Method of producing a dental prosthesis
The invention relates to a method of producing a dental prosthesis from a one-piece or multi-piece prosthesis blank which is constructed from a gum-colored material and a tooth-colored material (32), in particular in each case on a plastic base. It is characterized by being connected to each other at connecting surfaces, having an interface between the gum-colored and tooth-colored materials. This interface, when viewed along the connecting surfaces has an undulating shape and viewed in the vestibular direction has a radial shape. In order to finish the dental prosthesis, a CAD/CAM device determines the exact course of a gingival line, based on patient-specific data, and produces the prosthesis.
Radiation curable compositions and composite articles made using an additive manufacturing process
A radiation curable composition including at least one radiation hardenable component, a photo-initiator, and a filler material having a population of particulates in an amount greater than or equal to 50% by weight of the printable composition. The population of particulates exhibits a median diameter (D50) of greater than or equal to 0.3 micrometer on a volume-average basis as determined using the Particle Size Test Method, and the radiation curable composition exhibits a viscosity of less than or equal to 150 Pa s when measured using the Viscosity Test Method. A method, apparatus, and systems for producing composite articles by selectively exposing a portion of the radiation curable composition to a source of actinic radiation to at least partially cure the exposed portion of the radiation curable composition, thereby forming a hardened layer, preferably by an additive manufacturing process such as stereophotolithography, are also described. The composite articles may include composite dental restorations.
Dental cement kit
[Problem] To select a dental cement or a trial test material for easily obtaining high color tone adaptability to peripheral tooth substances, in mounting of or trial test of a prosthesis device [Solution] To provide a dental cement set consisting of a plurality of dental cements having color tones including color tones of 3 to n colors for selecting and using a dental cement from the plurality of dental cements having the color tones including the color tones of the 3 to n colors after trial test with trial test materials for the dental cement to be used from the plurality of dental cements having the color tones including the color tones of the 3 to n colors, wherein: the amount of information loss Pin with regard to first principal component determined by principal component analysis is less than 2, and. the dental cement set satisfies following Formula 1.
2≤((CL*.sub.p−1−CL*.sub.p).sup.2+(Ca*.sub.p−1−Ca*.sub.p).sup.2+(Cb*.sub.p−1−Cb*.sub.p).sup.2).sup.1/2<8 Formula 1
(wherein p is an arbitrary integer of 2≤p≤n).
Zirconia layered body
There is provided at least any of a layered body which has a change in color tone and in which it is unnecessary to select a colorant and the content of the colorant in consideration of a difference in the sintering behavior between layers, a precursor thereof, or a method for producing these. Provided is a layered body which has a structure, in which two or more layers containing stabilizer-containing zirconia and a colorant are layered, and in which types and contents of the colorants contained in the layers are equal to each other, the layered body including at least: a first layer containing a colorant and zirconia which has a stabilizer content of higher than or equal to 3.3 mol %; and a second layer containing a colorant and zirconia which has a stabilizer content different from that of the zirconia contained in the first layer.
Method and device for functionalising dental restorations
In a functionalization method for use in dentistry, and a method for same, the application device includes a support for receiving a partially processed shaped dental part for producing a dental restoration, and a dispensing device for the at least partial infiltration of a functionalization material onto the surface of the shaped dental part.
Method for constructing a restoration
The invention relates to a method for constructing a restoration, in which a dental situation is measured by means of a dental camera and a 3D model of the dental situation is generated. In this case, a computer-assisted detection algorithm is applied to the 3D model of the dental situation, wherein a type of restoration and/or at least a tooth number and/or a position of the restoration to be inserted are automatically determined.
Process for Treating a Porous Dental Zirconia Block with Coloring Solutions
Process for treating a porous dental zirconia block with a coloring solution, the process comprising the steps of providing a porous dental zirconia block having two opposing surfaces, surface U and surface L, treating the upper surface U of the porous dental zirconia block with a coloring solution A.sub.1, wherein the coloring solution is provided with a volume VA.sub.1, turning the porous dental zirconia block around, treating the lower surface L with a coloring solution A.sub.2 which is provided with a volume VA.sub.2. wherein the coloring solutions A.sub.1 and A.sub.2 comprise a solvent and coloring ions, wherein the volume of at least one of the coloring solutions A.sub.1 or A.sub.2 is applied in portions, wherein the following condition is met: Vo=ΣV.sub.AX, with x≥2, with Vo being the overall amount of coloring solution used to infiltrate the porous dental zirconia block.
