Dental Floss Holder and Flosser
A dental floss holder and flosser is provided. The flosser provides a reusable dental device for cleaning between the user's teeth. The flosser comprises a casing, a pair of tines, and a floss advancement reel. A bundle of floss resides within the casing. A length of dental floss from the bundle of floss is fed through the casing and into the floss advancement reel. The length of dental floss is wrapped around the floss advancement reel. The length of dental floss is then strung taut along the pair of tines, forming a fresh segment of dental floss. The remaining length is routed and wrapped back to the floss advancement reel. A user can then rotate the floss advancement reel such that the segment of dental floss is replaced and ready for the next use.

A dental floss cartridge is disclosed. The cartridge includes a housing, a roll of dental floss comprising a polymer such that the dental floss has a first surface and a second surface, a floss exit opening in the housing through which the floss is configured to exit, a texture-inducing structure arranged within the housing and configured to impart texture onto at least one of the first and second surfaces of the dental floss prior to or during the dental floss passing through the floss exit opening, and a cutting device on an exterior of the housing configured to cut the dental floss into a desired length.

The invention relates to a dental floss product and its manufacturing method. The dental floss product consists of a dental floss comprising an operating part for cleaning tooth gaps and two end portions with a gripping surface connected by a joining zone, the first end part being fixed to the first end of the dental floss and the second end is attached to the other end of the dental floss. The ends of the dental floss are permanently fixed around the end portions in the same direction of rotation, and the portion of the dental floss, which extends around the joining zone of the end portions, in the same or opposite direction of rotation. The dental floss is attached to the plate web by rotating it around its longitudinal axis or by rotating the dental floss around the plate web.

A dental flossing pick includes a body, a lever, and at least one torsion spring. The body may include a first arm and a first jaw, and the lever may include a second arm and a second jaw. The lever may be rotatably coupled to the body, and the at least one torsion spring may be coupled to the body and the lever. The package also includes a serpentine floss guide path defined by the container, the first panel, and the second panel. The serpentine floss guide path extends from the dispensing portion, along one side of the first panel, around and over the first edge to one side of the second panel, through the passage, and around and over the second edge. Strands of floss extend along the serpentine floss path and may be removed from the container one at a time by grasping and pulling the end positioned at the dispensing portion.

The method of using colored dental floss includes the steps of preparing a lingual side of a plurality of teeth for application of a bonding agent, applying the bonding agent to the lingual side, threading the elongated filament between a desired number of adjacent teeth in sections such that the elongated filament forms a plurality of loops on the lingual side, placing a wire through the plurality of loops, tensioning the elongated filament, applying the bonding agent to a contact point between the lingual side and the wire, curing the bonding agent, and removing the elongated filament.
