DYNAMIC SEAL FOR USE IN A DENTAL HANDPIECE
A dynamic seal for use in a dental handpiece is disclosed. The dynamic seal includes a seal carrier including a first portion having a first feature for receiving a first compliant member and a second portion having a second feature for receiving a second compliant member, and a flange disposed between the first feature and the second feature.
Finger mountable dental hand piece device
The present invention relates to a finger mountable flexible dental hand-piece device. In one embodiment the hand piece device comprises of: a head portion and a body portion, wherein the head portion and the body portion are engaged by a flexible joint to provide flexible movement for the head portion. The head portion defines a head enclosed in a head shell, where the head shell is accompanied by a first finger band which is stipulated on the top of the head shell. The body portion has a first end and a second end; the first end of the body portion is to engage with the head portion, wherein there is a second finger band which is stipulated on the top of the body portion.

Ultrasonic dental handpiece with rotary coupling
An ultrasonic dental handpiece system with rotary coupling comprising a dental handpiece and a dental handpiece tip wherein the system incorporates a swivel mechanism and dynamic fluid interface for the dental handpiece and dental handpiece tip to rotate freely relative to the dental handpiece cable thereby decoupling the handpiece from a torsion load applied to it by the handpiece cable and internal tubing and wires. The ultrasonic dental handpiece with rotary coupling generally includes a handpiece to which a piezo assembly and secondary coil are housed and a cable assembly including a primary coil and handpiece cable wherein the handpiece cable provides a supply of electrical energy and cooling lavage. The primary and secondary coils form a transformer wherein the secondary coil is inductively coupled to the primary coil with the secondary coil in electrical communication with the piezo assembly. A method of using a handpiece is also disclosed.
Lateral grinding drill with continuously variable angle and driving component thereof
The present invention discloses a lateral grinding drill with continuously variable angle, including a tube body component and a grinding head arranged at the front end of the tube body component, the grinding head being configured to be driven to pitch and rotate on its own axis, the tail end of the grinding head is articulated to the inner tube body along the circumferential direction in a form of transmission, and a flexible transmission part is arranged at least on the front end of the inner tube body, which is configured to be articulated to the tail end of the grinding head and be able to transmit torque. The present invention adopts a direct articulated structure to transmit the transmission between the inner tube body and the grinding head, and can implement pitching motion. A flexible transmission structure is used to compensate the axis deviation caused by the pitching and driving. The transmission structure is simple, and the transmission cycle is short, which facilitates stable control to improve the efficiency of the surgery. In addition, with the structure which can adjust the grinding head in both the pitching and circumferential positions, it achieves the universal direction adjustment of the grinding head, which can have a good adaptability for the surgery position and good accuracy to improve the efficiency in surgery operation, and shorten postoperative recovery time, to alleviate the suffering of the patients while reducing treatment cost.
Dental handpiece
A dental handpiece and a dental cleaning procedure are disclosed. The dental handpiece includes an inner barrel for rotatably retaining an ultrasonic insert, the inner barrel configured for contacting the ultrasonic insert with a cooling fluid in the inner barrel, a coil unit arranged and disposed to apply an alternating magnetic field to the ultrasonic insert when positioned in the inner barrel, an outer sheath extending around at least a portion of the coil unit, and the inner barrel is rotatable relative to at least one of the coil unit and the outer sheath. The dental cleaning procedure includes operating the dental handpiece and autoclaving the dental handpiece, allowing steam to flow through flow regions in the dental handpiece.
