Scale-based user-physiological heuristic systems
11561126 · 2023-01-24 · ·

Certain aspects of the disclosure are directed to an apparatus including a scale and external circuitry. The scale includes a platform, and data-procurement circuitry for collecting signals indicative of the user's identity and cardio-physiological measurements. The scale includes processing circuitry to process data obtained by the data-procurement circuitry, therefrom generate cardio-related physiologic data, and to send user data to the external circuitry. The external circuitry identifies a risk that the user has a condition based on the reference information and the user data provided by the scale and outputs generic information correlating to the condition to the scale that is tailored based on the identified risk.

WASTE IDENTIFICATION METHOD, WASTE IDENTIFICATION DEVICE, AND WASTE IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM

An excreta identification device includes: a sound data acquisition unit that acquires sound data collected by a microphone arranged in a toilet; an excreta identification unit that identifies which of defecation, urination, and farting has been performed by inputting the acquired sound data to an identification model subjected to machine learning where sound data indicating any of defecation sound, urination sound, and farting sound is an input value, and which of defecation, urination, and farting has been performed is an output value; and an identification result output unit that outputs an identification result.

Information processing apparatus and information processing method

An information processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a processing circuit. The processing circuit acquires a measurement field corresponding to a spatial distribution of a predetermined physical quantity in a subject of measurement. The processing circuit calculates an unknown quantity in the subject of measurement based on a first equation between the measurement field and the unknown quantity having spatial dependence, and on the acquired measurement field. The first equation is one that is acquired based on a second equation expressing a dual field divergence of which can be expressed using the measurement field, by using the measurement field and the unknown quantity, and on the Helmholtz decomposition of the dual field.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AIDING NON-CONTACT DETECTOR PLACEMENT IN NON-CONTACT PATIENT MONITORING SYSTEMS

Systems and methods for aiding a clinician in the proper positioning, placing or otherwise locating of a non-contact detector component of a non-contact patient monitoring system are described. The systems and methods may employ a targeting aid superimposed on a display screen component of the non-contact patient monitoring system, the targeting aid being designed to assist the clinician in properly locating the non-contact detector for proper and accurate functioning of the non-contact patient monitoring system. The systems and methods described herein may also employ a bendable mounting arm to which the non-contact detector is attached such that the non-contact detector can be easily moved into the proper location when used in conjunction with the targeting aid superimposed on the display.

APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING STRESS
20220409850 · 2022-12-29 ·

There is provided herein a stress reducing and/or mindfulness inducing apparatus including: a substantially spherically shaped body “huggable” by two hands of a user; at least a first and a second pair of indentations located on an outer surface of said body, wherein each of the first and the second pair of indentations is suitable for placing corresponding index, middle and ring fingers from each hand of the user, wherein each of the first and the second pair of indentations comprises one or more sensors, wherein the one or more sensors are configured to sense one or more parameters associated with the user's stress and/or mindfulness state, wherein the sensors are the same or different from each other; and an indicator having at least two modes of operation, the indicator is configured to provide the user with an indication regarding his/her stress and/or mindfulness state.

MONITORING SYSTEM FOR A FEEDING BOTTLE

A monitoring system is provided for a feeding bottle, in particular a feeding bottle for feeding milk to a baby. Motion of the feeding bottle is sensed during feeding and a sucking performance is determined from the motion characteristics, in particular to identify whether the feeding is based on suckling or sucking.

INFANT MONITORING SYSTEM DURING FEEDING

A monitoring system is provided for monitoring an infant during bottle feeding. Based on bottle orientation information and movement information in respect of the feeding bottle during feeding, infant orientation information in respect of the infant is obtained.

Systems and methods for determining a region of interest in medical imaging

A method for determining an ROI in medical imaging may include receiving first position information related to a body contour of a subject with respect to a support from a flexible device configured with a plurality of position sensors. The flexible device may be configured to conform to the body contour of the subject, and the support may be configured to support the subject. The method may also include generating a 3D model of the subject based on the first position information. The method may further include determining an ROI of the subject based on the 3D model of the subject.

TWO-PROCESS SLEEP WHEEL
20220395220 · 2022-12-15 ·

A wheel chart for visualizing sleep pressure on a person's body by manipulating a series of moveable circular disks positioned on a common axis wherein the wheel includes a first disk representing a circadian (C) process and second disk representing a homeostatic (S) process. The disks are rotatable relative to each other to simulate how the C and S processes increase and decrease sleep pressure.
