Ultrasound image devices, systems, and methods are provided. An ultrasound imaging system comprising a processor circuit in communication with an ultrasound transducer array, the processor circuit configured to receive, from the ultrasound transducer array, a set of images of a three-dimensional (3D) volume of a patients anatomy including an anatomical feature; obtain first measurement data of the anatomical feature in a first image of the set of images; generate second measurement data for the anatomical feature in one or more images of the set of images by propagating the first measurement data from the first image to the one or more images; and output, to a display in communication with the processor circuit, the second measurement data for the anatomical feature.

MEDICAL SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR MEDICAL SYSTEM

A medical system includes: an endoscope; an ultrasonic probe; and a control device that is connected to the endoscope and the ultrasonic probe, generates a display image from a captured image acquired by the endoscope, and generates an echo image from an ultrasonic wave acquired by the ultrasonic probe, wherein the control device acquires a first echo image in which a target tissue is displayed on a central axis, acquires a second echo image obtained by scanning a cross section different from the first echo image at a reference position of the ultrasonic probe from which the first echo image was acquired, and compares a central axis of the second echo image with a position of the target tissue in the second echo image.

An ultrasound diagnosis apparatus including: an ultrasound probe having a transducer array; and a processor configured to: perform transmission and reception of an ultrasonic beam from the transducer array toward a subject, into which contrast media including microbubbles is introduced; image a reception signal output from the transducer array to generate an ultrasound image of the subject; acquire trajectories of the microbubbles in a one cross section of the subject by tracking movement of the microbubbles based on the ultrasound image corresponding to the one cross section of the subject; detect, as a feature point, a trajectory, in which a distance between a start point and an end point in a prescribed time range is less than a prescribed value, among the trajectories of the microbubbles; and display the ultrasound image, the acquired trajectories and the detected feature point on the display unit.

Methods and apparatuses for guiding collection of ultrasound data using motion and/or orientation data

Aspects of the technology described herein relate to guiding collection of ultrasound data collection using motion and/or orientation data. A first instruction for rotating or tilting the ultrasound imaging device to a default orientation may be provided. Based on determining that the ultrasound imaging device is in the default orientation, a second instruction for translating the ultrasound imaging device to a target position may be provided. Based on determining that the ultrasound imaging device is in the target position, a third instruction for rotating or tilting the ultrasound imaging device to a target orientation may be provided.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ACQUIRING ULTRASONIC DATA

Methods for acquiring ultrasonic data from a scanner constructed for B-mode scans are disclosed. An image-acquiring system is provided. A three-dimensional target region is selected. A model of the target region comprising a plurality of target locations representing a plurality of planned locations in the target region at which ultrasonic data is to be acquired is created, and a visual representation of the model comprising a plurality of graphical elements is displayed. Ultrasonic data at each of the planned locations is acquired. A transformation of the visual representation is executed, comprising: performing a data quality test at each target location; for any target location that fails the data quality test, altering a graphical element corresponding to the failed target location to indicate failure of the data quality test at that location; and displaying a transformed visual representation comprising updated graphical elements on the visual display

Ultrasound imaging apparatus for registering ultrasound image with image from another modality and method of operating ultrasound imaging apparatus

Provided are an ultrasound imaging apparatus and an operation method for registering an ultrasound image and an image from another modality. The ultrasound imaging apparatus may register the ultrasound image and the image from the other modality based on a three-dimensional positional relationship between at least one external electromagnetic sensor attached to a patient's body and an ultrasound probe and on a position of a feature point extracted from the image from the other modality.

In some embodiments, an apparatus and methods for inserting a needle into a patient is disclosed. An apparatus can include a base having a cavity for receiving an ultrasound probe, a swing arm, a first linear position sensing track, a second linear position sensing track, an angle sensor disposed about a pivot point, a needle holder configured to move along the first linear position sensing track, and an insertion depth slider configured to move along the second linear position sensing track.

System and method for treatment of gastroesophageal varices

The present disclosure relates to the field of endoscopy. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to delivery systems and methods for coagulating sites of bleeding within mucosal tissues, and in particular, for eradicating esophageal varices.

Systems and methods for noise reduction in imaging

Systems and methods are provided for the denoising of images in the presence of broadband noise based on the detection and/or estimation of in-band noise. According to various example embodiments, an estimate of broadband noise that lies within the imaging band is made by detecting or characterizing the out-of-band noise that lies outside of the imaging band. This estimated in-band noise may be employed for denoise the detected imaging waveform. According to other example embodiments, a reference receive circuit that is sensitive to noise within the imaging band, but is isolated from the imaging energy, may be employed to detect and/or characterize the noise within the imaging band. The estimated reference noise may be employed to denoise the detected in-band imaging waveform.
