An ultrasound imaging system computes real time physiological parameters from measurements of anatomical features in ultrasound image data using a neural network to identify the location of the anatomical features. In one embodiment, cardiac parameters are computed from endocardial wall tracings in M-mode ultrasound image data that are identified by the neural network.

Disclosed are systems and methods using ultrasound to predict if a patient's cardiac stroke volume will increase with a fluid bolus. Ultrasound measures are taken before administering a fluid bolus, including measurement of the left ventricular outflow tract velocity time integral (LVOT VTI), and venous measurements of the internal jugular vein. Data collected from such ultrasound scan is then used to predict the patient's cardiac volume response in the event that a fluid bolus is administered to that patient.

Methods and systems for medical imaging based analysis of ejection fraction and fetal heart functions

Systems and methods are provided for enhanced heart medical imaging operations, particularly as by incorporating use of artificial intelligence (AI) based fetal heart functional analysis and/or real-time and automatic ejection fraction (EF) measurement and analysis.

Anatomically intelligent echochardiography for point-of-care

An apparatus includes an imaging probe and is configured for dynamically arranging presentation of visual feedback for guiding manual adjustment, via the probe, of a location, and orientation, associated with the probe. The arranging is selectively based on comparisons between fields of view of the probe and respective results of segmenting image data acquired via the probe. In an embodiment, the apparatus includes a sensor which guides a decision that acoustic coupling quality is insufficient, the apparatus issuing a user alert upon the decision.

Embodiments include a system for determining cardiovascular information for a patient. The system may include at least one computer system configured to receive patient-specific data regarding a geometry of the patient's heart, and create a three-dimensional model representing at least a portion of the patient's heart based on the patient-specific data. The at least one computer system may be further configured to create a physics-based model relating to a blood flow characteristic of the patient's heart and determine a fractional flow reserve within the patient's heart based on the three-dimensional model and the physics-based model.

Augmented Imaging For Valve Repair

Systems and methods for augmenting image data during heart valve repair procedures, such as transcatheter mitral valve repair (TMVr) or transcatheter tricuspid valve repair (TTVr). Image data may be obtained from an imaging device, and may be output to a display with one or more reference markers overlaid on the image data to simplify the visual data. Image data may be augmented or replaced with the reference markers. In some cases, reference markers may provide information about objects that are difficult to see in the image data. In other cases, the reference markers may provide clinical recommendations or feedback.

HEMODYNAMII PARAMETER ESTIMATION

An apparatus and method for estimating one or more hemodynamic parameters such as cardiac output or stroke volume. Embodiments are based on the concept of incorporating information about vascular tone into hemodynamic parameter estimation to improve accuracy. More particularly, embodiments use a measurement of a time duration for a blood pulse to travel from the heart along a certain length of an arterial path as a proxy measure for vascular tone, and incorporate this into hemodynamic parameter estimation. Embodiments are also based on incorporating vascular tone proxy measurements for multiple different arterial paths to take account of vascular tone variations between different portions of the circulatory system.

METHOD FOR ESTIMATING HEMODYNAMIC PARAMETERS
20230210491 · 2023-07-06 ·

A method and system for deriving one or more hemodynamic parameters based on blood-velocity and arterial diameter measures, or parameters proportional thereto, each sampled recurrently or continuously over a time period to obtain for each a data series spanning a time window (i.e. a waveform). This is used, preferably in combination with at least one further physiological parameter, for example heart rate, to derive one or more hemodynamic parameters. A transfer function or machine learning model is used to process the inputs to obtain the estimated hemodynamic parameters.
