DRUG ADMINISTRATION DEVICE
A device which, in a shallow region including the epidermal layer or the dermal layer, can administer a target even in extremely small amounts. This includes a puncture needle which, in a flat puncture unit for puncturing the shallow region, has a groove and a through-hole which constitute a recess that extends through part of or the entire thickness of the puncture unit; and a casing which houses the puncture needle so as to allow the puncture needle to advance. By part or all of a flow agent containing the drug being arranged in the groove and the through-hole, the drug is positioned with respect to the puncture unit. The device is designed such that a flow agent in the amount of 10-1000 nL is dosed in the shallow region per puncture.
SAMPLE COLLECTION DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING AND COLLECTING A SAMPLE OF A FLUID OF A USER
A sample collection device for collecting a blood sample of a patient, the sample collection device including a first partially deformable shell and a second at least partially pierceable shell with a pre-packaged vacuum sealed between the first shell and the second shell. The second shell may additionally hold a sample container and an automatic mechanical cutting mechanism including a rotatable cutting blade and an actuator spring, the actuator spring being actuatable by pressing the first shell, thereby releasing and rotating the cutting blade. By pressing the first shell, the pre-packaged vacuum is released to a collection opening of the second shell such that the vacuum effects a suction effect so that blood coming out of the incision created by the rotatable cutting blade leaks into the sample container.
Body Fluids Sampling Device and Method of using the Same
A fluid sampling device and a method is provided for collecting body fluid samples such as blood without the intervention of medically trained personnel. The body fluid sampling device having a sample containment chamber made of a material having a thermal inertia permitting the maintenance of sample temperature over a known period of time. Optionally an isolating cover or sleeve may slide in place by a mechanism triggered by thermal contraction of an element after the device has reached a sufficiently low temperature in a patients refrigerator. Associated methods are provided to ensure hermetic transport of the collected body fluid sample to an analysis lab. Also disclosed is a device and app combination for drug or vaccine injection, the app including means to allow for verification of the patient's ID and/or the particular device used. The device my be equipped with geo-localization and long-range communication capabilities.
CAPILLARY BLOOD SAMPLING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A body fluid sampling device (100) provides a user with the ability to sample and/or analyze a fluid in the body (body fluid) such as blood, puss or venom. The device (100) includes at least: a body fluid reservoir for containing the sampled body fluid and a fluid extraction mechanism including at least one conduit or needle connected to a conduit injection and retraction mechanism and a vacuum reservoir. After connecting the body fluid reservoir to the sampling device, a vacuum seal of the body fluid reservoir is adapted to be broken so as to cause the sucking of the body fluid into the body fluid reservoir. The sampling device (100) aids in executing a method (200) of the invention consisting of collecting body fluid such as capillary blood samples without the intervention of medically trained personnel. The sampling device (100) enables the user to: (a) sample a body fluid, optionally auto-sampling; (b) optionally, using one or more droplet(s) of the sampled body fluid, to immediately analyze the body fluid; and (c) provide a medical analysis tube (4000) meeting size and interface standards filled with the sampled body fluid for analysis in a point of care or medical lab. The sampling device includes a vacuum tube and an interface therefor. The vacuum tube provides the suction necessary to draw the body fluid from the user/patient and to fill the vacuum tube with the body fluid.
Device for the attached flow of blood
A collection device (10) which directs a flow of blood into a container (14) and provides a controlled blood flow path that ensures blood flow from a collection site to a collection container is disclosed.
Device for Obtaining a Blood Sample
A device for obtaining a biological sample, such as a capillary blood collection device, that has the ability to lance and squeeze the finger, collect the sample, stabilize the sample, and subsequently dispense the sample in a controlled manner is disclosed. The device also simplifies and streamlines the capillary blood collection by eliminating workflow variabilities which are typically associated with low sample quality including hemolysis and micro-clots.

PUNCTURE NEEDLE AND CATHETER ASSEMBLY
A puncture needle for medical use includes: a main body that is rod-shaped and that comprises a distal end portion comprising a blade surface. The blade surface includes: a first blade surface portion that extends so as to incline with respect to a central axis of the main body, and a second blade surface portion that is formed on a back side of the first blade surface. A blade edge having a needle tip at one end is formed by a ridge line where the first blade surface portion meets the second blade surface portion. The first blade surface portion is constituted by a concave surface that is concave in a side view of the main body.
Medical needle and puncture tool
A medical needle comprising a flat puncturing part having front and back surfaces that are parallel to each other, wherein the puncturing part comprises a pair of side-surface inclined parts and provided at tips of respective side surfaces and a front-surface inclined part provided at a tip of the front surface, the pair of side-surface inclined parts and the front-surface inclined part each extend in an inclined manner relative to a puncturing direction so as to be tapered, and the tip of the front-surface inclined part adjoins a blade edge part formed by adjoining the tips of the pair of side-surface inclined parts and a depression is formed in the front surface of the puncturing part so as to partially indent the pair of side-surface inclined parts and the front-surface inclined part.
