ROOT CANAL TREATMENT DEVICE
A root canal treatment device relates to the technical field of dental treatment instruments. The root canal treatment device comprises a contra-angle hand-piece (10) and a root canal file (20) detachably connected to the contra-angle hand-piece (10), and further comprises a drive module (30) in transmission connection with the root canal file (20), the drive module (30) comprises a rotation driver (31) and a vibration generator (32), wherein the rotation driver (31) is configured to drive the root canal file (20) to rotate axially, so as to mechanically cut and ream the root canal, thus shaping the root canal, and the vibration generator (32) is configured to drive the root canal file (20) to vibrate radially. Vibration of the root canal file (20) at a specific frequency can sufficiently activate the activity of the drug material filled in the root canal, especially in the process of filling the drug material into the root canal, the vibration provided by the vibration generator (32) and the rotation of the root canal file (20) that are carried out simultaneously can efficiently discharge the air bubbles in the drug material filled in the root canal, so that the drug material can be tightly filled into the root canal, thereby providing a better environment for subsequent root canal treatment, improving the effect of root canal treatment, and relieving the patients' pain.
MEDICAL OR DENTAL TREATMENT DEVICE AND TOOL FOR SUCH A TREATMENT DEVICE
A medical or dental treatment device comprises a tool retainer, a measuring coil and an evaluation device. The tool retainer can be connected to a plurality of different tools. The measuring coil can be supplied with a periodic electrical energy. The evaluation device can be connected to the measuring coil for detecting whether a tool is connected to the treatment device or which of a plurality of tools is connected to the treatment device. On the basis of an electromagnetic (e.g., inductive) coupling between the tool accommodated in the tool retainer and the measuring coil supplied with the periodic energy, a periodic measurement signal specific to each tool can be generated and assigned by the evaluation device to the tool. The evaluation device determines the phase shift of the electrical voltage and of the electric current of the periodic measurement signal.
TOOTH ROOT CANAL IRRIGATION ASSEMBLY FOR CLEANING TOOTH ROOT CANALS
A root canal irrigation assembly, comprising a vacuum device, a suction element having an elongate suction tip, and a sonic device having a sonic handpiece for introducing sonic vibrations into the suction element and thus causing the suction tip to vibrate, wherein the rear end of the suction element is connected to the vacuum device such that an irrigation fluid containing tissue residues and/or bacteria can be suctioned out of a root canal. The suction element comprises an internal vibrator which is held in the suction tip and projects out of the front end thereof, wherein the suction tip and the internal vibrator are interconnected at their rear ends, wherein the suction tip is resiliently formed and dimensioned such that, when the suction tip is introduced into a root canal, the suction tip sealingly closes the root canal in the region of the root canal wall.
Coupler for an air/water syringe that prevents a quick release tip from rotating relative to the syringe's hand piece
An air/water dental syringe includes a hand-piece, a coupler, and a tip that is releasably coupled with the hand-piece. The coupler includes a collar that releasably engages the hand-piece, and a cap that releasably engages the collar. The cap includes a body having a first end, a second end, and a cavity located between the first end and the second end, such that when the cap engages the collar, the collar extends into the cavity through the first end. The cap also includes a receiver located at the second end of the body. The tip includes a tube, and a post mounted to the tube. The tube has a first end that extends extend through the cap and the collar of the coupler and releasably engages the hand-piece, and a second end operable to dispense air/water from the tip. The post extends away from the first end of the tube and is sized and configured to extend into the cap's receiver to prevent the tip from rotating relative to the hand-piece.
DENTAL TOOL AND DENTAL SYSTEM
The invention relates to a dental tool having a shank region, which is formed for coupling to a dental handpiece, and also having a work region, which is connected to the shank region. In this case, the shank region of the dental tool is formed so that there is the possibility of latchable insertion and removal without actuation. In particular, at least the shank region can consist of plastics material. As a result, inter alia facilitated handling of the tool and inexpensive production of the tool are rendered possible.

Tooth enamel replacement
A method for performing enamel replacement on a tooth in the mouth of a person, the method including: beginning an arch reformulation therapy (ART) process, selecting a tooth for an enamel replacement process to be performed on, identifying a surface of the tooth to have a dental composite material adhered to as part of the enamel replacement process, discluding multiple teeth during the ART process including the selected tooth, preparing the identified surface of the selected tooth for adherence of a dental composite material, the preparation including application of a preparation material to the surface of the tooth, and applying the dental composite material to the prepared surface.
Ultrasonic ring tip to activate endodontic instruments
A new ultrasonic tip is used to activate endodontic files and includes a tubular body; a ring disposed at one end of the tubular body, the ring having an external diameter and an internal diameter; and the ring having a cut to permit easy insertion of the endodontic file; and a threaded hole at the other end of the tubular body, the threaded hole being capable of screwing onto an ultrasonic hand piece.
ANGLE PIECE HEAD
The angle piece head drives an instrument for operating on dental roots and includes a body having a generally cylindrical cavity and an instrument-holding core in the cavity. The core is shaped to receive and hold the instrument and moves axially and pivotally. The instrument-holding core includes a groove having an offset engaging therewith. The offset engages with one or the other of the two edges of the groove such that the rotation thereof transmits an alternating axial movement to the instrument while enabling same to rotate about the axis of the instrument. The groove includes two portions that extend on either side of a median area. For each portion, the height, namely the distance that separates the two edges, increases from the median area to each end of the groove.
Multi-directional handpiece
A multi-directional handpiece that includes a motor drive extending along and configured for rotation about a body axis, the motor drive having: a motor gearing at a proximal end of the motor drive; and a file gearing in engagement with the motor gearing for transferring the rotational and axial movement to a workpiece; and a housing for the workpiece; and wherein through rotation of the motor drive, the workpiece moves in an axial oscillating motion while being rotated.
