DENTAL INSTRUMENT PRESSURE INDICATION
The disclosure relates to rotary instrument indication systems. Also disclosed herein are rotary tools including indication systems. The indication systems can include a pressure sensor that can monitor force or pressured applied through a rotary instrument. A pressure indicator can also provide a feedback indication when the monitored force or pressure reaches or exceeds a predefined threshold. In some aspects, the rotary instrument is a dental drill.
METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR CLEANING OF A CANAL
A method and an arrangement for the cleaning of a circumferentially closed canal using a light guide conducting a laser beam, with the entry of the laser beam into the light guide being interrupted when the free end of the light guide is outside of the canal and/or the movement of the light guide within the canal is monitored and if there is no movement or the movement is below a first threshold value then a signal is triggered and/or the laser radiation is turned off or its output is reduced. The turning off of the laser radiation or its reducing is controlled in dependency of at least one signal change and/or a second threshold and/or a signal change relative to the second threshold determined during at least one course of time starting before and including the entry of the light guide into the canal.
DENTAL MACHINING SYSTEM FOR PREDICTING THE WEAR CONDITION OF A DENTAL TOOL
A dental machining system for manufacturing a dental restoration including: a dental tool machine (1) which has: a dental blank holder for holding at least one dental blank (2) relatively movably with respect to one or more dental tools (3); one or more driving units (4) each for movably holding at least one dental tool (3) for machining the dental blank (2), a control unit for controlling the dental blank holder and the driving units (4) based at least on a temporal trajectory of the dental tool (3) relative to the dental blank (2) and a spatial amount of material removal from the dental blank (2) along the temporal trajectory. The control unit executes a trained artificial intelligence algorithm.
Dental instrument, control method thereof, and three-dimensional measuring
A handheld dental instrument includes a casing provided with a holding portion to be held by a user, a reception unit provided on the casing to receive an operation from the user, and a control unit that controls a control target to perform a predetermined action in response to the operation received by the reception unit. The control unit performs a first control when the operation received by the reception unit from the user is a first operation, and performs a second control different from the first control when the operation received by the reception unit from the user is a second operation different from the first operation.
WATERPROOF ORAL IRRIGATOR
A waterproof oral irrigator including an oral irrigator housing which is provided with a sliding recess on an outer wall thereof; a push switch slidably fitted with the sliding recess and provided with a magnetic element; and a control circuit board arranged inside the oral irrigator housing and being provided with a plurality of Hall elements. A plurality of Hall elements are sequentially disposed at intervals along a sliding direction of a push switch. When the push switch slides along the sliding recess, the magnetic element can be driven to move to positions sensed by the plurality of Hall elements in sequence. Since the outer wall of the oral irrigator housing is provided with the sliding recess, and the sliding recess is not communicated with the interior of the oral irrigator, so that the waterproof performance of the oral irrigator can be greatly improved.
Information and data logging system for use in a dental environment
Disclosed is an information and data logging system for use in a dental environment. The dental environment comprising a dental unit including a number of individual selectable dental instruments and at least one instrument control unit for controlling the operation of a selected dental instrument. The information and data logging system comprises: a processing unit; and one or more displays for displaying information related to a dental treatment and one or more input units, both the one or more displays and the one or more input units being operatively connectable to said processing unit. The processing unit is configured to enable a user to select using the one or more input units a selected alternative sequence of steps of one or more alternative sequences of steps.
Method and arrangement for cleaning of a canal
The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for the cleaning of a circumferentially closed canal by means of a light guide conducting a laser beam, wherein the entry of the laser beam into the light guide is interrupted when the free end of the light guide is outside of the canal and/or the movement of the light guide within the canal is monitored and if there is no movement or the movement is below a first threshold value then a signal is triggered and/or the laser radiation is turned off or its output is reduced, and wherein the turning off of the laser radiation or its reducing is controlled in dependency of at least one signal change and/or a second threshold and/or a signal change relative to the second threshold determined during at least one course of time starting before and including the entry of the light guide into the canal.
Method and tool for measuring osseous quality
The present invention relates to a device and a method for measuring osseous quality.
Dental laser apparatus and method of use with interchangeable hand piece and variable foot pedal
A dental laser system for treatment of hard and/or soft tissue includes a main chamber housing optical and primary fluid supply subsystems, for directing a laser beam and fluid to a treatment area. A hand piece affixable to the main chamber, includes mating optical and secondary fluid supply subsystems. The hand piece can be rotatable or re-orientable about an optical axis within the hand piece. A lock can maintain a selectable angular orientation of the hand piece relative to the main chamber. A coupling can maintain a fluidic communication between the primary and secondary fluid supply subsystems even when the hand piece is rotated or re-oriented. A sensor and controller can sense a selected angular orientation of the hand piece and adjust the main optical subsystem according to the sensed angular orientation, to align the two optical subsystems. The laser may be controlled using a variable speed foot pedal.
Dental system
A medical or dental system with at least one first transmitting and/or receiving unit and at least one second transmitting and/or receiving unit, wherein the at least two transmitting and/or receiving units are designed for the capacitive coupling of electric signals into and/or out of a human body, so that an electric path which extends through the human body of the user and/or of the person to be treated can be established for the transmission of electric signals between the at least one first transmitting and/or receiving unit and the at least one second transmitting and/or receiving unit, in order to transmit data between the at least two transmitting and/or receiving units.
