NONINVASIVE TISSUE DISPLACEMENT CONTROL AND MONITORING FOR NEUROMODULATION

The subject matter of the present disclosure generally relates to techniques for neuromodulation that include applying energy (e.g., ultrasound energy) into an internal tissue to cause tissue displacement and identifying that the tissue displacement has occurred. In one embodiment, the presence of tissue displacement is associated with a desired therapeutic or physiological outcome, such as a change in a molecule of interest.

Ultrasound analysis apparatus and method for tissue elasticity and viscosity based on the hormonic signals

According to one embodiment, an analysis apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry configured to generate a harmonic signal and a fundamental wave signal based on a reception signal that is collected by an ultrasound probe, the harmonic signal corresponding to a harmonic component of a reflected wave of a ultrasound generated in the subject, the fundamental wave signal corresponding to a fundamental wave component of the reflected wave, calculate a first index value indicating tissue properties of the subject based on the harmonic signal, and calculate a second index value indicating the tissue properties based on the fundamental wave signal, and display an analysis result based on the first index value and the second index value.

Method and apparatus for selecting power states in an ultrasound imaging system

An ultrasound imaging system includes a processor that is programmed to operate the system in a normal operating state and two or more lesser power states. The processor lowers the operating power state to a lesser power state upon detecting one or more operating conditions such as no tissue been imaged in a predetermined time limit or that the imaging system or transducer has not been moved in a time limit. Upon awakening from a power off state, the processor implements a lesser power state before operating at the normal operating state to avoid undue power use until the transducer is positioned to image tissue.

ANATOMICAL FEATURE EXTRACTION AND PRESENTATION USING AUGMENTED REALITY

An ultrasound probe captures real-time images of patient anatomy, which are analyzed by a processor to extract salient features pertaining to an anatomical structure. By tracking the location and orientation of the ultrasound probe, a model of that anatomical structure can be created. A visual indication of the position of segments of the anatomical structure can be presented holographically to a user of an augmented reality headset to provide information extracted from the ultrasound imaging, such as holographic display of a model of the anatomical structure at the approximate location of the visual field of the headset corresponding to the physical location of the actual anatomy being viewed by a user, without presenting the entirety of the ultrasound image to the user.

AUTOMATED BREAST ULTRASOUND EQUIPMENT AND METHODS USING ENHANCED NAVIGATOR AIDS

A method and system acquiring, processing and displaying breast ultrasound images in a way that makes breast ultrasound screening more practical and thus more widely used, and reduces the occurrence of missing cancers in screening and diagnosis, using automated scanning of chestwardly compressed breasts with ultrasound. Enhanced, whole-breast navigator overview images are produced from scanning breasts with ultrasound that emphasize abnormalities in the breast while excluding obscuring influences of non-breast structures, particularly those external to the breast such as ribs and chest wall, and differentiating between likely malignant and likely benign abnormalities and otherwise enhancing the navigator overview image and other images, thereby reducing the time to read, screen, and/or diagnose to practical time limits and also reduce screening or diagnostic errors.

The ultrasound imaging system further includes a console with a transducer controller that controls the at least one element, a transducer processor that processes information detected by the at least one element, and a display controller that controls display of the processed information. The ultrasound imaging system further includes a display monitor with a first image display region. The ultrasound imaging system further includes a touch screen keyboard with a second image display region, wherein the display monitor and the touch screen keyboard are separate devices.

DELIVERY OF THERAPEUTIC NEUROMODULATION

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to techniques for neuromodulation delivery. Based on image data acquired from the subject, control parameters controlling energy application of neuromodulating energy may be dynamically changed during the course of the delivery to maintain desired characteristics of the neuromodulating energy. For example, the beam of the neuromodulating energy may be dynamically adjusted to account for movement of an organ during breathing. In another embodiment, a desired region of interest is identified within the subject based on a trained neural network and the acquired image data.

Methods for lifting skin tissue

Methods for treating skin and subcutaneous tissue with energy such as ultrasound energy are disclosed. In various embodiments, ultrasound energy is applied at a region of interest to affect tissue by cutting, ablating, micro-ablating, coagulating, or otherwise affecting the subcutaneous tissue to conduct numerous procedures that are traditionally done invasively in a non-invasive manner. Methods of lifting sagging tissue are described.

Ultrasound imaging apparatus for registering ultrasound image with image from another modality and method of operating ultrasound imaging apparatus
