DENTAL ASPIRATION PREVENTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An aspiration prevention system may be configured to keep items from moving from a mouth of a patient into a throat of the patient. The system may include a mouth prop, a frame, and an air-permeable barrier. The mouth prop may have a top surface configured to abut top teeth of the mouth, a bottom surface configured to abut bottom teeth of the mouth, and a frame coupling feature. The frame may have a barrier retention feature configured to retain an air-permeable barrier, and a prop coupling feature that is attachable to the frame coupling feature of the mouth prop in a position in which the frame at least partially covers the throat.
Saliva Aspirator
A saliva aspirator having an injection moulded plastic component forming a coupling for connection to a suction hose, optionally via an adapter. A plastic moulded part is manufactured as a multi-component injection moulded part and forms a plastic component which is harder than another plastic component, the hard component, the coupling and optionally the adapter. The other plastic component, the soft or flexible component, forms a suction area with at least one suction opening or suction pore for saliva and an outlet opening towards the suction hose and consists in particular of an open-pored, preferably thermoplastic, elastomer.

CHEEK RETRACTOR
In order to improve the occupational safety of the treating personnel during a dental treatment of a patient, an apparatus is provided wherein the discharge of aerosols from the oral cavity during the dental treatment can be reduced to a particular extent or possibly completely prevented. To this end, a cheek retractor, in particular for holding the patient's mouth open during a dental treatment in the oral cavity or throat, is equipped with integrated suction, wherein a plurality of suction openings connected to a suction system are arranged on the lip support shell of the cheek retractor.

Lip retractor and suction head for high-volume evacuator
A system for lip retraction and aerosol reduction, including a mouthpiece with an integrated single-lip retractor and aerosol suction head, single-lip internal retentive wings and external retentive wings configured to support and secure the mouthpiece in a mouth of a patient, and comfort retention notches formed between the internal retentive wings and external retentive wings to enhance comfort of the patient and to secure the mouthpiece in the mouth of the patient. The system includes a High-Volume Evacuator (HVE) valve stem configured for attachment to an HVE suction tube to provide suction for the aerosol reduction.

Compact extraoral suction passage tip
A compact extraoral suction passage tip to help protect a dentist from infectious materials. The compact extraoral suction passage tip is made of an internal suction passage. The proximal end can be slid into a High Volume Evacuator (HVE) valve or other suctioning device, and the distal end can be placed near a patient's mouth to collect infectious materials and placed in a position that will not significantly impede dental operations. The distal end is shaped so that it can lie on or near the upper portion of a patient's bottom lip to provide suction capability. One embodiment contains ridges to help patients know where to hold the compact extraoral suction passage tip.
