CHARGER
A charger for charging a rechargeable energy source of a personal care device has a housing having a charging region for positioning the personal care device, a circuit for performing a charging procedure of the rechargeable energy source of the personal care device, a motion sensor for detecting a motion of at least a portion of the charger, preferably wherein the charger comprises a motion enhancer, a controller coupled with the charging circuit and the motion sensor. The controller is arranged to activate the charging circuit when the controller receives a motion signal from the motion sensor indicating a placement of the personal care device in the charging region and/or to deactivate the charging circuit when the controller receives a motion signal from the motion sensor indicating a removal of the personal care device from the charging region.
Teeth cleaning device
In one embodiment, the invention may be a teeth cleaning device including: a first support structure comprising a first dentature channel configured to receive at least a first portion of a dentature of a user; a plurality of teeth cleaning pads located within the first dentature channel; a plurality of air bladders operably coupled to the teeth cleaning pads; an air-flow subsystem operably coupled to the air bladders; and a control unit operably coupled to the air-flow subsystem, the control unit configured to: (1) pressurize the air bladders with external air in a pressurization mode; and (2) transfer air between select ones of the air bladders in a cleaning mode.
ORAL IRRIGATOR
An oral irrigator may include a body, a reservoir connected to the body, a tip connected to the body, a motor positioned within the body and including a drive shaft, a pinion gear connected to the drive shaft, a driven gear engaged with the pinion gear, a pump body positioned within the body and defining a pump chamber for receiving fluid from the reservoir, a piston positioned within the pump body, wherein the piston slidably engages an interior surface of the pump body to form a fluid-tight seal, and a connecting rod including a first end connected to the piston, a second end eccentrically connected to the driven gear, and a shaft extending from the first end to the second end. The shaft includes a first rib and a second rib spaced apart from the first rib along a length of the shaft.
ORAL TOOTHPASTE AND ELECTRICAL CLEANING DEVICE
An oral cleaning device includes a head portion that supports cleaning elements, a handle portion extending from the head portion, an EMF generator disposed in the handle portion. An inductor is located in the head portion and is connected to the EMF generator.
ORAL CARE SYSTEM, IMPLEMENT, AND/OR KIT
An oral care device having a head with cleaning elements and a handle coupled to the head. The handle may include a selectively rotatable ring arranged between the head and a distal end of the handle that is configured to allow a user to select a desired mode of operation of the oral care device. The handle may include a selectively illuminated light that is configured to display at least one color that visually indicates that certain behaviors, patterns, and/or consistent habits have been performed successfully. The handle may include a processor configured to track a duration of a user's brushing session, a light ring on a bottom surface of the handle, and a pressure sensor. Respective portions of the light ring may be selectively illuminated by the processor to visualize progress toward achieving a predetermined brushing routine time and/or to visualize an over-pressure condition sensed by the pressure sensor.
ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH AND CHARGING DOCK
Systems and method for an electric toothbrush and charging dock. The electric toothbrush may include at least one magnetic member and at least one charging coil in a central portion. The charging dock may include at least one magnetic member and at least one transmitting coil. The charging dock may include a proximal portion which may be attached to a distal portion of the charging dock to be rotatable relative to the distal portion. The charging dock may include at least one unit capable of receiving power from a power source. The energy received by the unit from the power source may be transmitted to the transmitting coil. The energy may be transmitted from the transmitting coil to the receiving coil in the electric toothbrush via inductive or resonance charging. The energy may be transferred from the receiving coil to a battery in the electric toothbrush.
TOOTHBRUSH CAPABLE OF SIMULTANEOUSLY BRUSHING ENTIRE SURFACE OF TEETH
The present invention relates to a toothbrush and, more particularly, to a toothbrush produced by providing soft bristles on a side of a solid bar and capable of easily and simultaneously cleaning a total of six surfaces, e.g., upper and lower flat surfaces, upper left and upper right side surfaces, and lower left and lower right side surfaces, of teeth based on a simple user operation of grasping the toothbrush with a hand.
Connected health care system
A connected health care system is provided with various devices for tracking and monitoring health statistics and behaviors including oral health, fitness, heart health, bone health, salivary diagnostics, diabetes, and further options that will be explored in the subsequent sections. The connected health care system is comprised of various devices, a data transfer medium (i.e. “smartphone”), and the Cloud, which allows for data transfer between multiple platforms and devices. Some devices comprised in the connected health care system include a toothbrush, a connected surface with sensors, a salivary diagnostic system, a breath analysis system, and further devices that will be explored in the subsequent sections. The connected health care system further provides a user identification system utilizing capacitive coupling of the human body between devices.
DEVICE FOR CLEANING A SET OF TEETH AND CLEANING MEMBER FOR USE THEREIN
The invention relates to a device for cleaning a set of teeth, comprising a handle, a drive arranged on or in the handle and a cleaning member connected movably to the handle and drivably to the drive.
A protection against overloading can here be arranged between the cleaning member and the drive. The overload protection can comprise a slipping coupling, for instance a magnetic coupling.
In addition or instead, the drive can comprise an electric motor and a rechargeable battery, wherein the rechargeable battery can be connected to a USB connection on the handle.
The invention further relates to a cleaning member which is evidently intended for application in such a device.
