Methods of imaging granzyme B, combination therapies, and kits comprising the granzyme B imaging agents are also provided.
Radiometric camera with black body elements for screening infectious disease carriers and method for calibrating a thermal camera having internal black body elements
A radiometric camera having internal black body components and a method for calibrating a radiometric camera having internal black body components. A radiometric camera includes a detector, the detector further including a thermal detector configured to capture thermal images, wherein the thermal detector is pointed in a direction, wherein the radiometric camera is adapted to receive at least one black body element in front of the detector with respect to the direction of the thermal detector, the thermal detector having a plurality of portions including at least one first portion, wherein the at least one black body element affects radiation readings by the at least one first portion of a plurality of portions of the thermal detector when disposed in the radiometric camera.
TRACKING AND REWARDING HEALTH AND FITNESS ACTIVITIES USING BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY
Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate tracking and rewarding health and fitness activities of users using blockchain technology. In an aspect, a system comprises a non-transitory memory comprising instructions, and one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read the instructions to cause the system to perform operations. The operations comprise receiving health and fitness information for entities, employing a blockchain network to store the health and fitness information for the entities, and sending a non-fungible token (NFT) to an entity of the entities in response to a subset of the health and fitness information associated with the entity satisfying a criterion.
Biomarkers for assessing breast cancer
The present invention relates to a metabolic biomarker set for use in assessing breast cancer in a mammalian subject. In particular, the invention relates to a metabolic biomarker set for screening and/or diagnosing breast cancer, the metabolic biomarker set including at least (a) one amino acid selected from glutamine, glutamate and serine, and one lipid, or (b) glutamine and glutamate. Further, the invention relates to a metabolic biomarker set for prediction of therapeutic response to breast cancer neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method for assessing breast cancer, which includes obtaining a biological sample, preferably blood, from a mammalian subject and measuring in the biological sample the amount and/or ratios of metabolites. By employing the specific biomarkers and the method according to the present invention it becomes possible to more properly and reliably assess breast cancer.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING USER PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PRESCRIBING TREATMENT PLANS TO THE USER
Technologies for evaluating a user's musculoskeletal health and prescribing treatment plans for the user based on the musculoskeletal health is provided. The disclosed techniques include a computing system receiving input data from a client device. The system formatting the input data to generate one or more sets of user characteristic data values and determining initial levels of user musculoskeletal health for the user based upon the sets of user characteristic data values. The system selects a set of treatment plans for the user based on the initial levels of user musculoskeletal health. The system presents the set of treatment plans to the user using media that allows the user to interactively perform exercises prescribed in the treatment plan.
Diagnostic cassette
A diagnostic cassette includes a substrate, to physically and electrically connect the product to a computing device, a reservoir defined within the substrate to receive a fluid sample for processing by the diagnostic cassette, a reagent to react with the fluid sample deposited in the reservoir to form a solution to enable processing of the fluid sample by the diagnostic cassette, a channel to direct the solution, and a sensor to measure a number of parameters of the solution passing through the channel. A method for measuring microfluidic samples includes receiving, in a reservoir, a fluid sample to be measured, combining the fluid sample with a reagent to create a solution, moving the solution through a channel, and measuring the solution, using sensors, as the solution passes through the channel.
METHODS FOR CANCER TREATMENT
The present invention relates to novel surgical drains and associated methods and systems. Specifically, the present invention includes a surgical drain with at least two ports. A first port drains lymphatic fluid from a subject for collection and analysis. The second port functions to introduce a therapeutic into the subject.
System and Method for Detecting Presence of Illness Symptoms
A system and method for collecting symptomatic data to screen for a targeted disease. Testing hardware incorporates a plurality of testing units with corresponding indicators that can be altered to indicate whether a symptom is present or not. The resulting data from the testing use can then be analyzed to determine the likelihood of presence of a disease.
Method and System for Improving a Physiological Response
A system and method for determining the immune status or immune cycle in a subject is provided. A sampling component for obtaining physiological data from the subject is provided together with a data storage component for storing the physiological data obtained from the subject. A processing component is provided to analyse the physiological data and thereby determine the immune status or periodicity of the immune cycle and the immune cycle of the subject. An output component for outputting the immune status or periodicity of the immune cycle, and the immune cycle of the subject and/or the future status or immune cycle of the subject is provided.
BIOMARKERS FOR ASSESSING BREAST CANCER
The present invention relates to a metabolic biomarker set for use in assessing breast cancer in a mammalian subject. In particular, the invention relates to a metabolic biomarker set for screening and/or diagnosing breast cancer, the metabolic biomarker set comprising at least (a) one amino acid selected from glutamine, glutamate and serine, and one lipid, or (b) glutamine and glutamate. Further, the invention relates to a metabolic biomarker set for prediction of therapeutic response to breast cancer neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Further, the invention relates to a metabolic biomarker set for assessing biochemical reflection of breast cancer tumor activity. Further, the invention relates to a metabolic biomarker set for subclassification between intrinsic breast cancer tumor subtypes. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method for assessing breast cancer, which comprises obtaining a biological sample, preferably blood, from a mammalian subject and measuring in the biological sample the amount and/or ratios of metabolites. By employing the specific biomarkers and the method according to the present invention it becomes possible to more properly and reliably assess breast cancer.
