module includes a bypass control unit switching a vehicle into a drivable state when the breath-checking fails.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING DRUNK DRIVING OF VEHICLE
Disclosed is a system for preventing drunk driving of a vehicle, the system including: an input unit through which a transfer intention to transfer a control privilege of a vehicle from a registered driver to a passenger is input; a sobriety determination unit configured to determine a current driver's inebriation state through a breathalyzer provided in the vehicle when the transfer intention is input through the input unit; a driver verification unit configured to identify personal information of the current driver seated on a driver's seat; and a control unit configured to transfer the control privilege of the vehicle to the passenger when the passenger is measured as being able to drive by the sobriety determination unit and the passenger and the current driver are identified to be the same by the driver verification unit.
DRUNK DRIVING PREVENTION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR
According to the present disclosure, a drunk driving prevention system including: an alcohol detection unit configured to detect a driver's inebriation through the breath test device provided in a vehicle; a computation unit configured, when the driver is detected to be in a drunk state by the alcohol detection unit, to compute a driving-possible time at which the drunk state is resolved in the future so that driving is possible; and a notification unit configured to output the driving-possible time or whether or not driving is possible through an infotainment system of the vehicle or a driver's terminal is disclosed.
