Early detection and prevention of infectious disease transmission using location data and geofencing
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for geofencing and location tracking for predicting and limiting disease exposure. In some implementations, location tracking data is received indicating locations of user devices over time. Location tags specifying visits of the user devices to different locations indicated by the location tracking data are defined. A geofence is assigned to each of the location tags to specify a geofenced area corresponding to the location tag. Disease transmission scores are assigned to first location tags representing visits of a first user. A disease exposure score is determined for a second user whose user device is determined, based on the location tracking data, to have entered at least one of the geofenced areas corresponding to the first location tags.
METHODS FOR MODULATING CALORIE CONSUMPTION
Described herein are methods for modulating a transsynaptic signal through a neuroepithelial circuit between a gut sensory cell and the brain, as well as methods that involve modulating a transsynaptic signal through a neuroepithelial circuit between a gut sensory cell and the brain. In one aspect, the transsynaptic signal is modulated by glutamate or ATP.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTION AND MONITORING OF HEALTH PARAMETERS
Methods and apparatus provide monitoring of coughing and/or a sleep disordered breathing state of a person. One or more sensors may be configured for non-contact active and/or passive sensing. The processor(s) may extract respiratory effort signal(s) from one or more motion signals generated by active non-contact sensing with the sensor(s). The processor(s) may extract one or more energy band signals from an acoustic audio signal generated by passive non-contact sensing with the sensor(s). The processor(s) may assess the energy band signal(s) and/or the respiratory efforts signal(s) to generate intensity signal(s) representing sleep disorder breathing modulation. The processor(s) may classify feature(s) derived from the one or more intensity signals to generate measure(s) of coughing and/or sleep disordered breathing. The processor may evaluate sensing signal(s) to generate indication(s) of cough event(s) and/or cough type which may include generating an indication of a coronavirus disease or a coronavirus disease cough type.
Devices, methods and systems for assessment and recordation of reactions to stimuli
Provided herein are methods of recording objective responses of a subject to stimuli, and devices and user interfaces (UI) for use therewith. In particular, the present invention provides UIs that allow a user to record objective multivariable responses to stimuli, devices comprising such UIs, and methods of using such UIs and devices to assess the characteristics of a sample or product.
SYSTEM FOR TESTING TASTE SENSITIVITY
A system for testing a patient's taste recognition and sensitivity. The system includes a sample selector for dispensing taste test samples to the patient, and a test controller configured to determine which taste test sample to dispense to the patient. The test controller is arranged to receive taste test results from the patient associated with the dispensed taste test samples, and determine on the fly which taste test sample to dispense next, based on the received taste test results. Once a plurality of taste test samples have been dispensed to the patient in this manner, the test controller may then determine a taste sensitivity (e.g. threshold) for the patient based on the received taste test results.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING CORRUPT OR INACCURATE SENSORY REPRESENTATIONS
A system for monitoring neural activity of a living subject is provided. The system may comprise a correspondence module configured to be in communication with (1) a neural module and (2) one or more additional modules comprising a sensing module, another neural module, and/or a data storage module. The neural module(s) are configured to collect neural data indicative of perceptions experienced by the living subject. The sensing module may be configured to collect (1) sensor data indicative of real-world information about an environment around the living subject, and/or (2) sensor data indicative of a physical state or physiological state of the living subject. The data storage module may be configured to store prior neural data and/or prior sensor data. The correspondence module may be configured to measure a correspondence (a) between the neural data collected by the neural module(s) and the sensor data collected by the sensing module, (b) between the neural data collected by two or more neural modules, and/or (c) between the neural data collected by the neural module(s) and the prior data stored in data storage module. The measured correspondence can be used to determine a presence, absence, or extent of a potential cognitive or physiological disturbance of the living subject.
INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD
A management server obtains rating information indicating a second user's rating of a dish or restaurant, generates a first evaluation value of the first user's sense of taste based on a measurement test regarding the sense of taste, and generates a second evaluation value of the second user's sense of taste based on a measurement test regarding the sense of taste. One search filter for filtering dishes or restaurants based on rating results of the dishes or the restaurants rated by a second user who has a sense-of-taste characteristic similar to that of the first user is provided on a dish search screen. When the first user uses the search filter to filter dishes or restaurants, and when a first difference between the first and second evaluation values is in a first predetermined range, the second user's rating results are used to filter the dishes or the restaurant.
TESTING METHODS FOR DETERMINATION OF T2R PHENOTYPE AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
This disclosure provides methods of treating a human subject by stimulating chemosensory receptors, such as T2Rs, to increase level of phenotypic expression. Methods may include detecting phenotypic expression deficit by introducing a first agonist capable of first stimulating the chemosensory receptors by first binding thereto; detecting first stimulating; identifying a first deficit in relation to a first reference level, the first deficit being an instance of phenotypic expression deficit. Second stimulating with a second agonist may reduce the phenotypic expression deficit. Third stimulating with a therapeutic agonist may clear a respiratory illness condition by producing innate immune response.
BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An attachment unit of the biological information management system includes a body temperature measurement unit that measures a body temperature of a subject on an underarm portion and a body water measurement unit that measures body water of the subject on the underarm portion, and the body temperature measurement unit and the body water measurement unit of the attachment unit are attached to the underarm portion. The biological information transmission unit sends the body temperature of the subject measured by the body temperature measurement unit and the body water of the subject measured by the body water measurement unit to a determination unit, and the determination unit outputs a determination result of whether or not there is a possibility that the subject develops infection or heatstroke based on information of the body temperature and body water of the subject sent from the biological information transmission unit.
