Ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, medical image processing apparatus, and non-transitory computer medium storing computer program
The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to the present embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to: acquire multiple position data associated with respective multiple two-dimensional image data of ultrasonic related to multiple cross sections; smooth the acquired multiple position data; and arrange the multiple two-dimensional image data in accordance with the smoothed multiple position data to generate volume data.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR COLLECTION OF ULTRASOUND DATA
Technology for guiding a user to collect clinically usable ultrasound images is described. In some embodiments, an ultrasound device may automatically change the elevational steering angle of its ultrasound beam (e.g., using beamforming) in order to collect ultrasound data from different imaging planes within the subject. A processing device in operative communication with the ultrasound device may select one of the collected ultrasound images based on its quality (e.g., select the ultrasound image having the highest quality), and then continue to collect ultrasound images using the elevational steering angle at which the selected ultrasound image was collected.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED FLUID RESPONSE MEASUREMENT
A device is provided for automatically assessing functional hemodynamic properties of a patient is provided, the device comprising: a housing; an ultrasound unit coupled to the housing and adapted for adducing ultrasonic waves into the patient at a vessel; a detector adapted to sense signals obtained as a result of adducing ultrasonic waves into the patient at the vessel and to record the; and a processor adapted for receiving the recorded signals as data and transforming the data for output at an interface. Other devices, systems, methods, and/or computer-readable media may be provided in relation to assessing functional hemodynamics of a patient.
TISSUE STATE GRAPHIC DISPLAY SYSTEM
A system is provided for augmenting a three-dimensional (3D) model of a heart to indicate the tissue state. The system accesses a 3D model of a heart, accesses two-dimensional (2D) images of tissue state slices of the heart, and accesses source location information of an arrhythmia. The system augments the 3D model with an indication of a source location based on the source location information. For each of a plurality of the tissue state slices of the heart, the system augments a 3D model slice of the 3D model that corresponds to that tissue state slice with an indication of the tissue state of the heart represented by the tissue state information of that tissue state slice. The system then displays a representation of the 3D model that indicates the source location of the arrhythmia and the tissue state of the heart.
System and method for orientating capture of ultrasound images
A downloadable navigator for a mobile ultrasound unit having an ultrasound probe, implemented on a portable computing device. The navigator includes a trained orientation neural network to receive a non-canonical image of a body part from the mobile ultrasound unit and to generate a transformation associated with the non-canonical image, the transformation transforming from a position and rotation associated with a canonical image to a position and rotation associated with the non-canonical image; and a result converter to convert the transformation into orientation instructions for a user of the probe and to provide and display the orientation instructions to the user to change the position and rotation of the probe.
SHEAR WAVE ELASTROGRAPHY METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMAGING AN ANISOTROPIC MEDIUM
A shear wave elastography method for imaging an observation field in an anisotropic medium, including an initial ultrasonic acquisition step during which initial physical parameters are acquired in at least one region of interest; a spatial characterization step during which a set of spatial characteristics of the anisotropic medium is determined on the basis of the initial physical parameter; an excitation substep during which an shear wave is generated inside the anisotropic medium on the basis of the set of spatial characteristics; and an observation substep during which the propagation of the shear wave is observed simultaneously at a multitude of points in the observation field.
Integrated system for intravascular placement of a catheter
An integrated catheter placement system for placing a catheter in a vasculature of a patient. The system includes a system console with a tip location mode and an ultrasound mode viewable on a display, a magnetic assembly emanating a magnetic field, a tip location sensor designed to sense the magnetic field, and an ultrasound probe for ultrasonically imaging an internal portion of the patient. The magnetic field may provide magnetic field information for locating the magnetic assembly relative to the tip location sensor. The tip location sensor is designed to communicate the magnetic field information to the system console. The system console is designed to display an icon representative of a location of the magnetic assembly relative to the tip location sensor in the tip location mode.
APPARATUS, METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR OBTAINING INFORMATION DERIVED FROM ULTRASONIC WAVES AND PHOTOACOUSTIC WAVES
An apparatus according to an aspect of the present invention includes a first obtaining unit configured to obtain an ultrasound image generated by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves to and from an object, a display control unit configured to control a display unit to display the ultrasound image, a second obtaining unit configured to obtain a photoacoustic signal generated by receiving photoacoustic waves generated from light irradiated to the object, and a saving control unit configured to obtain information representing a save instruction given when the ultrasound image is being displayed, and configured to save in a storage unit the ultrasound image corresponding to a time point of the save instruction and information derived from the photoacoustic signal based on the information representing the save instruction.
Methods and systems for shear wave elastography
Various methods and systems are provided for ultrasound imaging. In one embodiment, a method comprises acquiring, with an ultrasound transducer of a scanning apparatus during an ultrasound scan of a patient, an ultrasound image, detecting, with an artificial intelligence model, a region of interest within the ultrasound image including a possible tumor, acquiring, with the ultrasound transducer, an elastic image of tissue within the region of interest, and displaying, with a display device, the elastic image. In this way, shear wave elastography may be automatically targeted to a region of interest, thereby reducing the processing load for the analysis and enabling a higher elasticity imaging frame rate for three-dimensional ultrasound imaging.
SYSTEM FOR 3D MULTI-PARAMETRIC ULTRASOUND IMAGING
Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate obtaining two dimensional (2D) ultrasound images, using two or more ultrasound imaging modes or modalities, to generate 2D multi-parametric ultrasound (mpUS) images and/or to generate a three-dimensional (3D) mpUS image. The different ultrasound imaging modes acquire images in a common frame of reference during a single procedure to facilitate their registration. The mpUS images (i.e., 2D or 3D) may be used for enhanced and/or automated detection of one or more suspicious regions. After identifying one or more suspicious regions, the mpUS images may be utilized with a real-time image to guide biopsy or therapy the region(s). All these processes may be performed in a single medical procedure.
