DENTAL TOOL AND DENTAL SYSTEM
The invention relates to a dental tool having a shank region, which is formed for coupling to a dental handpiece, and also having a work region, which is connected to the shank region. In this case, the shank region of the dental tool is formed so that there is the possibility of latchable insertion and removal without actuation. In particular, at least the shank region can consist of plastics material. As a result, inter alia facilitated handling of the tool and inexpensive production of the tool are rendered possible.

SELECTIVE COUPLING DEVICE FOR A COLLET CHUCK
The present invention relates to a transmission rotor for a handpiece (1) suitable to dental or chirurgical applications, comprising a device for clamping a drilling tool (100), able to be actuated in rotation about an axis of rotation (R) by means of a drive mechanism which comprises a drive shaft (2) rotatable about the said axis of rotation (R).
The clamping device comprises a clamp (4) disposed inside the drive shaft (2) for axially securing the drilling tool (100) with respect to the axis of rotation (R), the clamp (4) co-operating with a plunger (5) for releasing the drilling tool (100), as well as a radial guide bush (3) of the drilling tool, rotating integrally with the drive shaft (2), and wherein it comprises a selective angular coupling mechanism (C.sub.s) between the clamp (4) and the guide bush (3) or the drive shaft (2) directly, according to the chosen preferred embodiment; the selective angular coupling mechanism (C.sub.s) exerting an angular holding torque (C) between the clamp (4) and the guide bush (3) or respectively the drive shaft (2), the value of which being inferior to that corresponding to the slip threshold between the said clamp (4) and the drilling tool (100).
Subassembly for dental care or surgical handpiece, dental care or surgical handpiece, and associated assembly method
A subassembly for a dental care or surgical handpiece comprises a push button (16) comprising a contact surface (23) adapted to receive a manual pressure able to actuate the push button (16) slidably in a sliding direction. This subassembly further comprises a piece (21) for retaining the push button (16), as well as a bayonet device (28a, 33, 35) able to keep assembled the push button (16) and the retaining piece (21).
DENTAL COMPONENT WITH AN INTERFACE
The present invention addresses above-noted objectives by providing a dental component that includes a coronal end, an apical end, and a longitudinal axis extending between the coronal end and the apical end. The dental component also includes an interface for assembly to another dental component, the interface comprising at least one indexing section for rotationally locking the dental component to the other dental component and at least one guiding section. The at least one guiding section and the at least one indexing section alternate about the longitudinal axis, wherein the guiding section includes an apically facing or coronally facing guiding surface. Further, a tangent to at least a portion of the guiding surface has a slope towards the next indexing section about the longitudinal axis.
COUPLING FOR PERSONAL CARE DEVICE
A first component (16) for a personal care device comprises a first coupling interface for allowing the first component (16) to be releasably and repeatably coupled to a second component for the personal care device via a second coupling interface of the second component. The first coupling interface comprising a portion of material (38) that can change shape with changes in temperature to couple the first coupling interface to the second coupling interface. The portion of the material (38; 60) is configured to deform during coupling and uncoupling, and to revert towards an original shape after the first coupling interface and the second coupling interface have been coupled or uncoupled. The invention also provides a personal care device (10) comprising the first component (16; 12), and the second component (12; 16) having the second coupling interface.
Disposable Dental Tool
A disposable dental tool includes a disposable handpiece and a bit mount and dismount device. The disposable handpiece includes an elongated handle body, a drill head provided at one end of the handle body, and a through holding channel for holding a drill bit thereat. The bit mount and dismount device includes a handheld actuator having a thumb pusher surface and an opposed bit pusher surface, and a pusher bit protruded from the bit pusher surface. The thumb pusher surface of the handheld actuator is held to push the bit pusher surface thereof toward the drill head for mounting the drill bit at the disposable handpiece by pushing the drill bit through the through holding channel and for dismounting the drill bit at the disposable handpiece by pushing the drill bit out of the through holding channel via the pusher bit.
Dental implant screwdriver harness system
A dental implant screwdriver harness system enables a dentist to restrain and stabilize an implant screwdriver, while simultaneously turning the driver head using only one hand. A tether attached to the dentist's hand/finger connects to a stepped socket assembly, comprising multiple driver sockets, which seat driver heads of several standard diameters. A flexible perforated driver shaft strap wraps over the driver shaft and holds the driver head down against a central socket base.
